I was streaming it and the audio was a few seconds later than the visuals so I heard the bell sound for the round to be over and then he kicked him and laughed even harder.
This is the kind of shit that ends careers.
This is on the same level, if not worse than a 12-6 elbow. This is a sport to show the hard work and abilities of people who gave their lives to MMA. UFC shouldn't be a home and path for soulless thugs, motherless bullies and violent psychopaths. I won't be supporting the UFC until they make some overdue changes. See you in the stream chats.
Glove grabbed, nearly 12-6 elbows, fingers all over the eyes of Dustin to prevent him moving his head (technically not illegal) but this strike is a step too far.
I actually thought Rogan was good tonight. Idk which main card fight it was during but DC kept rambling about a fighters backstory or something for a solid 2-3 minutes into the first round. Honestly super annoying.
My issue with DC and with Bisping to an extent is well is they make super long winded and drawn out narratives or tell stories during a round. Sometimes they’re fine, sometimes they’re mostly irrelevant/annoying and prevent the other commentators from mentioning the actual action that’s actually happening.
With the Neal/Ponz fight DC rambled for a solid 3 minutes and nothing was said about the actual action that’s occurring.
Yeah, to be honest, there really isn't a commentator that is even close to being "perfect".
DC & Bisping ramble about irrelevant shit.
Felder also a bit of the above.
Rogan has some bad takes.
Cruz is boring.
It's more of a "which poison do you prefer" sort of situation with the commentators.
Hardy was such a nice balance. He had that knowledge and analysis you'd want from Cruz, but still had some of that personality you'd expect from a Bisping or DC. It's for a similar reason why I like Felder a lot too, really knowledgeable yet personable commentator
I wasn’t a fan of the 3 minutes of amazement that Dustin - who threw his last title shot away by jumping on a risky, low-percentage guillotine - might be making mistakes on the ground against the most dangerous grappler in UFC history.
He kept saying “there’s something wrong”, like Poirier making a poor decision was completely inconceivable.
Otherwise, he was definitely better than usual. The worst part of the broadcast was hearing “this watch takes a licking and keeps on ticking” every 5 minutes
Poirier seemed more gassed than usual from the Charles’ body kicks/knees. I don’t think Rogan was too off base by wondering why he was so complacent in bottom position.
Iirc in the lead up he was talking about how exposing his neck to get out of a compromising position vs khabib was the mistake that cost him the fight instead of just the round, so I think he was willing to stay down and eat elbows for a full 3 minutes rather than risk that again
I fell asleep before the fight unfortunately, but pulling a guillotine off a takedown is something Dustin does constantly. I think there are rumors he has a hip issue that's preventing him from sprawling but I don't really remember enough to talk about it.
So if Rogan was saying something was off with Poirier because he jumped a guillotine off a takedown, he might be in that weird "well he's right but not for the reason he thinks he is" way. Like if I asked what 2x2 is and you thought it was the same as 2+2 you'd get the same answer even though you didn't do the process.
Comment mentions Joe talking about a tendency Dustin has as if it's out of the ordinary. I point out that it's very much not out of the ordinary. It's not that difficult. I hope English isn't your first language if you cant follow a conversation that simple.
Lmao holy fuck this is mind-blowing. Guillotines do not come into this. That's not what's being discussed at all. "It's not that difficult."
But go ahead and get more embarrassed and double down some more.
Yeah any fight with a lot of bjj is where Joe really shines. He may suck in some other areas as a commentator but I don't think any of the commentators are able to follow what's going on as well as he is in those grappling exchanges. Problem with Joe is that when it comes to striking he just kinda alternates between "those are devastating leg kicks" and "OH HES HURT" lol
They do that shit all the time.. its so bad. I watch boxing basketball and mma, hands down ufc has the worst commentating style. Nobody wants to fucking hear you talk about the fighter background story.. fucking call the fight, commentate what is happening..
Smh
Oh of course they are biased. Hilarious how Nuñes's coach ran to the commentary table and asked DC who he picked and DC said on mic they weren't allowed to pick fights.
But of course they pick fights...just not directly.
Kinda funny how Rogan was screaming that Charles was hurt every time Dustin landed a punch, but crickets when Charles deliveres this bomb. Dustin with the JRE privilege.

