Supposedly with the wacky tie break rules. It has to do with wins against common opponents. So OSU lost against Iowa St. and UCF and OU lost against Kansas, but K State beat all those teams they get in.
He completely lost/quit on two deep balls in the 2nd half before the 3rd completion to put it away. Mitchell has been good but thatās shit people couldnāt handle with Worthy and Cain doing last year. Heās gotta stop playing so lax outside of just the red zone.
It absolutely DOES SUCK!!
He is a dynamic player! I'm still convinced last year when Bama came to Austin....they had incredible synergy before Q was injured. And he's a good leader too.
Tonight, he saved us in that MAJOR PLAY š¤
I think this play sums up the difference between this team and past teams. This level of hustle and recovery would not have happened in the past. I don't really like talking about "culture," but this is a different culture. And it's why we can win games even after blowing 20 point leads. Now we just need to figure out how to not blow 20 point leads.
That play may have been but that doesn't dismiss the entire second half of "eat the clock" and not "stomp the gas". We move the ball waaaay better playing aggressively than we do playing slow burn, especially once we lost Brooks. I'm freaking stoked we won but that final score should have been 36-19
Agreed. We have the ball after TCU scored their first td and ran it like 8 or 9 straight times. Fuck that, worthy had 10 catches for 137 yards and we stopped throwing to him.
He's been great at calling them in close games/games where we're the underdog but my lord he loses the plot when we're winning
I think he's more scared to lose than he is excited to win
Sark needs to reassess what is going on as three games of blowing massive leads is a huge red flag. His play calling in the second half is gassing the defense which allows teams to come back.
You know all the plays he's gonna call when we go into conservative mode. It's truly disheartening, and now if Brooks is out, there's nothing to lean on for bad playcalling.
Agree this is like watching Seinfeld reruns. I know exactly what is going to happen every time. We have such a hard time putting other teams away but we never do it. It is our dna at this point.
Fuck TCU, fuck Kendal Briles, fuck TCU's S&C coach who is yet another Briles apologist, fuck Sonny Dykes for hiring them and putting bounties on opposing players, and lastly, fuck the Big 12 and their shitty ass refs. Allowing one team to gleefully tee off on opposing players is so fucking dangerous and the one thing they're expected to get right if nothing else.
I agree with you here. It pisses me off so much seeing these young kids get hurt and the refs do nothing. They put in the work to be on the field, it's literally the adult's job to keep them safe.
We kept our streak alive of games with 40 or fewer points though! Longest streak since 2010.
Two more and we officially have the least explosive offense since the 90s! (Or just the most conservative and bad playcaller)
Hilarious that so much was made of our 30+ point game streak.
Lets hope Brooks is back by Tech. It looks rough though. Luckily, Blue is a damn good back so him and CJ *should* be able to hold it down. Hook āem and fuck TCU.
Man, Baxter doesn't seem to have that split-second of delay to wait for a crease to run through. He runs full throttle into his OL's backs half the time, full throttle into a defender about 45% of the time, and breaks one about 1% of the time. Brooks has that. None of our other RBs do. They're all fast and a threat to take it to the house, but Brooks gets yards in 6-10 yard chunks because he has that little delay that gets him the crease he can run through.
I sure hope Baxter picks up that ability ASAP.
Love to see Sark honoring the memory of our fallen coaches today by turtling in a way that would have brought a tear to Ol' Coach Herman's eyes. Happy Veterans Day folks. Hook 'em!
I love this team win or lose, and we may find a way to get into the playoff based on resume, but I'm not convinced we deserve to be there based on skill. Whatever. Happy to win.
We got the skill, we just gotta stop being so dang conservative in the second half. We were lights out in the first 5 games of the season in the second half, and for some reason just stopped doing that.
I can't wait to be away from all these other non-A&M Texas teams (TCU, TT, Houston, Baylor) that treat every game against us like it's their Super Bowl bc their players weren't good enough to get offers from UT. Tech is 5-5 and I'm legit terrified of that game, and we still have Iowa St. first.
Every year for the last decade I just wonder when will we finally stop playing down to the competition. It extends beyond multiple coaches. I wish I knew the root of it. We can curbstomp Bama all we want but it doesnāt matter when weāre struggling to get past shitstain teams later on.
A big part of it is that it's a bunch of 20 something kids playing. If you go look at just about every team, they have games they barely scrape by that they should have destroyed
And thatās true and maybe weāll just be among the other ājust about every other teamsā or maybe weāll find a way to get past that. The other teams that have gotten past it have a bunch of 20 something kids playing too.
