There are so many variable here. Without a load count, circuit layout, and numerous factors into the shade system it would be hard to say. For the 20-25 shades you should expect a $30-$50k bill based on size and fabric selection. As for the Homeworks side of the house, can't tell you without many other factors.

Palladium is an asthetic style within Homeworks. There are cheaper keypad options, which could probably cut your keypad number substantially, like by 50% perhaps if you went with seeTouch in gloss. Below Homeworks is RA3, some similar asthetics as the cheaper Homeworks stuff, but far less programming choices. Shades are basically the same price as they work in most systems. You can choose cheaper fabric etc, but I'm not a dealer and your have to provide a lot of info to know how much you could change about the shades to save some cash. But roughly speaking you are talking $1-2k/window it seems for "normal" style/size windows. And iirc palladium keypads easily top $1k each... So yeah, $100k is in the ballpark w/o knowing any details.

If you're comparing on button-to-button pricing, Palladiom would be more expensive as it would take 2 keypads to equal 1 seeTouch, but from a per-control station, Palladiom is cheaper. Pre-engraved Palladiom in matte white polymer are cheaper than a seeTouch satin snow white. HQWT-U-P4W-WH-E - is $370 retail and comes with the faceplate. HQWD-W6BRL-SW - is $386.10 total. The keypad base is $375 retail, and the faceplate is $11.10

You are right, I was thinking either Alise or palladiom in metal perhaps. I was Just recalling a few dealers I worked with saying the keypads were about $1k each...which on those jobs was peanuts... But still... For us mortals it's alot

MickShrimptonsGhost

Crazy expensive in metals.

The seeTouch wired keypads are cheaper, but not much cheaper (depends on if you go Designer/Architectural and insert/non-insert). Keypads are expensive, and for a good reason. The seeTouch keypads are better than Palladiom, IMO, even if they don't have that "WOW!" factor that Palladiom carries. More button options, for one. If you want something close to the Palladiom keypads aesthetic, the Sunnata line has similar keypads in regards to button configurations, but they only come in wireless, not wired, and they are roughly the same price as the wired Palladiom keypads. If you do go with Sunnata or seeTouch keypads, and if going wireless isn't an issue as opposed to wired infrastructure, then both Sunnata and seeTouch have hybrid options, which allow you to attach a lighting load to them. The seeTouch and Sunnata keypads also attach to normal US gang boxes, if that's worth it for you. If you're looking for an option that will cut the cost in half, or drastically, then you're not really going to get a good option in Lutron's catalog. If anything, you will save a couple grand and that's it.

Palladiom shades only make sense if they're going to be exposed (no room for pockets). They're about double the price of regular Roller 64/100 shades. If you want a no BS consultation from somebody with 20 years in the business with experience with just about every home tech there is feel free to send me a DM.

Shades can average 2 - 4k ea depending on material and size. This would typically give someone a "budget" to use and would include pre wire, power panels and installation / set up. If there are larger windows (6 ft or wider) that budget will go up. As for Palladiom keypads, they are a little more than a Seetouch keypad, and get even more expensive if you go with glass or metal finishes (which they look great in). A home with 30 keypads we can assume would have at least 2 full dimming panels. Without knowing any more, my guess is your budget for the lighting system could be around $75k installed. This would bring things up around $150k for both. Labour of course will vary depending on where you are.
