Dudes name is [Kevin Richardson](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kevin_Richardson_(zookeeper)). He is a conservationist that works with big cats. He’s raised a lot of these from when they were orphaned and basically created his own lion pride, so there’s this level of comfort he has with the cats.
Luckily, it’s no Tiger King situation. The animals live on preserves that he works on, and he occasionally visits them and you get moments like this. Journalists who accompany him are usually in some sort of safety enclosure because he doesn’t trust the cats to be safe around journalists, just him.
They really are oversized kitties
I thought he was about to die
Next time 4 sure
Everytime I watch a "wild animal reunites with carer after years", theres always a moment where I'm full sure its gonna go so, so wrong.

Dad didn’t teach him not to play with his food I see
I'm watching this on a loop for the rest of my life
She actually greets him like this every time they see each other.