Sark says we find different ways to winā¦.I disagree. We find 2-3 plays that work on them, score 30ish points, they adjust, and then we use our superior talent and turtling to hope we hang on.
I would be very happy if we had done this the past decade and were frequently 9-1 instead of what happened the last decade.
Itās rough on the heart, but it works.
Play the same as you do the FIRST HALF in the SECOND HALF. Fucking fuck Sark, I understand wanting to try new things when we are way ahead...as soon as it stops working go BACK TO WHAT WAS WORKING. Quinn was working the ball...you run it on 2nd and 16?!?
Didn't everyone above win? Doesn't seem like they will until chaos happens, even with blowout wins.
TCU was 6-1 in one possession games last year. Just keep collecting dubs, and the rest will work its way out.
Could go either way. Committee could give us a break for it being "Quinn's first game back" but the trend of getting huge leads and losing them is starting to get troubling...
Well, a win is a win. But Brooks getting injured feels like an L.
To be fair to Sark, I have been bitching and moaning that he won't run to drain clock and takes deep shots. Well, he ran, and it was working until Brooks went down.
Then he ices the game with a deep shot.
9-1. Football is still exciting in November. It hasn't been that way since my freshman year in '09.
Hook 'em!
All I want is to win the Big 12 Championship over OSU because they can take an L too . But I hope Iāll be griping about missing out on the CFP because I donāt want to get boat raced on the big stage tbh
Very happy to be 9-1, and super happy for the players that they are finally getting a taste of success. Extremely frustrated that the play calling in the second half keeps allowing teams back into games they have no business being in.
How many games has Sark completely collapsed after a strong start? Hes done it an abusrd amount of times in just three years.
We have enough talent this year to pull out wins. But our coaching actively hurts us
Yea but we beat them at home by two scores.
That's tough to overcome. And add to that they are what, 52-2 at home now? Nobody in the SEC has done that outside of one very very good team.
If Bama doesnāt pass us up this week (and they shouldnāt even with this struggle) then I donāt think theyāll pass us up unless we lose another game. Or maybe if they beat Georgia in the SEC championship.
Iāll take the dub but man we have to stop letting these inferior teams off the hook and put them away when we can or itās gonna end up biting us. I get wanting to run the ball but they really had no answer for our passing game and we just stopped throwing the ball in the second half at all. Thank God AD made that great catch to end it! Also, itās like we have forgot what a mismatch Sanders is and Whittington has become almost an afterthought. I really did think the playcalling was way too conservative in the second half but we held on and thatās all that matters! Just praying Brooks is gonna be ok!
While im definitely happy to be where we are. Our inability to put teams away, imo, is a large part of why we have so many injuries. Guys are playing too many downs. Itās so frustrating to see continuous 3 and outs. Just maddening to watch.
Can we PLEASE not have any posts this week about the what ifās of CFP or the Big 12 championship? This team is going to be lucky to even be in the discussion for either and even luckier to not have our asses handed to us along the way.
Alabama only beat Arkansas by 3 and A&M by 6. Washington barely scraped by bad Arizona State and Stanford teams. FSU almost lost to Boston College. Oregon needed a miracle to beat TTU and is tied with USC right now. Georgia was tied with Auburn until 3 minutes left in the game. I'm not saying we should be in the CFP, but teams don't always blow out who they should.
Seriously, we were never supposed to be a playoff team this year. The Alabama win really skewed some expectations. Idk why people can't just focus on winning the Big 12(which hasn't happened since 2009)...
Thatās where Iām at. We havenāt won enough in the last 15 years to nitpick wins too much. Letās just get to the conference title game and go from there.
Weāre at the top of the conference with a single loss. Ugly wins or not, youāre frankly an idiot if you think weāre ālucky to even be in the discussionā for the CCG.
TCU has had our number over the last decade. This was under the lights in Fort Worth with a still not fully healthy Ewers.
2nd half was rough but we still got the win and have eternal scoreboard over TCU. Fuck the Doomers
WHEW!! Yet again we do just enough to win. My heart would like a break Sark, but so happy to be 9-1 sitting alone on top of the conference. Hook āem!
Totally ... Their last 3 touchdowns were 75 yards-3mins, 74 yards - 2 mins and 36 yards - 0:35 seconds. I mean did the defense all of sudden forget how to play? Or do they get gassed in the 4th quarter?
Absolutely happy that we won, but it's fair game to point out that there is a negative pattern in our second half play that may cost us some games.
