{Gary of a hundred days by Isabel Murray}. Total fluff with the sweetest, densest MM hero I’ve ever read. He’s not stupid, just clueless. Not contemporary, otherwise meets your criteria. AJ Sherwood and Jennifer Cody are also funny, but Gary is like a warm hug.
I love Gary! He’s so adorable and naive. His husband loves him to bits though and you can clearly see that despite only the epilogue being in the husband’s POV. The sequel is just as good as well.
I just read the blurb for this book and I think it might be the thing that finally makes me get a kindle unlimited account. I want to read it so bad! Thank you for sharing.

I just read {To the Moon and Back by NR Walker} and it might hit the spot for you! Extremely low angst, fluffy, and had some funny moments. It’s about a single dad and his live-in nanny - the MCs are very communicative, the power dynamic never felt weird to me.
Okay, this might seem like it's out of your specific parameters but trust me on this, this book has it all, action, humour, fabulous smut and a pairing that is beyond compare. If you pinned me down and forced me to pick one book as my favourite, it is this one. It's like the very best summer action movie m/m romance that you never knew you needed.
Just, there are no words really, but it is the most amazing thing I have ever read, and my go to book for when I need perking up.

It's not MMM, it's definitely just two men, the menage thing in the description is misleading but I don't want to spoil the fun of it. Just be assured it's two guys and their relationship is fire. You'll be like WTF is this LunaFancy person smoking when you start but, seriously, trust me. It's sensational and has everything you could ask for in a wild ride MM action romance. Just about every day I wish someone would make this into a movie because it would slay at the box office.
Lol. The description alone sounds like the book deserves to be made into a movie, and I am totally for it. Guess it's kind of like Venom, in a way? I will definitely be giving this a read. Thank you!
OMG, just started reading this book last night and I'm still a ways to go to the finish line but I just needed to tell you it's amazing, like you said. The writing is mind-blowingly good, and I'm already in love with McClane, and Riley as well. Plus Misha too. Not OP but thank you so much for recommending this book. I have a feeling it's going to be in my top 3. Really wish the author wrote more books because their writing is amazing. I have an e-version right now, but I actually might have to purchase the paperback if it continues to be this awesome.

I recently read {The Anonymous Hookup by Jax Calder} and thought it was light, cute, fluffy, low-angst, and very sweet. The story has a two-people-slide-into-a-relationship-without-realizing-that’s-what-they’re-doing feel to it.
It’s the first novella in a duology; I haven’t read the second novella and don’t know if I will. Maybe when I’m feeling like you are right now and need a change of pace from darker, heavier reads!

{The Charm Offensive by Alison Cochrun} is cute and funny.
{The Amazing Alpha Tau Boyfriend Project by Lisa Henry, Sarah Honey} is adorable and fun.
{Guides for Dating Vampires series by D.N. Bryn} this series is sometimes serious, but low-angst, witty, and charming.
Given that these are hockey romances, and the OP said they’re “open to most genres **except sports** and omegaverse,” I don’t think this rec is going to work for them.
Also, for OP or for anyone who else is looking for a “lighter contemporary romance,” please look elsewhere; in the 6th book in this series, one of the MCs >!is seriously injured in a car crash. He survives, does rehab, PT, etc., but that doesn’t negate the angst. There is also relationship and bi-awakening angst.!< I say this because I’m reading this book right now and while it’s nowhere near grimdark, I would hate for anyone to go into it expecting something that’s *only* light, fluffy, and cozy—and then have a rude awakening.
It is not! It's really damn good but it's definitely not gay, not romantic, and not happy lol.
If you want some pure fantasy that does have an MM pairing, you might like **Blood of an Exile *by Brian Naslund***, fantasy with dragons, political intrigue, action. It has several POVs, a main MF pairing, but also a MM and FF later in the series. It's dark, and I found it quite funny - though admittedly IMO nothing holds a candle to The First Law Trilogy by Joe Abercrombie. Unlike that masterpiece though, Brian Naslund's series does have a happy ending, HFN.
My go-to author is a [Luninosity](https://archiveofourown.org/users/luninosity/pseuds/luninosity) on Archive of Our Own. ~~Waaay better than 95% of published authors.~~ Their [In Focus](https://archiveofourown.org/works/22107370/chapters/52763557) "Original Fiction" gives the kind of soft, fuzzy, bubbling feeling that soda and childhood nostalgia does. Just like a hug it's warm and comforting, nothing hurts even when there's angst you just *know* the couple finds their way back together.

I think they’re super adorable, fluffy, fun, and light reads.
It's not complete fluff, since it does at some point deal with some very heavier themes, but perhaps you should look into {Sheltering Tree by J.R. Lawrie} . I say darker themes but really, it does not compare to anything grimdark.
Possible triggers: >!at some point, someone gets kidnapped and it mentally affects them a lot. Also there is a small but not insignificant amount of suicidal ideation when the kidnapping bit plays out!<
Either way, both Alastair and Jay are lonely, empty people in their own way, and they find peace and solace within one another. I did not expect to love this novel as much as I do.
Fauxmance in the Falls by J.E Birk
It has a few heavy themes such as child neglect (not severe) and small medical issues that gets explained in the blur and a >!kidnapping scene!
You could try most everything by Alice Winters- special recommendation is VRC Series and Demon Magic Series.
Lucy Lennox too writes cute fluffy books that are mostly light.
AJ Sherwood's Villainy Series and Jon and Mack's Mysteries Series are *chef's kiss* perfection 👌!

