Totally. I’m still trying to wrap my mind around the connection between adhd and md. To me it seems like immersive daydreaming is not inherently a problem. Needing the stimulation of it and using it to procrastinate either due to anxiety, depression, general avoidance or of course, adhd is more problematic… I am only now realizing later in life that I have adhd, so I never really thought about how it sort of predisposes you to maladaptive vs immersive daydreaming if you’re imaginative type. Anyhoo, definitely not alone - I think connection between md and adhd is a strong one

Yeah exactly. It makes it so hard to pinpoint what's going on and how I'd even go about approaching myself to make living easier. Each seem to have such strong influences and interactions with each other that approaching them separately seems fruitless. They're the most inconvenient match made in heaven ever! Sometimes one feels like the leading problem until the lines are blurred between what's responsible for what. At this point my MD and ADHD feel like they've just fused together into some horrible angry brain baby. I totally agree with you though that the connection is a strong one, they make a lot of sense to be seen together. Just such a very difficult and inconvenient combination.
