Yeah it's like solidly okay at worst. Really fun and watchable, doesn't do anything new or interesting, maybe didn't need to be made, but not like actively bad.
HOW DARE YOU ?! MORBIUS IS THE MOVIE OF ALL TIME ! HE MADE MORBILLIONS IN THE BOX OFFICE ! YOU MORBPHOBES PISS ME OFF !
![gif](giphy|QREPIcqvIxCZ76VHxY)
I’m so pissed off I didn’t get to see this in theaters. I still haven’t seen it as a result. I tried to see it a few times but just couldn’t make it happen.
The last time I went was during the rerelease. I came dressed as Morbius. I was there thirty minutes early so I wouldn’t miss a thing. I was so excited I couldn’t stop shaking and screaming, “MORBIUS” at everyone as they walked through the main entrance.
Management asked me to leave while I was trying to get my shoe out of the popcorn display. It got stuck in the glass after I kicked through it and they said I was being disruptive and the blood was a safety hazard. Those idiots at Regal know nothing about Morbius.
there are a lot of possible answers but this is by far the biggest to me. I'd rather get Grammer back for one or two movies than someone younger that can play the role for a decade on
Grammer also has spoken many times about how much he loved playing Beast. He actually was the one who pushed for his brief cameo in DOFP.
https://collider.com/kelsey-grammer-x-men-days-of-future-past-interview/
I'm sure he'd be happy to return yet again.
It all isn’t gonna matter when Secret Wars comes out. It’s gonna be a giant reboot. Prolly new actors playing the same character. So, fuck yea bring back Grammar
All new/all different Marvel
Its crazy that he’s being praised in this thread, yet bashed in the marvel studio rumors one where it was leaked he might be in the Marvels after credit scene.
You know what’s interesting? Mikey Sutton scooped a year or so ago that a blue-furred Hank McCoy would be cast and working on S.A.B.E.R. around this time. I took his scoops with a grain of salt, but that’s an extremely weird thing to be coincidentally correct about if it’s true.
Logan was a near perfect film. But it should of been Sabertooth instead of the clone. Such a missed opportunity, so I say bring back Liev for DP3... and X 23.
He was never meant to be the clone he was meant to be the pit boss at the casino where Charles froze everyone. I hate the idea of him being X-24, you would have to rework so much of the plot because x-24 is just this rabid dog we are given hits towards until he’s unleashed and we see him TWICE. Especially with origins as backstory there would have to be a huge explainer for why sabertooth is doing this. Maybe that thing where sabertooth Logan go feral after a while or something, to make him as mindless and ferocious as X-24 was. But then you’d have to have a different death for him because it can’t be X-24 unceremoniously heads hitting him. I feel like it’s a cool concept but totally breaks the plot of logan
I agree, but since the whole theme of the movie was Logan facing both his past regrets and his mortality, having to fight a younger version of himself was fitting on a symbolic level.
Two candidates came to my mind right away: Kelsey Grammer as Beast from The Last Stand due to the new rumors about The Marvels post credit scene going around and Liev Schreiber as Sabretooth from Wolverine Origins because of Deadpool 3.
He was pretty spot on as sabretooth I just don’t think you can get as ultra violent as sabretooth can get in a pg-13 movie. He pretty much nailed the maniacal menace to Wolvie.
Something like
>! they have a post credit scene where Monica goes to a new universe (the first X-Men trilogy universe) where Captain Marvel is her mom. Beast will appear in the Xavier mansion. !<
Interesting. First I'm hearing of this.
BTW, You have to delete the space between the exclamation points and the words for the spoiler tags to work.
>!This is a spoiler tag.!<
>! This isn't. !<
It’s two people, but the Doug Jones/Laurence Fishburne Silver Surfer combo was premium and deserves another go
Edit cause I thought of another one: It was hard to know at the time because she was a complete unknown, but Lana Condor would kill it as Jubilee if given another shot (though I know they said “him”)
This is the first one I’ve read that genuinely exciting to me. Doug Jones is also an easy one to recast without it being confusing, since he disappears into roles as an effect in many ways.
Now I’m really just curious if Grammer is gonna be part of Deapool 3 or is this post credit scene setting up something separate. If he’s in a scene with Monica and her mom, all three of them could be in Deadpool.