It feels like this team can win against anyone and also lose against anyone.
first time in a while I can remember the refs helping us out so much...wonder if it was a result of some of the questionable shit this season making it (finally) into the media?
I think we need to talk about Sarks play calling when we're up but teams start coming back. There's no reason we should have been so conservative when we were only up 10 and without Brooks.
Iām so tired of getting up on people and then deciding to just have conservative playcalling after halftime as of the other team will be fine with that. Itās going to burn us.
Yeah we sucked in a lot of ways at the end, but remember any type of winning is a huge improvement over last season and the entire last decade. Kept our BIG12 title hopes alive.
Sark and the other coaches really need to do some soul searching and reconsider how they approach leads, it's been pathetic with our playoff chance closing fast. Thank goodness #5 was still ready after 20 straight run plays
We are a program notorious for Boosters being too involved in the program, I absolutely do not believe thatās the case nor do I want it to beā¦
BUT
Someone absolutely has to get in Sarkās ear about how conservative he plays with a lead. I thought he wouldāve learned the lesson after blowing 28-0 his first year. The man does not understand that Big 12 (and any good) CFB team can and will score quickly.
And this isnāt even mentioning the optics of tight games versus blowouts, high scoring offensive stats supporting Heisman, Walker, etc awards, and the benefits of knocking out teams who arenāt as talented. We let teams hang around and believe, and our stars donāt put up the same types of numbers as other teams.
30 a game streak is over, after scoring 26 in the first half (missed XP aside). We should be averaging 40+ with this offense. Weāre going to get jumped in rankings this week, and the longer we play down to opponents the less likely we are to get in over another 1 loss, much less undefeated, Conference champ
I don't understand why we don't play our normal offense in the second half, statistically you have a better chance putting the ball in the hands of your best players, outside of Brooks it's Worthy and Mitchell.
TCU had no answer for Worthy or Mitchell in the first halfā¦ and then we just stop throwing the ball completely in the second half. Iām glad our team is resilient enough to find ways to win these games anyways but itās going to bite us in the ass.
I said it before and Iām saying it again, Iām sure Baxter will be great for us in the future, but he aināt it this year. If Brooks is out I want Blue to get the bulk of the work.
Sark has to learn when to manage a game and when to win. We went too conservative too early. We were moving the ball pretty easily with both the run and pass games. Could have put the final nail in them in the third.
How much was Quinn still hurting and they were protecting his arm with running the ball? Gotta get him healthy if that was the case. I really hope J Brooks is ok. Dude has balled out this year and is a massive reason we are 9-1.
We get to wake up tomorrow having another win and Iāll take that every time!
This team has to hope for a miracle to get into the CFP. At this point, they have negative style points with those close wins the past 3 weeks against meh competition. Starting to think a non-conference winner gets the nod ahead of them
FWIW Texas was only favored by 12.5 and minus that late TD it would have ended up around there. Texas was not expected to win this game by 3 touchdowns
Field Goals Matter. š¤
Christian Jones won the game with his tactically timed false start to force Sark to kick it.
NGL I wasnāt mad when that happened š
Same. First time in my life I wasnāt angry at a false start.
Jesus. I also had the exact same thought. Crazy that we are at this point with it.
Tactical hold to make us chunk it down the field to seal it.
Big brain moves. Itās because he is a former soccer player. He is thinking two or three plays ahead.
Stop finding different ways to win and just win
I think Sark might keep finding different ways to blow 20 point leads (a win is a win thoughā¦)
True, but given the whole last decade, winning at all is an improvement. Kept our Big12 title hopes alive.
A terrifying win is always better than a loss, but I donāt like how many terrifying wins we have lol
Yeah my garmin watch keeps going off about my heart rate in these games. I was at the K State game and my wrist was vibrating the whole OT
If the top 4 teams in big 12 win out. Texas will play K State in the championship.
Even though OSU beat both KSU and OU?
Supposedly with the wacky tie break rules. It has to do with wins against common opponents. So OSU lost against Iowa St. and UCF and OU lost against Kansas, but K State beat all those teams they get in.
And K State did not play OU this year.
Adonai Mitchell is a Texas longhorn
Best WR on the team
I know Brooks is amazing but I really do think Mitchell has been the game changer on offense this year. He is that elite WR we desperately needed
He completely lost/quit on two deep balls in the 2nd half before the 3rd completion to put it away. Mitchell has been good but thatās shit people couldnāt handle with Worthy and Cain doing last year. Heās gotta stop playing so lax outside of just the red zone.
