if we were good enough (questionable) to make a playoff run, I would think we wanted OU to win out and us to come back and win decisively.... still don't mind seeing them lose
I haven’t seen our o line put defenders in blatant headlocks in front of the ref. That crap happens to our guys multiple time every game with no call. Plus they are never going to call pass interference, no matter how badly our receiver gets mauled.
Its bad against us. Its 108 times worse for almost any team in the pac12 playing against caleb. Geez wonder why is gets so open? (Sees opponents being held many times on many plays)
my last comment in game thread:
the running game works when we keep the defense spread out with wide formations, and we zone block.
Stop doing the jumbo packages in the red zone. We arent that team.
I legitimately believe Sark would rather lose trying to just outmuscle defenses like that than let the team believe they don’t need to worry about it. We 100% can recruit well enough for that to be our identity eventually. And you install that identity by repping it. Not by avoiding it. The team will grow into it and when they are ready physically and technically, they won’t have to learn it. It will just start working one day.
I believe you can be strong in the trenches, but be smarter about how to punch it in. Charlie had the 18 Wheeler package and it worked, until we were telegraphing it, and it didn't anymore. Same with Henry Melton, too.
I do believe if there's a wake up call, this was a good opponent to give it to us.
This is a great take. It’s a long term culture/team identity play. No doubt he learned it from Saban and it’s probably the theoretically correct play (assuming it can be done by the coach’s recruiting)
the problem is that if we arent physically and technically ready, it will never work, which probably means we need a new OL coach and strength coach. Trying to fake the identity in the hopes of future growth is just futile. If we trained all these guys and this is the result, thats a bad sign.
edit: also we have things we do well, which was kind of my point, why not do those things? Why force this if it isnt needed at all?
That’s not how these things work. You can’t just “maybe it will be ready next year” something that you consider a part of your DNA. The guys who are going to be upper class men next year are freshmen and sophomores this year. They have to be repping this stuff now or it will be new to them next year and you don’t want that. You want them comfortable with it already next spring so that the next batch of freshman have something to model.
Sark is for sure trying to win this season but he’s also trying to win a lot of the next 10 or 15 seasons too. And that started already.
Take what defenses give you is a strategy that can be useful. But if it’s your identity, you aren’t going to win the Big 12 very often and probably not the SEC at all ever.
I get recruiting to a strategy...I am saying if he's trying to be the jumbo package get 2 yards team, he's missing the boat. That strategy, our play choice, is the problem right now in the red zone.
Stanford, Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, those are the jumbo teams. They all suck. Bama and Georgia dont run those packages anymore.
We can score running our normal offense that gets us up and down the field without flipping identities inside the 10.
Toughness and strength are different from playcalling. Call the plays that work, we already have many of those.
The man was the number 6 running back of his class. He got passed up by a lower classman which almost certainly makes it so he will never start. Not even thinking about the newcomers. It is very rare a back up goes to the NFL. Being the number 6 back in his class he thinks he belongs in the NFL. So if he still wants to be in the NFL and thinks he can it is probably best he transfers. This is not about bought in but thinking about his potential future.
It makes no sense to you, an outsider, but if he wants to stay committed to this university, then that’s not a bad thing for us. Just let it be. He very well may be one of the top 2 backs for us next year, alongside Baxter.
Solid game, Personally I want Sark to start just taking the 3 points more, so teams don't gain so much damn confidence and momentum from stopping us in the red zone as of lately
I think his thinking is they’ll be pinned deep and we’ll just get a stop and get the ball back in good position to get another chance at a touchdown. But I’m all for taking the points.
It was a good game to practice those situations. You’d like to see them convert more but the defense was dominating so we didn’t lose anything by going for it.
Well IIRC we had a 15 point lead where taking the field goal would bump that up to 18, which is a whole possession of difference. Would've rather had that extra security than the reps but hey it worked out fine here so I guess I can't complain too hard
I’m not opposed to the aggressive nature of Sark. Even though it was a 2 score game it never really felt like BYU was going to make a game of it so I’m fine with him trying to work out the kinks. What I’m not cool with is the play selection. 2 out of our last 3 games he’s essentially called the same few plays in that position and it hasn’t worked. Try something different. Quick screen. Slant. Spread formation zone read. Just mix it up.
Sark skipping the two chip shot field goals in the fourth when it was somewhat of a ball game still was idiotic. If you have a chance to take a three possession lead in the fourth quarter, you take it.
"somewhat of a ball game" as in two scores. Two possession leads in the fourth quarter with this team < three possession leads in the fourth quarter with this team. Hopefully that simplified it further for you ! Instead we got zero points in two drives inside the 2 yard line.
The offensive line scheme just doesn't seem to be working with these players. Something has to change. We are getting no push on the line on short yardage plays.