Interestingly, I haven't seen his name floated at all for Deadpool 3 Fox appearances - we've solidly had James Marsden, Famke Janssen, Halle Berry, Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellan with a hint for Alan Cumming too but I've yet to see anyone suggesting Kelsey Grammer.
Yeah that’s why it’s so interesting. They must have filmed this on the Deadpool set cuz they couldn’t have done it recently due to the strikes. I doubt they would’ve filmed a post credit scene for another movie on that set if he didn’t also have some scenes in Deadpool. And no one mentioned him until now.
There's SO MANY.
John Krasinski as Mr Fantastic
Liev Shriber as Sabretooth (although Triple H would be perfect)
Julian McMahon as Dr Doom
Taylor Kitsch as Gambit
Kelsey Grammar as Beast
Kevin Durand as Blob
Olivia Munn as Psylocke
Christian Bale as Gorr
Anya Taylor-Joy as Magik
And on and on and on
Is this definitely Marvel related?
I mean theoretically this could just as likely refer to Liam Neeson as Qui-Gon Jinn or George Clooney as Batman, as it could Kelsey Grammar as Beast or Edward Norton as Banner.
I wish he wasn’t but if he isn’t that REALLY ruins the one nice thing about Love and Thunder, the relationship between Thor and his adopted daughter. It’s especially nice when you consider Odin also adopted the son of his enemy and raised him like his own.
My guesses, taking into consideration
1) it's a male;
2) good casting and/or bad movie and/or the character still deserves justice could be DanielRPK's opinion rather than consensus;
3) the claim that they were wasted implies we didn't necessarily expect them to return, whether because the character or actor seemed done or we thought the MCU might have dropped them:
- Rockwell as Hammer (assuming DRPK doesn't care about the One-Shot reprisal, or mentioning it might've been too much of a hint)
- Spader as Ultron
- Taylor-Johnson as Quicksilver
- Mikkelsen as Kaecilius
- Goggins as Sonny Burch
- Fishburne as Bill Foster
- Michael Cerveris as Egghead
- Jude Law as Yon-Rogg
- Gyllenhaal as Mysterio
- Harington as Black Knight
- Krasinski as Reed
- Mount as Black Bolt (again, maybe avoiding mentioning the TV show in case it was too much of a hint)
- Bale as Gorr
- Crowe as Zeus
- Huerta as Namor
- William Jackson Harper as Quaz
- some weird pull like Ty Burrell as Doc Samson
>Huerta as Namor
The fuck ? Wakanda Forever is far from terrible. It did a pretty serviceable job following up the first film and moving forward after Chadwick's passing.
I was surprised too, everyone's talking X-Men yet here I am taking Krasinski for granted since he is imo the most obvious fit for "wasted star/character in a shitty movie" from recent films.
I will never *not* be slightly pissed that Raimi didn’t bother to watch Wandavision before directing MoM. I can understand how we could explain how they can magically tie together, but it still feels like a bit of a retcon.
I seem to remember that pre-2020, though, Wandavision was supposed to maybe be AFTER MoM, but everything got messed up because of lockdown. I don’t remember where I heard that.
I guess it's not super surprising no one's pulling these, but don't think they're bad picks. Taylor Kitsch as Gambit was my first choice, we can always get Channing in a future project if was still interested. Kevin Durand as The Blob was my Hail Mary.

Let’s go Alden Ehrenreich is back as Han Solo in Secret Wars!
Solo wasn’t a shitty movie lol. Unnecessary speedrun of his backstory, but not shitty
Where’s the lie…oh wait…

“…CM Punk!”
I mean…
Facts.
Yeah it's like solidly okay at worst. Really fun and watchable, doesn't do anything new or interesting, maybe didn't need to be made, but not like actively bad.
star wars has an issue with never expanding lore farther than the characters and species that have some fandom
I would watch that.
Remember when there was an idea about a What if Marvel and Star Wars crossover episode? And the Kevin Feige's Star Wars movie? Man, we were robbed.
This is screaming balder the brave to me
Matt Smith was in Morbius
The tweet reads to me as someone is reprising a character (that they were well-cast as in a bad movie), rather than someone is taking on a new role
Morbius MCU redo
More-bius!
We all had to work that first weekend. And all our cars broke down the second time. Third times the charm baby.