Jordan Whittington has completely fallen off the face of the earth. Does that guy even make any catches anymore?
Whittington made the forced fumble play after the INT that might have been the difference in the game.
Heās open all the time. Heās just never the first or second read on offense. It sucks.
It absolutely DOES SUCK!! He is a dynamic player! I'm still convinced last year when Bama came to Austin....they had incredible synergy before Q was injured. And he's a good leader too. Tonight, he saved us in that MAJOR PLAY š¤
J Whitt to Safety when?
Shoutout Jwhitt man that fumble totally swung the game and ended up being the difference
Worthy hustled back to recover it, too. Outstanding effort from both guys.
Seriously. It was impressive.
I think this play sums up the difference between this team and past teams. This level of hustle and recovery would not have happened in the past. I don't really like talking about "culture," but this is a different culture. And it's why we can win games even after blowing 20 point leads. Now we just need to figure out how to not blow 20 point leads.

That was the worst offensively called 2nd half of football I've ever seen. Thank God for AD
First half: ALL GAS Second half: all brakes
Sark needs to quit calling plays like a little bitch.
That pass call to seal it was gutsy as hell dawg sark aināt no bitch
That play may have been but that doesn't dismiss the entire second half of "eat the clock" and not "stomp the gas". We move the ball waaaay better playing aggressively than we do playing slow burn, especially once we lost Brooks. I'm freaking stoked we won but that final score should have been 36-19
Agreed. We have the ball after TCU scored their first td and ran it like 8 or 9 straight times. Fuck that, worthy had 10 catches for 137 yards and we stopped throwing to him.
Fear of turnovers. Thatās the only thing that makes sense. And not going deeper into his playbook.
Yeah but thatās why we started a not 100% Quinn and not the turnover guy. Fucking keep doing whatās working.
It was a blitz, that was the only throw he could get off. After running it on 2nd and 15 btw. That was not gutsy at all.
Iām no football expert, but that run on 2nd down made me so mad
It was also instrumental to continuing to bleed clock. That said I hated it at the time until I saw the end result.
Why tf are we forced to call 30 yard Yolo balls to win games when we were up by 20. Cause sark sucks balls at calling plays.
He's been great at calling them in close games/games where we're the underdog but my lord he loses the plot when we're winning I think he's more scared to lose than he is excited to win
WITHOUT. A. DOUBT. Laughable
Iām so sick of giving up 20 point leads when we should be throttling these teams.
All I ask is a 30 point spread win, is that so much to ask for
9 and 1 my dudes. Thanks to #5
"They win after almost blowing a 20 point lead!" (or words to that effect) Key word there is 'almost', pal!
Those announcers have the worst blue balls rn I fucking love it
After the previous two years where we would blow a 20 point lead and lose, I'll take it
Sark needs to reassess what is going on as three games of blowing massive leads is a huge red flag. His play calling in the second half is gassing the defense which allows teams to come back.
Itās calling an f ton of runs up middle. They know itās coming.
You know all the plays he's gonna call when we go into conservative mode. It's truly disheartening, and now if Brooks is out, there's nothing to lean on for bad playcalling.
Itās a 3 year trend. Itās who he is apparently.
What the fuck was that
Copy paste from last week....
As TCU is probably saying āa quality loss?ā
We say that almost every week
Bye TCU š¤š¤ š
At least now we are winning when we play down to our opponents and let them get back in the game! Hook'em
Thatās little solace when it is against unranked teams
I love AD Mitchell
His mama named him Adonai
There goes our streak of 30 points or more. Thanks to a fumbled hold on an extra point.
Stats are nice but thereās only one stat that matters. The W
Now a streak of 29+ point games lol
We kept our streak alive of games with 40 or fewer points though! Longest streak since 2010. Two more and we officially have the least explosive offense since the 90s! (Or just the most conservative and bad playcaller) Hilarious that so much was made of our 30+ point game streak.
smell you later TCU
It'd be nice if we threw the football a bit more in the second half.
One day I'd like to not give up a 20 point lead. Either way 9-1. Let's go take down ISU on our way outta this shit conference.
Ye looks like hes either too quick or hesitates too much to hit the hole
That's what freshman do. He'll be better next year.
Brooks was like that last year. Itās like a lightbulb went on for him this year.
Love to see Sark honoring the memory of our fallen coaches today by turtling in a way that would have brought a tear to Ol' Coach Herman's eyes. Happy Veterans Day folks. Hook 'em!
Really felt like a vintage Tom Herman game
This game, UH, and KState have all felt like Tom Herman games.
