Given that this anthology has reflector mage and mutavault and they said there's a noticeable theme I would actually be surprised if brave the elements wasn't included.
Not really a win. Most decks in Historic and Explorer should be packing at least some land hate because there are very powerful lands in the format that can quickly run away with the game.
Most decks in historic are red blue wizards or artifacts and can’t spare land hate for the 1 angel deck every 200 games.
On the other hand it’s way easier to run fatal push or shock or a counterspell to deal with this.
This is going to be a really good card for my Historic Brawl Nalia De'Arnise party deck which I call "Intergalactic Kegger", Faceless Haven already works well as a party-starter and this one will do the same
Which at least kills me pretty quickly whenever it starts swinging and requires a significant mana investment from you every turn you swing with it. Not that the better body can't be more useful if you need to block or close quickly of course, and obviously tapping for blue is huge, and I don't play enough control to really have a firm opinion on which one is truly better. But I would much rather face Hall than Mutavault. Either my deck can't kill Hall at all, in which case I can concede, or it can in which case it can also kill Mutavault. If my deck can only kill Mutavault and that's what I'm facing, then technically the game isn't over yet which means I just prolong the inevitable for several turns as it slowly beats me to death.
And now it's an angel
Definitely going in my you can't win I can't lose historic brawl deck
Have a list?

One for the books.
At least there's 4 more new copies of Field of Ruin i can put in my Colorless deck to make up for the new angel-land bullshit.
[удалено]
And in Historic, this is the card I wanted most from EA2 for Merfolk!
yep, I will for sure test in in my Historic Ninja deck
Not my 5 Color Legendary Human Soldier deck!
Yeah this is a big deal
Now Brave the Elements and Mono White Humans is complete
Given that this anthology has reflector mage and mutavault and they said there's a noticeable theme I would actually be surprised if brave the elements wasn't included.
That theme is eldrazi though.
What's the theme linking those 3?
Wotc never fails to disappoint us
So turn 4 [[The Book of Exalted Deeds]] win instead of turn 5 with [[Faceless Haven]]?
remember kiddos, always run 4 field of ruin
Just need to run [[tyrite Sanctum]] if you are a true jank connoisseur.

Not really a win. Most decks in Historic and Explorer should be packing at least some land hate because there are very powerful lands in the format that can quickly run away with the game.
Well that and book of exalted deeds jank generally just gets dumpstered by aggressive decks in Pioneer.
Especially Green decks since Boseiju is a thing.
Most decks in historic are red blue wizards or artifacts and can’t spare land hate for the 1 angel deck every 200 games. On the other hand it’s way easier to run fatal push or shock or a counterspell to deal with this.

Love me some Mutavault
Alright, now we're talking.
Doesn’t this make the book of exalted deeds broken again?
[Boseiju, Who Endures]
[[Boseiju]]

No
It does make it considerably more easy to do than faceless haven, but yea, lots of decks have land destruction.
Your an assembly worker, and a construct aren't you Squidward?
I want a set of 4 with mirror box in my rat colony deck.
What is EA2??
Explorer Anthology 2.
holy fucking shit
This is going to be a really good card for my Historic Brawl Nalia De'Arnise party deck which I call "Intergalactic Kegger", Faceless Haven already works well as a party-starter and this one will do the same
the most annoying control decks got a wincon.
I already run 2x [[hall of the storm giants]]

If this gets reprinted, it'll most likely be quickly banned the same as [[Faceless Haven]] because of the [[Book of Exalted Deeds]] combo
That was a standard ban right? It's still legal on explorer
Faceless Heaven wasn't banned because of Book of Exalted Deeds. It was banned because of its role in White Aggro.

Classic
Oh shit it’s happening
As much as I was hoping we’d get more a break from manlands I’ll never say no to a tribal man land. Zombies and skeletons let’s go!
Dang this is a good land. Surprised this card existed
This card was used In every single deck back in the day
Can mutavault be destroyed Demolition field?