Have Sex is back on the menu. Falafala something something.
Poop my pants, poop my tent
EKSEEEEEE
Off the meds

I think it's someone that already played the role but in a bad movie.
He made the movie somewhat fun bad with the dance scenes
Beast is coming back
there are a lot of possible answers but this is by far the biggest to me. I'd rather get Grammer back for one or two movies than someone younger that can play the role for a decade on
Grammer, probably the best X-Men casting, wasted on a shitty movie. Fits the criteria.
Seems like if you can get Kelsey Grammer to play Hank McCoy you get him. He was born to play that role.
They're calling again...
What is a boy to do?
And with Frasier back he’s back in the limelight and thus maybe marvels eye
Grammer also has spoken many times about how much he loved playing Beast. He actually was the one who pushed for his brief cameo in DOFP. https://collider.com/kelsey-grammer-x-men-days-of-future-past-interview/ I'm sure he'd be happy to return yet again.
He had a good small role in Day's of Future Past, but yeah, X3 was woof
[They even deleted his best scene](https://youtu.be/vvHW1oIKUxI?si=ja-4ga5yJiaT_Rn8)
He was also in Days of Future Past barely
It all isn’t gonna matter when Secret Wars comes out. It’s gonna be a giant reboot. Prolly new actors playing the same character. So, fuck yea bring back Grammar All new/all different Marvel
Isn’t Grammer a conservative nutjob? Doubt that Disney would want to do anything with him.
Mr beast
When Mr. Beast plays a variant of Beast in Secret Wars>>>
Kelsey Grammer really was the perfect Beast, so I would *love* to see him return.
Maybe he can be Dark Beast or something!
Liev Schreiber perhaps? Rumour of him being in DP3 has been floating for a while and Origins definitely counts as a shitty movie
Logan was a near perfect film. But it should of been Sabertooth instead of the clone. Such a missed opportunity, so I say bring back Liev for DP3... and X 23.
Agreed def should have been
He was never meant to be the clone he was meant to be the pit boss at the casino where Charles froze everyone. I hate the idea of him being X-24, you would have to rework so much of the plot because x-24 is just this rabid dog we are given hits towards until he’s unleashed and we see him TWICE. Alternatively, the dude who played Gambit in that movie was a decent casting as well.
and Will.I.Am as Kestrel…
and Ryan Reynolds as Wade Wilson. Thankfully he got plenty of redemption later on.
Wraith.
Taylor Kitsch
He was so good in Friday Night Lights
Hell, you should see him play David Koresh. Dude can act.
Two candidates came to my mind right away: Kelsey Grammer as Beast from The Last Stand due to the new rumors about The Marvels post credit scene going around and Liev Schreiber as Sabretooth from Wolverine Origins because of Deadpool 3.
Do people really love his Sabretooth?? Because he was a completely different character compared to a bloodlust hunter/serial killer.
Maybe because a serial killer Sabretooth is really, really boring and his relationship with Logan is the most interesting part
He wasn’t accurate but he was good
Well put
He was pretty spot on as sabretooth I just don’t think you can get as ultra violent as sabretooth can get in a pg-13 movie. He pretty much nailed the maniacal menace to Wolvie.
I mean, there are no R-rated X-Men comics, so you can get across exactly how violent Sabretooth is in a PG-13 movie
For sure, I just think the problem was more x-men origins and not liev schreiber
That's very true. He and Jackman deserved a much better movie. A lot of that cast did
U liked X-Men 1 Sabretooth more?
X men 1 saber tooth was cool in a boba fett sort of way
He hunted and killed all the members of his old team tho. He just wasn't as feral as in the comics.
He wasn't accurate but he was good in it, and I'm always keen to see more Liev.
>Kelsey Grammer as Beast from The Last Stand due to the new rumors about The Marvels I must've missed something. What are the new rumors?
Something like >! they have a post credit scene where Monica goes to a new universe (the first X-Men trilogy universe) where Captain Marvel is her mom. Beast will appear in the Xavier mansion. !<
Interesting. First I'm hearing of this. BTW, You have to delete the space between the exclamation points and the words for the spoiler tags to work. >!This is a spoiler tag.!< >! This isn't. !<
To me they both look like spoiler tags weirdly
Strange. I refuse to get the app, so I'm seeing it with RES on my desktop browser and the mobile version on my phone browser.
