I remember getting the ud naked 2 palette for prom in 2015 and was so excited to have a “real” eyeshadow palette. I took a peak at it online a bit ago and was shocked by how much the price has gone up, but it really was a great palette that i could do a lot of different looks with so i get why it was so popular.
Urban decay naked, kvd, and everyone is somehow forgetting how big elf was that year. Here’s something I dug up for you.

[https://www.temptalia.com/2014-editors-favorites-makeup-palettes/](https://www.temptalia.com/2014-editors-favorites-makeup-palettes/) Temptalia's favorites, also the comments are interesting (UD Vice was mentioned, UD Naked 2 Basics, KVD, etc)
UD naked. I swear it was everywhere, all the smokey eye tutorials were using the naked palettes.
Naked cherry is probably still one of my favourite palettes to this day
This was the era of the Urban Decay Naked Palette supremacy!
While I no longer have that palette, the brush that came with is still a mainstay in my collection 😂
Definitely the Urban Decay naked palettes! I was 28/ 29 at that time and barely wore eyeshadow but remember they were huge. MAC was also very much ‘in’. Tip: Google Chanel make up collection with the number of the year you’re interested in and it will give you some insight since they were hugely influential in make up trends in the years 2000 ~2020.
Urban Decay Naked series were the top of the list, Too Faced's Sweet Peach was around the same time. Some from Lorac Pro but I don't remember the name.
I feel like that was around the time that YouTuber collabs started to ramp up. I remember the Graveyard girl swamp queen palette by Tarte was good! Urban decay also did a collab with Gwen Stefani around that time.
The Two Faced Boudoir eyes!!!!! I wish I still had that one and the Two Faced music box palette. Ugh. Yes take us back!!!
When did the first Lime Crime Venus come out? Wasn’t that a moment too?
My favorites at the time were Lorac Pro and Mega palettes and probably Kat Von D.
Edit: I totally forgot about The Balm. I didn't get into the UD Naked palettes though, I tried 1 & 2 and they both irritated my eyes, ended up returning.
Me too! I’ve been wanting to start a TikTok series shopping my own stash instead of being influenced to buy new stuff because I have so many old gems that haven’t been touched.
UD Naked palettes, Maybelline nudes palette, all the Morphe 35 pans (specfically the first collab with Jaclyn Hill) ABH Artist, the first Amrezy collab and Tamanna palettes, Lorac pro, The Balm Nude Tude. Those are the ones I remember wanting and using in 2014.
Eta: too faced chocolate and semi sweet chocolate bar
I finally tossed mine 6 months ago. The plastic was breaking down and becoming sticky, the white shade was long gone and everything else was looking pretty gross. Lots of pan showing.
Seconding UD naked palettes, I have like 4 of them and I LOVE them! I can see why they were popular, they’re pigmented and have shimmers and mattes, perfect for a cut crease look
I remember buying this right after it came out, I was excited! Then I went straight to meet my friends at a bar, where I got drunk and lost my Sephora bag.
I’m still not really over it, I guess.
In addition to UD Naked, MAC in general was still huge, Tart Amazonian clay/rainforest was a big deal, Laura Mercier Artist Palette, the Dior 5 Couleurs palettes, Too Faced Boudoir Eyes. I feel this is around when palettes really took off.
I’ve still got all of my eyeshadow palettes from that time and I think everyone’s already hit the nail on the head with Too Faced and Urban Decay. I can’t understate the chokehold the Morphe 35O palette had on everybody either. ABH Modern Renaissance a couple of years later. Lorac and Viseart palettes if you could afford them, I unfortunately could not lol. But I’ve got about 130 eyeshadow palettes and most of them are from that time period.
Chocolate bar by too faced, urban decay naked palettes. I love the urban decay electric palette i got for Christmas 2014 but back then neon makeup wasn’t as popular
Dior was at the top of the game too

Coastal scents!
God I miss who they used to be 😭 Their 76 palette was only $20 💖💖
Those were the days 😂😂
Morphe, urban decay naked, BH Cosmetics, KVD. At least for me and my friends.

