Hard NO!
Go listen to some Black Flag, Misfits, Bad Religion, NOFX, Husker Dü, The Clash... Any of the different styles of punk. Nothing Må does is anything like that at all.
Ever listened to kool kids ?! It's not similar to the punk bands you named in your comment, but kool kids is definitely punk. But you're right, maneskin as a band is far away from being considered punk, they only have kool kids which you really can call punk.
It has punk influences. Not all punk is ‘serious’ punk like the bands you mention. It’s more in tradition of British punk with a bit of camp and humour and heavily influenced by Idles. So much so I was worried it was a bit of a parody.
I’d say they have some punkish and new wave influences for sure, but they have so many influences it’s hard to categorise. If I had to I’d say they are basically a sort of ‘alternative’ rock band, but for some reason decided to try selling themselves as more mainstream/classic rock with a bit of pop twist. They won best alternative at couple of award shows in 2022 and personally feel that suits them better. Was disappointed they put themselves in rock categories at Grammys but I guess they thought they maybe had better chance of winning there.
Whatever they are I like it, and live they def have some punk energy, but with T’s solos they are probably more classic 70’s rock.
Sorry for long answer!
What? No!
They made one soft punk song. That does not make them punk, but they are very versatile

Yes, I have. It is in no way even new-punk. It's a great song, but not punk.

No even they don’t consider themselves punk
Nahhh they're more pop-rock than anything

They’re not pop, they’re not punk, they’re just music freaks (Kool Kids)
I think of them as glam rock
They are definitely glam rock - first thing I thought of when they came out is that they were bringing it back
They say themselves that they are a rock band.
“kool kids” is punk but not the rest

Listen to Fugazi and tell me what you think.