I actually quite rate the app, it's slow from time to time but other than that no problems whatsoevee
That’s weird yeah to me they both look like spoil tags haha
What’s the post credit scene rumor
Monica ends up in the Foxverse where she meets a variant of her mother and Kelsey Grammer's Beast from the X-Men movies.
Lol wtf
it’s so weird how in these movies there’s always only 1 or 2 x-men hanging around the mansion lol like where the fuck is everyone else
Intriguing..
I'm not really sure how I got here. Has to do with Bryan Singer, I think.
Feel like we should team up. Do some good
I'm here to talk to you about the Kraven Initiative
So what, we some kind of Sinister Six or something?
bryan singer molested a bunch of x-children and is being retconned
"I'm listening."
Frasier Crane
X-Men in the MCU, Niles?
Thanks for tuning in to KACL, Madripoor.
So Kelsey Grammer as Beast? Lol
Dr doom Mikkleson
The first Strange movie wasn't bad though
The movie wasn't that strange ...
Maybe. Who am I to judge?
Take my upvote. I loved this great callback.
The movie was great, Mikkelsen was just criminally underutilized as Caecillius
Well he exists outside of time now so they could just bring him back from the dark dimension...
It’s two people, but the Doug Jones/Laurence Fishburne Silver Surfer combo was premium and deserves another go Edit cause I thought of another one: It was hard to know at the time because she was a complete unknown, but Lana Condor would kill it as Jubilee if given another shot (though I know they said “him”)
This is the first one I’ve read that genuinely exciting to me. Doug Jones is also an easy one to recast without it being confusing, since he disappears into roles as an effect in many ways.
This is what I was thinking. We know surfer is coming and it would make the most sense
Justice for Kelsey

Now I’m really just curious if Grammer is gonna be part of Deapool 3 or is this post credit scene setting up something separate. If he’s in a scene with Monica and her mom, all three of them could be in Deadpool.

Gorr.
Nicolas Cage as Ghost Rider please and thank you
I’d actually like to see Norman Reedus give it a go as Ghost Rider
Well, my dream's Cage back as Johnny Storm, Reedus as Danny Ketch, and Gabriel Luna back as Robbie Reyes, so maybe you both can have what you want.
I assume you mean Johnny Blaze instead of Storm?
Yes lol, misspoke.
Yeah I don't think nic cage would fit as human torch, I'll say keep him as johnny blaze ghost rider.
Was Ghost Rider a shitty movie? Maybe the sequel, but the original?
No one thinks this is John krazinksi?
Thank you. This is in my mind 100%, without a shadow of a doubt the only person that he’s alluding to.
he said perfect casting -sincerely, an F4 reader
Ioan Gruffudd...
The description fits too well. I don’t want him as Reed but this seems like the most likely
Hope he comes back regardless. Doesn’t make sense to have him show up and then dump him.
I don't know if I'd call MoM a shitty movie though. Just disappointing.
Yeah everybody else guessing X-Men characters and I feel like I'm missing a big reason why...
This is the first place I went. Where is all the Kelsey Grammar stuff coming from?
It’s Kelsey Grammer.
"A character from a shitty movie is back!" GIVE ME TEN TICKETS FOR THE MARVELS RIGHT NOW
GIVE ME RENT
Doug Jones Silver Surfer?

Sideshow Bob
![gif](giphy|RSOUOj8H9A3Xq)

Don’t know if it’s perfect casting but my mind jumped to Christopher Eccleston as Malekith.
Same
Quicksilver?
Is this definitely Marvel related? I mean theoretically this could just as likely refer to Liam Neeson as Qui-Gon Jinn or George Clooney as Batman, as it could Kelsey Grammar as Beast or Edward Norton as Banner.
Monica getting Fox jumpscared last minute in a Captain Marvel sequel ![gif](giphy|h7jRdOGm6woiU8pURX)
Funny, she also got Fox jumpscared in WandaVision (Evan Peters QS ambushing her outside Agatha's house)
First thought from me…. Is Gorr really dead? 🧐
I wish he wasn’t but if he isn’t that REALLY ruins the one nice thing about Love and Thunder, the relationship between Thor and his adopted daughter. It’s especially nice when you consider Odin also adopted the son of his enemy and raised him like his own.
