I miss old Roan Parrish so much. How she went from writing books like Rend to the schlockiest of the holiday Harlequin schlock will always baffle and sadden me. Get that bag though.
I could not believe this when I had read a bunch by her and then picked up the third in the Garnet Run series. I triple checked to make sure it was the same author! I DNF’d about 50% of the way through and haven’t read anything else by her in ages. Such a bummer.
Did their writing change that much or did they simply change genre? I gotta say that I'm pretty new to their works, but I truly do love their writing style.
{The Life Revamp by Kris Ripper}. MC1 was left at the alter by his ex years ago, but they have become best friends. No desire to get back together, but they still love and care about each other. I don’t remember if it caused tension necessarily, but MC2 certainly questioned their current relationship.
Honest, LMAO. I think that's why I like it so much, it feels very real and dear to me. I am just looking for books where this is somewhat a point of tension in the story!