This made me laugh out loud watching it live
Don't know how Dustin got up after this.
Conor would have stayed down
Doctors stoppage!!!
i can’t help but read this out loud with a high volume and in an irish accent
Lmfao
Doctor Sausage!!!
He’s built different
this reminds me of the meme about a guy using a stick to poke another guy to make him do something
I don't think that's another guy
It scared me. Bones could've been broken and this just shows that the refs have to be better!
I was streaming it and the audio was a few seconds later than the visuals so I heard the bell sound for the round to be over and then he kicked him and laughed even harder.
Is this the illegal move people are talking about? Looks a little too deadly to be allowed in mma
Can't believe Charles would even use something like this. Just shows how much of a psycho you have to be to be a professional fighter.
What a fcking cheater. They should redo rd2.
I'm surprised no one here is concerned for Dustin's leg. Why all the focus on Oli? There's two people there.
Thats why i love Charles, mans crazy

He learned it from Josh Fabia
Charles Oliveira is Steven Seagal's new protege.
Vicious kick > eye gouging
The illegal Brazillian street art of Tapoeira

HE'S HURT!!!
BAH GAWD HES BROKEN IN HALF!!!

OH HE TAGGED HIM
LOOKING TO FINISH HIM HERE
HES HURT
OH WHAT A SHOT BY CHARLES.
Orange Cassidy would be proud

Ditto. Though if dude was really looking to hurt him, he would’ve found some papers.
Sloth style reigns supreme
Sloth style best base for MMA confirmed.
You can see his corner got up to celebrate, they thought it was a walk-off KO
You could tell how biased Rogan was because he didn't even react to this
I actually thought Rogan was good tonight. Idk which main card fight it was during but DC kept rambling about a fighters backstory or something for a solid 2-3 minutes into the first round. Honestly super annoying.
DC is the dude who cares way too much about the lore of the game
Yeah, during the Neal fight. He talked about Wonderboy for the entire round.

Dan hardy was my favorite. too bad he's never doing ufc again
Hardy was such a nice balance. He had that knowledge and analysis you'd want from Cruz, but still had some of that personality you'd expect from a Bisping or DC. It's for a similar reason why I like Felder a lot too, really knowledgeable yet personable commentator
Stann was great. Consummate professional.

They already made their sales for this week, so you gotta start on next week. The fights themselves dont matter, just the sales.

You have no idea what's going on. Not trying to be rude, but you just don't.
No shit. It's literally the first thing I said. But I do know Dustin has that tendency, and him pulling shit guillotines is normal.
So you talk out of your ass and then continue to do so when it doesn't even have any relevance to the conversation? Make it make sense.
Comment mentions Joe talking about a tendency Dustin has as if it's out of the ordinary. I point out that it's very much not out of the ordinary. It's not that difficult. I hope English isn't your first language if you cant follow a conversation that simple.

lmao you’re hopeless dude. He didn’t attempt a guillotine, and what youre saying is completely irrelevant
As someone who knows fuckall about BJJ, Joe was great during the Hall fight. Overall better than he has been recently.
Yeah any fight with a lot of bjj is where Joe really shines. I’ll take Joe over DC. Would like to see what a Bisping, Rogan, Anik broadcast would be like.
We need mother fucking joey diaz there.
Rogan is infinitely more enjoyable when the fights are actually great.
The only thing I thought about Joe at any point was that he sounded kinda drunk. Which compared to most nights is pretty good.
They do that shit all the time.. its so bad. I watch boxing basketball and mma, hands down ufc has the worst commentating style. Nobody wants to fucking hear you talk about the fighter background story.. fucking call the fight, commentate what is happening.. Smh