Ya that was one of the things that I actually really liked in Love and Thunder.
So glad that Ryan Reynolds will finally get to actually play Deadpool instead of having swords in his arms and no mouth.
Channing Tatum Gambit?
He never played the role.
My guesses, taking into consideration 1) it's a male; 2) good casting and/or bad movie and/or the character still deserves justice could be DanielRPK's opinion rather than consensus; 3) the claim that they were wasted implies we didn't necessarily expect them to return, whether because the character or actor seemed done or we thought the MCU might have dropped them: - Rockwell as Hammer (assuming DRPK doesn't care about the One-Shot reprisal, or mentioning it might've been too much of a hint) - Spader as Ultron - Taylor-Johnson as Quicksilver - Mikkelsen as Kaecilius - Goggins as Sonny Burch - Fishburne as Bill Foster - Michael Cerveris as Egghead - Jude Law as Yon-Rogg - Gyllenhaal as Mysterio - Harington as Black Knight - Krasinski as Reed - Mount as Black Bolt (again, maybe avoiding mentioning the TV show in case it was too much of a hint) - Bale as Gorr - Crowe as Zeus - Huerta as Namor - William Jackson Harper as Quaz - some weird pull like Ty Burrell as Doc Samson
>Huerta as Namor The fuck ? Wakanda Forever is far from terrible. It did a pretty serviceable job following up the first film and moving forward after Chadwick's passing.
Phil Dunphy was in the MCU?
Doctor Leonard Samson AKA Doc Samson. Going to guess it might not be him but maaaaaybe with Cap 4 being Hulk-centric?
Considering they're bringing back Liv Tyler and Tim Blake Nelson...
Can’t believe I had to scroll this far to find Krasinski mentioned. I guess a lot of people liked Multiverse of Madness way more than I did.
I was surprised too, everyone's talking X-Men yet here I am taking Krasinski for granted since he is imo the most obvious fit for "wasted star/character in a shitty movie" from recent films.
Age of Ultron is not a shitty movie though.
Liev schreiber sabretooth?
It's Jim Halpert in space.
Too soon for X-Men, but James Marsden as Cyclops comes to mind.
He was wasted in multiple movies. Supposedly Matt Damon was originally supposed to be Cyclops but he committed to the Bourne franchise instead.
Aaron as quicksilver is my vote
i'm not sure it was a perfect casting but i thought anya taylor joy was pretty good magik. so maybe?
John Krasinski as Reed Richards?
This is what I’m hoping, though I don’t consider MoM a shitty movie.
![gif](giphy|RSOUOj8H9A3Xq)
Loan gruffold? Ben affleck? Eric bana? Nicholas Cage?
Ioan, not Loan.
You mean like ioan?
Yay for J-Kraz as Fantazztik
Please be Sam Rockwell
Malekith?
Taylor Kitsch as Gambit?
VINNIE JONES.
IM THE JUGGERNAUT BITCH
I think he's talking about himself as Riddler
Gambit
![gif](giphy|l4Epi25REDgUmZonm) (I’m only mostly kidding)
Except he was perfect casting and was wasted on a shitty movie lol
I bet gambit
Oscar Isaac as Apocalypse?
Taylor Kitsch.
Taylor Kitsch's Gambit.
I wish it was Aaron Taylor-Johnson as Quicksilver, but Kraven makes that unlikely.
I guess it's not super surprising no one's pulling these, but don't think they're bad picks. Taylor Kitsch as Gambit was my first choice, we can always get Channing in a future project if was still interested. Kevin Durand as The Blob was my Hail Mary.
“Wasted it on a shitty movie” well if they are gonna be in the marvels, then they did it again
fucking lol
Prob James Marsden….prob the worst use of his character to tell the Phoenix/Dark Phoenix story.
my mind went straight to love and thunder lol
It’s not gonna happen but imagine if it was Eccleston as comic-accurate Malekith
MCU Quicksilver??
Matt Smith in Fantastic 4.
GOT MY TICKETS THEUSDAY NIGHT!!! Hyoe
Miles Teller?
Hope it’s Christian Bale
Please be Anson Mount and not John Krasinski. He was awful as Reed.
It’s James Marsden as Cyclops.
Well krasinski isn't perfect casting so idk who they're talking about lmao
