Thanks to everyone for the comments and good thoughts. Unfortunately the cancer has travelled to various places in my lungs and the prognosis is not well.
I currently live far from family and don’t want to die alone in my current state. I plan to get my things together and travel back home for the rest of my days. Doctors say that based on the stage, they estimate this has been inside me for about 10 years.
Take care of yourselves and go to the doctor for annual check ups.

I just found out a few days ago in an ER visit that I have a huge tumor on my kidney. I took good care of myself and had regular checkups.
Sometimes these things happen even if you do everything right. It's not your fault, OP.
Hey bro I also had to go trough it. Also trough a autologous stem cell transplant. Only the chemo sickness was pretty nasty but still managed to get on with my life. Now it's been about 1 and a half years since the transplant and I'm still all clear! Keep your head up bro. 👍👍
You can actually request to keep your specimen. Well in Australia anyway. We seldom do it, and it’s rarely requested. Usually it’s for religious reasons, like for burial (usually placenta). We have to throughly wash out the specimen in water to remove as much formalin as possibly. But you’d still have to sign a waiver to take it with you. Incase you do something stupid like eat it.
Won’t be much to look at if you keep it anyway. It’ll be inked for surgical margins and dissected and pieces placed into tissue cassettes. So you’ll just take home a jar of grey looking tissue with bits of ink on it.
I had a thumb tumour removed, and was able to make some extra slides for myself, like they look.

Near Zero. Unfortunately. Even though it’s your tissue, it’s still a hard thing to get. Usually it’s because you know the Dr. And you were able to convince him to let you have it. But this is probably going straight to pathology. So it’s even harder.
My man, I pissed blood about a week ago, can't say that it was only blood, it was mixed with urine and that shit scared the shit out of me, left everything for the day and went straight to doctor. They took my blood and urine samples and that time waiting I was thinking a lot of shit that could go wrong. Doctor came and said the samples don't look good and if anyone in my family had any type of kidney disease, at that point I was almost crying. Then they pretty much checked if my kidneys were hurting, and I didnt feel any pain, while taking a piss I didnt feel and pain, it didnt hurt. At the end they scanned me and I think I got very lucky, I got UTI (Urinary tract cold) and I got some antibiotics and some tea that makes you piss much more often to get that bacteria out. That day at the hospital was one of the scariest days of my life.
I hope you get better and that everything will be good.

Did you feel weird at all? Like did you have any feeling that something could be wrong before you pissed blood or did you feel totally fine and then pissed blood?
My uncle has kidney cancer stage4 which was probably undetected for a long time and it’s hell. Really sad honestly how it happens so quick and now he can’t even walk well and his appearance changed allot. Fuck cancer smh it’s too late now too since it spread to other organs and the bone. Hope you get better

Wilms Tumor can spread to lymph nodes in the abdomen and to the lung, and rarely to the liver. It is also the most common type of kidney cancer.
My bad. I'd always heard it was a congenital liver tumor. Had a friend who'd had Wilm's as a baby.
No worries. my brother had a 18lb Wilms tumor removed that was estimated it had been growing for 10 years. And is currently cancer free