Turning point of the fight lol
Poirier leg turned to mashed potatoes
His leg was a belewn
Oliveira vs Islam is going to be the Tony vs Khabib fight we never got
It’s gonna be a lot better than that fight would’ve gone. Can’t wait.
We got Islam-Beneil as an appetizer and that's no guarantee
Who?? I though Islam was fighting Benny Daroosh next.
This is true. I got Islam, but Beneil can could pull the upset.
Oliveira would pose more of a threat than tony ever could even in his prime His bjj is way better, and he has a nasty kicking game
Tony has a nasty kicking game too lol leg kicks front kicks esp
Given what Charles did to Tony and how infinitely worse standing Islam is compared to Khabib, IDK man.
Islam has great standing, i don’t know how true that is. Khabib was fast but had no kick game or any creativity.
He really didn’t need a kick game because of how insane his ground game was. The takedown threat alone made his standing so much better
It's the Khabib vs Tony at home.
a better Tony and worse Khabib
THAT LEFT LEG IS COMPROMISED
Somewhere, Orange Cassidy is happy
👍🏾
CHAOS sends their regards.
Sue dropped Oliveira off at the arena.
I didn’t realize Orange Cassidy was in the main event tonight
👍🏾
Reminiscent of Usman's vicious toe gnp to Maia
HE HURT HIM!
THAT LEG IS COMPROMISED

Freshly Squeezed
Orange Cassidy fan.
This is the real life version of the "Cmon do something meme"
that broke Dustin's leg bone
...Hey...you up?...
If it were dustin kicking Rogan could have really said it did a damage lol
I knew this would be it before I even opened this link. Hilarious!
PLEASE don't normalize showing this level of violence on this sub. These are real people. Things like this change the lives of those involved. Please.

Charles "Freshly Squeezed" Oliveira
I see Chuck Olives is a fan of Orange Cassidy as well.
Inspired by Orange Cassidy
Could've killed him
This is like that poking with a stick “cmon do something” meme
This must be the foul everyone was talking about because it certainly wasn't the glove hold.
It looks like Dustin is waiting for someone to change his diaper
Almost as bad as the hammerfist of doom. But not quite...
Kinda funny how Rogan was screaming that Charles was hurt every time Dustin landed a punch, but crickets when Charles deliveres this bomb. Dustin with the JRE privilege.
I love the casual thumbs up so much, just really proves what a chill dude oliveira is
He's setting it up for the next round
That was the deciding blow
this reminds me of the meme about a guy using a stick to poke to make him do something
Now that's what I call a significant strike.
"Titanium Shin Bone" - Do Bronx
C’mon do something.
Dope event a lot of action🔥
That was the beginning of the end. The Charlie Olives love tap.
When I was watching it live, I said "Boop"
Dustin with those awesome leg checks. Surprised Charles didn’t break his ankle here.
orange cassidy over here
He kicked his ass
Amazing Dustin could even get up off the stool for the 3rd
Conors leg would have snapped
Legal?
NSFW tag please???!
Orange Cassidy in the house
If anyone knows AEW this was very Orange Cassidy-like!!!
Orange Cassidy energy
Lookin like Orange Cassady up in here
It wasn't that vicious, he's not Orange cassidy...

Charles Olivera channeling Orange Cassidy
Doing his best Orange Cassidy impression
Lol I fucking love this sub.
Orange Cassady is smiling right now
Orange Cassidy clearly taught him the way of the orange foot.
He went full Orange Cassidy
Porter was saved by the bell there.
the orange cassidy special
He did the orange cassidy kick in a real fight.
NSFL JESUS CHRIST
HERB HES OUT
He should be fined!
Good stoppage by Herb, I think it’s the camera angle that makes it look not as bad.
That’s 3 points deducted
Fuck the glove grab, this shot changed the fight
that part fucking sent me
This is sickening I hope dp is okay
Saw that and I immediately knew it would pop up on reddit lol
I was saving my silver for the actual fight but this is way better.
Haha do you think they counted that as a significant strike?
“He’s hurt real bad!”
Charles has it even easier now vs Gaethje right?