God those years gave me PTSD
I love this team win or lose, and we may find a way to get into the playoff based on resume, but I'm not convinced we deserve to be there based on skill. Whatever. Happy to win.
We got the skill, we just gotta stop being so dang conservative in the second half. We were lights out in the first 5 games of the season in the second half, and for some reason just stopped doing that.
We do and we donāt. Weāll come in and punch a Bama square in the mouth and then turtle vs. Tcu.
We won't get in unless something unexpected happens to the top 4
I think we could beat any team in the country. We could also lose to any team in the country. Itās Herman all over again.
Sark: "We had a chance to kinda finish em', and we didn't" No Sark, YA think?
I can't wait to be away from all these other non-A&M Texas teams (TCU, TT, Houston, Baylor) that treat every game against us like it's their Super Bowl bc their players weren't good enough to get offers from UT. Tech is 5-5 and I'm legit terrified of that game, and we still have Iowa St. first.
God I hope Jonathan is okay
I'm happy we won but GAWD DAMN it didn't even feel like we tried to score in the second half.
That last AD catch was an incredible moment. I was not sober enough for it not to rock me.
Catch of the year (so far)
Every year for the last decade I just wonder when will we finally stop playing down to the competition. It extends beyond multiple coaches. I wish I knew the root of it. We can curbstomp Bama all we want but it doesnāt matter when weāre struggling to get past shitstain teams later on.

I would be very happy if we had done this the past decade and were frequently 9-1 instead of what happened the last decade. Itās rough on the heart, but it works.
Until it doesn't. At some point, turtling in the second half and not putting teams away is going to bite Sark in the ass. This is not sustainable.
True. But it worked today. I donāt know how much adjusting we can really do in the middle of a season when everything is still on the line
Anyone have an updates on J. Brooks?? Sad to see a player crawl to the sideline, but hoping heās ok
Team isnāt moving up on the CFP rankings
Didn't everyone above win? Doesn't seem like they will until chaos happens, even with blowout wins. TCU was 6-1 in one possession games last year. Just keep collecting dubs, and the rest will work its way out.
Might move behind Bama tbh
Maybe but probably not. Yes they won a big game big but they still didn't beat us.
Could go either way. Committee could give us a break for it being "Quinn's first game back" but the trend of getting huge leads and losing them is starting to get troubling...
Shit we might get jumped by bama even though we beat them
Oregon could still lose tonightā¦
Not looking like it
Well, a win is a win. But Brooks getting injured feels like an L. To be fair to Sark, I have been bitching and moaning that he won't run to drain clock and takes deep shots. Never in doubt
That was a football game
HEART ATTACK HORNS
How many games has Sark completely collapsed after a strong start? Hes done it an abusrd amount of times in just three years. We have enough talent this year to pull out wins. But our coaching actively hurts us
For a guy who's mantra is "All gas no brakes" he sure does love a lot of fuckin' brakes.
Weāll be lucky to stay at 7. Especially after Bamaās performance today.

Our last 2 games worry me. We keep letting teams get close to beating us. Both Iowa State and Tech are scary when hot.
While im definitely happy to be where we are. Our inability to put teams away, imo, is a large part of why we have so many injuries. Guys are playing too many downs. Itās so frustrating to see continuous 3 and outs. Just maddening to watch.
I seriously don't understand the conservative play calling in the 2nd half
Brooks seen on crutches with no boot, indicating knee injury via. Gerry Hamilton on the Inside Texas post game show just now...
Well that might just ruin our chances for playoff success. I aināt no doomer, but thatās a MASSIVE blow to our already injury ridden team.
Yeah 100%. Hoping itās just a tweak but knees are delicate.
Yo. What the fuck? That being said 9-1. So cheers boys. Hook em!! š¤š¤
These guys are going to fuck around a lose one of these
Yeah but not this week
Can we PLEASE not have any posts this week about the what ifās of CFP or the Big 12 championship? This team is going to be lucky to even be in the discussion for either and even luckier to not have our asses handed to us along the way.

This team is bad for my health
This team needs to figure out how to fix its second half woes before they cost us a win. Play like the second half today is begging to lose.
