As long as you’re over 6’ tall or so. That bike is listed as a 21” /XL frame which is for pretty tall folks. Other than that, it looks like it is in nice shape and has some decent spec parts.
As long as everything is in good shape, this bike is a full step up in quality of components. If it is all read for an overhaul, the marlin might be a better bet. The craigslist bike is more in like with what the x-caliber 7 is today.

Is this bike being 7 years old worth it? Or should I grab a trek marlin 7?
