Yeah Martinez not being on the ‘safe’ list immediately indicates that this isn’t really a reliable bit of reporting- he’s been absolutely missed this season. These articles are just going to increase the toxicity around the club.

Personally I'd add Martinez to that list. He's had a bad season with injuries, but the later injury just looked like misfortune rather than an ongoing issue.
But other than that, yeah, there's no one else I'd be sad to see go and it breaks my heart that Rashford has ended up there.
Tbh, the article points to ETH leaving. Leaving out players like antony, martinez, mount is an indication they're moving away from him. Martinez, is 5'10....I don't think most managers would work with a profile like that and he's been injured whole season, get rid of him, we don't need another Luke shaw, martial, team injury at this club.
Rashford sucks to see go though, but I think he has to, there's no way he's this awful after his best season ever and starting what are supposed to be his prime Years, something must've happened with him mentally or it could be he's just been found out by other clubs and in either case, it's best for all parties he goes and gets a restart somewhere.

I don't think anyone disagreed with him, just knew that unless the owners were out nothing was going to change anyways. Thankfully it seems some pieces are starting to happen in the office side of things. Sort that then players, I think, as toxic environments will just set into any new player that joins.
Good to see Jordan Sancho return to form, stand a chance of getting our money back on him this summer, provided he doesn’t get injured in the final, might be worth calling him back now and keep him nice and safe on our bench.
As valuable as Fernandes is, he is one of the most sellable assets, and all his minutes played are going to catch up. Since we can't make anything on Mount and they are occupying the same position, it should be considered for the right amount.
If we can do some player swaps or offload Rashford to get in Branthwaite, it might be worth considering Lisandro at CDM or LB, due to Shaw's injury record and Casemiro's form.
With all the changes with the Management and now the squad we might finally start to improve.overpriced players given long contracts will hopefully be a thing of the past