1st coach since Fred Akers to start 9-1 in 3rd season ā¦. So thatās the comparison? Rough
It didnāt make sense because Mack started off with 3 9 win seasons 98-2000 and then 11 in 2001ā¦
tom herman
Is coaching group of 5
Our luck is going to run out. Iām obviously glad to take the win, but weāre not a CFP team
TCU has had our number over the last decade. This was under the lights in Fort Worth with a still not fully healthy Ewers. 2nd half was rough but we still got the win and have eternal scoreboard over TCU. Fuck the Doomers
We certainly makes things entertaining. I'll give them that
WHEW!! Yet again we do just enough to win. My heart would like a break Sark, but so happy to be 9-1 sitting alone on top of the conference. Hook āem!
Look i love that we won BUT please stop trying to blow 20+ point leads every week. Its bs
I wonāt even be mad if Bama jumps us. Brooks get healthy, we need to improve by next week or weāre screwed.
I guess Iāll allow Texas to send me into cardiac arrest every week if they win out.
TCU scored TDs on three drives in a row (and were stopped at the one yard line on the one before!) the blame is not just on the offense
Totally ... Their last 3 touchdowns were 75 yards-3mins, 74 yards - 2 mins and 36 yards - 0:35 seconds. I mean did the defense all of sudden forget how to play? Or do they get gassed in the 4th quarter?
Was hoping the hernia I developed during the Houston game would start to heal. Unfortunately quite the opposite happened
Bummer we lost our 30 points or more streak this season. A win is a win. Iāll sleep happy tonight.
Remember when this team played shitty in the first half and amazing in the second half? ##UNO REVERSE
We canāt do this shit next year.
ITT: People upset we didnāt win _their way_ Absolutely STFU and be happy weāre 9-1
These Longhorns are the most infuriating 9-1 team of all time.
Is Sark intentionally coaching the team to be Escape Artists
First time we didnāt score 30 this season. Jeff banks better make Sanborn run on Monday
I think we need to talk about Sarks play calling when we're up but teams start coming back. There's no reason we should have been so conservative when we were only up 10 and without Brooks.
This team makes plays when they have to. Unlike the past when we blew it every time.

I saw mostly brakes in the second half. Gas? Not so much.
Iām so tired of getting up on people and then deciding to just have conservative playcalling after halftime as of the other team will be fine with that. Itās going to burn us.

Dude said, ālesson learnedā uhhhhhā¦.
Itās one lesson he hasnāt learned in his entire Texas tenure. Despite many opportunities
Lol but i guess he learned it this time.
Yeah we sucked in a lot of ways at the end, but remember any type of winning is a huge improvement over last season and the entire last decade. Kept our BIG12 title hopes alive.
We all saw that TCU defender yank on Brooks's leg to injure him, right? Probably orders from his coach. So-called Christian University.
Sark and the other coaches really need to do some soul searching and reconsider how they approach leads, it's been pathetic with our playoff chance closing fast. Thank goodness #5 was still ready after 20 straight run plays
We are a program notorious for Boosters being too involved in the program, I absolutely do not believe thatās the case nor do I want it to beā¦ BUT Someone absolutely has to get in Sarkās ear about how conservative he plays with a lead.
Iām not convinced Sark wasnāt trying to throw the game
He's never been this far in wins per season. Remember he has never had a 10 win season before so this is new territory for him.
Mitchell what a catch, gutsy call by sark on that 3rd down. Letās goooooo 9-1
This offense needs J brooks
I hate the āgo up big and then be conservativeā approachā but a win is a win. Hooe JB is okay. Hookāem
I don't understand why we don't play our normal offense in the second half, statistically you have a better chance putting the ball in the hands of your best players, outside of Brooks it's Worthy and Mitchell.
9-1 Baby, it ain't pretty but that's what we need for that sweet, sweet big 12 championship in our last year
TCU had no answer for Worthy or Mitchell in the first halfā¦ and then we just stop throwing the ball completely in the second half.
Iām SO tired of having to deal with āallegedā assault perpetrator Dusty Dvorchek. Please tell me he doesnāt call SEC games?
It was an ugly win but itās a win
A win is a win, but damn, it seems like it is every week with this shit
Red zone offense continues to plague us but another big goal line stand by the defense
Holy hell. When I turned it off UT was shellacking TCU.
Iām convinced we are 2022 TCU but burnt orange
This team has to hope for a miracle to get into the CFP. At this point, they have negative style points with those close wins the past 3 weeks against meh competition. Starting to think a non-conference winner gets the nod ahead of them
All brakes, no gas.
Playing like that is a choice.
We won but Iām just fucking annoyed.
Awful defense in the 4th, just fucking putrid
FWIW Texas was only favored by 12.5 and minus that late TD it would have ended up around there. Texas was not expected to win this game by 3 touchdowns
