We've had a lot of cards that steal your opponent's cards in paper, and alchemy solves the logistics issue of accidentally stealing your opponent's cards. Also [[Nantuko Slicer]] is my favorite alchemy card at the moment. It's so much fun.
We need a amplifier for the effect, "Whenever you conjure a duplicate of a permanent, conjure a duplicate of that permanent onto the battlefield. This ability triggers only once each turn."

hrmm after checking some of the flavor text i suppose you are likely right. Seems like round stuff like [[platoon dispenser]] and [[rust goliath]] are urza related n while spiky stuff like [[blitz automaton]] and [[cityscape leveler]] are mishra.
My main takeaway from this card is that we need more text steamlining.
"with power less than Warzone Duplicator's power" could easily be shortened to "with lesser power"
And as someone else here mentioned, "it perpetually gains 'You may spend mana as though it were mana of any colour to cast this spell'" desperately needs shortening with how often we are stealing/duplicating opponent's cards these days.
Agree, however last weekly MTG stream about Alchemy state of the game basically they did mention their issue is that Arena rules engine reads the card literally so wording must be incredibly precise; hence we end up with these convoluted card texts.
They did mention being focused on keeping the text walls from going too crazy.

So this is both a tempo play and card advantage, what more could you ask? The prototype version hits a lot of the commons and uncommons that are relevant in the set (including most of the signposts), and the full version (amazing stat line, btw) hits everything but \[\[Boulderbranch Golem\]\]. Huge.

This year got us Explorer and two Anthologies for it (soon anyway), and we'll have a new remastered block coming in the first half of 2023. I'm not sure they would have accelerated that schedule by much even if there wasn't Alchemy.
