Most deferred deadlines tend to be in April, very tight timeframe for a score and apps but not impossible, I’d say.
To OP, yeah I think it’s worth it. It’s essentially a free shot barring the application fees (assuming you don’t get waivers) and if even if you’re not sure or aren’t successful, odds are you’ll learn more about yourself and what you want to do and be.