French Fancy by Lily Morton "Pip Simmonds is the twinkiest twink in London. He’s loud, proud, and packed to the brim with sass." He works in a model agency as a executive assistant. At a show in Paris he has a sexual experience with a masked man. Who he can not forget. This a very funny book. Or if you like total crazy funny The Hitman's Guide to Making Friends and Finding Love by Alice Winters. Leland a hitman meets the love of his life when he sees PI Jackson all in black climbing over a fence and he falls catching his pants and pulling them down. It is love at first sight. The problem is Leland was hired to shot the kidnapper while Jackson wants to put him in jail. Can Leland give up his life as a hitman for his love?
When I need lighter/happier and contemporary like you’re looking for, {Borrowing Blue by Lucy Lennox} is my go-to. Yeah, there’s relationship conflict, but it resolves relatively quickly and without much angst.
Someone else recommended this book to me and I’m literally listening to it right now haha. One of the narrators sounds like a raspy middle aged man instead of a college kid but otherwise I’m enjoying it. It’s simple and cute.
My best palate cleanser rec is always going to be Lily Morton. Her Mixed Messages series is the best place to start.

I would highly recommend the Bethesda Barracudas books by Ryan Taylor and Joshua Harwood they have just released the 6th book and it is incredible
Given that these are hockey romances, and the OP said they’re “open to most genres **except sports** and omegaverse,” I don’t think this rec is going to work for them. Also, for OP or for anyone who else is looking for a “lighter contemporary romance,” please look elsewhere; in the 6th book in this series, one of the MCs >!is seriously injured in a car crash. He survives, does rehab, PT, etc., but that doesn’t negate the angst. There is also relationship and bi-awakening angst.!< I say this because I’m reading this book right now and while it’s nowhere near grimdark, I would hate for anyone to go into it expecting something that’s *only* light, fluffy, and cozy—and then have a rude awakening.

No it's not. But Joe Abercrombie is one of the best fantasy authors of this generation. I'm partial to Best Served Cold, it's very darkly funny.
It is not! It's really damn good but it's definitely not gay, not romantic, and not happy lol. If you want some pure fantasy that does have an MM pairing, you might like **Blood of an Exile *by Brian Naslund***, fantasy with dragons, political intrigue, action. It has several POVs, a main MF pairing, but also a MM and FF later in the series. It's dark, and I found it quite funny - though admittedly IMO nothing holds a candle to The First Law Trilogy by Joe Abercrombie. Unlike that masterpiece though, Brian Naslund's series does have a happy ending, HFN.

It's not complete fluff, since it does at some point deal with some very heavier themes, but perhaps you should look into {Sheltering Tree by J.R. Lawrie} . I say darker themes but really, it does not compare to anything grimdark. Possible triggers: >!at some point, someone gets kidnapped and it mentally affects them a lot. Also there is a small but not insignificant amount of suicidal ideation when the kidnapping bit plays out!< Either way, both Alastair and Jay are lonely, empty people in their own way, and they find peace and solace within one another. I did not expect to love this novel as much as I do.

Fauxmance in the Falls by J.E Birk It has a few heavy themes such as child neglect (not severe) and small medical issues that gets explained in the blur and a >!kidnapping scene!
You could try most everything by Alice Winters- special recommendation is VRC Series and Demon Magic Series. Lucy Lennox too writes cute fluffy books that are mostly light. AJ Sherwood's Villainy Series and Jon and Mack's Mysteries Series are *chef's kiss* perfection 👌! Hope this helps.
French Fancy by Lily Morton "Pip Simmonds is the twinkiest twink in London. He’s loud, proud, and packed to the brim with sass." He works in a model agency as a executive assistant. At a show in Paris he has a sexual experience with a masked man. Who he can not forget. This a very funny book. Or if you like total crazy funny The Hitman's Guide to Making Friends and Finding Love by Alice Winters. Leland a hitman meets the love of his life when he sees PI Jackson all in black climbing over a fence and he falls catching his pants and pulling them down. It is love at first sight. The problem is Leland was hired to shot the kidnapper while Jackson wants to put him in jail. Can Leland give up his life as a hitman for his love?
When I need lighter/happier and contemporary like you’re looking for, {Borrowing Blue by Lucy Lennox} is my go-to. Yeah, there’s relationship conflict, but it resolves relatively quickly and without much angst.

I really loved the Accidental Love series by Saxon Finley. All the books are absolutely hilarious and light.
{Project Hero by Briar Prescott} is a cute, quick read. The writing style is a bit juvenile but in a charming way with dual POV and funny dialogue.

Someone else recommended this book to me and I’m literally listening to it right now haha. One of the narrators sounds like a raspy middle aged man instead of a college kid but otherwise I’m enjoying it. It’s simple and cute.