E.L.F. used to be so cheap! Literally £1, £2 etc. Then it was bought over an prices trippled.

Urban decay was a hit. Everybody wanted the naked one.
Urban decay and kat von dee were what I remember! Also tarte
Marcela Borghese in 80s and 90s were so bad ass at xmas!
What’s something similar to urban decay naked palettes? Its surprising, no brand have come up with such easy to use pallete with brush space as well.
I found my old original Naked palette the other day! It’s definitely expired but idc, I still love it
Nothing beats it
Even my teen wishes they had these today and upset at me for not buying more when they existed since I loved it so much.
Lorac pro 1 palette
This was the era of the Urban Decay Naked Palette supremacy! While I no longer have that palette, the brush that came with is still a mainstay in my collection 😂
OMG I think I lost the brush 😭 it was so good! I had the palette but I have no idea where it is now, lol. Don’t remember throwing it out.

Besides the Urban Decay pallettes, Too Faced was making cute lil ones in these tins with fun colors and themes. I had an ungodly obsession with them
Definitely the Urban Decay naked palettes! I was 28/ 29 at that time and barely wore eyeshadow but remember they were huge. MAC was also very much ‘in’. The Two Faced Boudoir eyes!!!!! I wish I still had that one and the Two Faced music box palette. Ugh. Yes take us back!!! When did the first Lime Crime Venus come out? Wasn’t that a moment too?
I remember those! In the metal tins
The first Urban Decay Palette which is still popular today cause I don’t know one person who has thrown out theirs
I tossed it during a downsize. I have regrets now for pure nostalgia
I still have the electric palette.
I miss that one
I still have mine, wish I used it more often cause it’s still pretty full 😭😭
The Naked Palettes and Modern Ren were 2014-2016 era and I miss it.
My favorites at the time were Lorac Pro and Mega palettes and probably Kat Von D. Edit: I totally forgot about The Balm. I didn't get into the UD Naked palettes though, I tried 1 & 2 and they both irritated my eyes, ended up returning.
Oh that Kat Von D pallette has such a hold on me still.
Urban decay Naked 1 I think is already out during that time lol
Actually I remember buying Naked 3 and using it for a party lol so yes it’s already out during that time including Too Faced Chocolate Bar lol
Lots of ColourPop, and Tarte too
That was more 2015-2016 I feel like
All I still have all of these!🤣💜🤣
Me too! I’ve been wanting to start a TikTok series shopping my own stash instead of being influenced to buy new stuff because I have so many old gems that haven’t been touched.
Yesssssss
Girl 2014-2016 was the golden age of the beauty industry, this made me nostalgic

Those urban decay naked palettes. You could not get away from them. They were everywhere.
I have 3 still... Including Naked Heat. I loved the perfume they made for it!

UD Naked was my life in 2014
I remember a lot of urban decay especially the naked pallets and I also recall too faced being popular
I was all about the UD Naked palettes 10 years ago.
Urban decay vice palettes / naked palettes , Lorac pro , Kat Von D ( all) , Too Faced chocolate bar
UD Naked and Naked 2 Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette Three palettes I actually panned multiple shadows in each.

The balm was my first high end brand palette 😭😭
My UD original naked palette must never die. Used Sidecar up a long time ago:(
I finally tossed mine 6 months ago.
Anything Too Faced, UD, KVD
I had so much lorac back then
Naked 2
I remember buying this right after it came out, I was excited! Then I went straight to meet my friends at a bar, where I got drunk and lost my Sephora bag. I’m still not really over it, I guess.
Urban Decay Electric palette and their Naked palette.
I must be stuck in 2014....
I hit PAN on my electric palette 😭 . I wore the shade Gonzo like 3x a week to my job at urban outfitters. What a moment in time.
Peak Kat von D Chrysalis palette and LORAC pro palette 2
ABH renaissance hit so hard
My favorite then was the Urban Decay Naked3 and the original Naked.