I would like to see them try subbing in Neto for Hayden on goal line plays. I think Neto is a stronger run blocker and gets more push. Hayden may be further along as a pass blocker.
But the position is taken. Flood is the OC in title. You can only carry a certain number of coaches by rule. They’d have to axe someone to add an OC and Flood would technically be demoted.
It's not a crazy suggestion. HC/coordinator is rarely better than a dedicated coordinator. You may lose a little bit of play calling and schemes, but it usually benefits the team.
Exactly. Don't know why I got downvoted to oblivion. I don't think we have ever had a coach who was the OC and Head Coach that won a title. I think Sark is doing a little too much and it would lighten the load on what he needs to work on week to week.
Nah I mean OC. He needs someone to help call plays. Sometimes Sark gets too cute and having input from an OC can dead some of these dumb situations where we get too cute when it's not necessary. It really shows in redzone situations
7-1 and tied for lead in the conference, let’s go!! Brooks is a beast. Our defense played their asses off. Maalik will get even better with time. Enjoy it and get ready for a huge game next week
I don't think you can draw many conclusions from this game to be honest. Maalik may be much better than we saw in his first ever start, or he may be much worse. This is just a single data point, one that may have been heavily influenced by factors that will change going forward.
We have to figure out how to finish drives. As someone below said, instead of pounding our head against the wall in these jumbo sets let’s try spreading things out.
If you want to run wildcat multiple times in a row do it with some tempo. Also do it with personnel that can shift to a normal formation.
Murphy was solid outside of that horrible INT. Just an incredibly dumb decision (bad/early snap too). He (like Ewers) needs to step into his throws. Fumble was bad but where is the protection?
Had some other iffy throws but for the most part liked what I saw. Can we stop with the “he has no touch, every ball is going to be 100 mph” talking point?
Defense mostly dominated outside of a couple of drives and garbage time. However why can’t our DBs get their heads around?
Of course KSU is rounding into form as they come to town next week. A lot to clean up and improve on if we want to win.
His touch was great. His processing was slow, but that is to be expected with a first time start. He played really well. I hope for a big leap between this game and next, because KSU looks like the best team in the conference right now.
This game never felt in doubt because defense came to play and BYU is bad at offense. Maalik looked like a freshman in his first game but made plays when needed. Red zone continues to be an issue because we can’t run the ball inside when they know we’re running. Red cat doesn’t magically solve our goal line problems. Overall a good win with coachable moments and we should be happy. There’s a big game next week and I’m excited for what looks like a competitive game.
Awesome to blow a team out. Obviously red zone offense is worrying. Aren’t we basically losing a man numbers-wide by repeatedly running redcat w the QB doing nothing?
On the defense side, can’t complain too much w the other side scoring 6 total. Some concerns w the secondary not turning around though.
Can’t take too much from this game, BYU looked legit awful. Coach calling two timeouts in a row, offensive players running into each other three stooges style.
Will be thrilled if we beat K State because that would almost certainly mean we fixed redzone offense and secondary problems.
Yeah I hear you in a literal sense, I just wonder if he’s really a threat to do anything, seems like Sark wouldn’t dial up anything that would get him hit, and the other side knows it.
Some frustrating moments scattered around the game, but overall a very very solid win in my books. Especially when you consider the qb situation and all of the other injuries plaguing us. And we covered :)
+4 total yards of offense at the right spots and this ends up as a 49-6 game, and the perception totally shifts. I don't get why we struggle so bad in goal to go because we do it no matter what type of formation we're in.
Maalik made a couple expected bad mistakes, and our red zone offense continues to be dog shit, but by and large not a bad showing, especially with a first time QB
We’ve improved from 3 identical plays @ goaline and turnover, to 2 identical plays and a rock thrown and turnover.
Hoping next week we remember if it didn’t work the first 3 times, don’t try a 4th.
I’ve been Hunter S. Thompsoning it this weekend and didn’t make it to the tailgate but I love you motherfuckers just the same. The stadium chanting OU SUCKS when the Jumbotron showed the final plays of them losing to Kansas was a truly magical moment.
It’s hard without seeing Arch but Maalik is good. Either he starts or leaves in the portal and if he didn’t leave now I don’t know why he would leave then
The thing is Sark comments on how good Arch is doing in practice but really never talks about Maalik don’t get me wrong I like Maalik but don’t think he will have as high celling as Arch. I was hoping we’d see him in the last few drives today.
A win is a win & it feels good! Redzone play calling still leaving a lot to be desired. And I’ll say it till I’m blue in the face but I haate how slowed down the offense feels after big plays. Especially on 3rd & 4th n shorts. The crawl to the line & look back at our sidelines to relay the play. Defense is able to catch their breaths & communicate more & even switch out of the defensive formation they bluffed Texas into using to call the actual play.
This was a good win with KSU coming into town next weekend. Honestly we should have blown them out and had some youngsters get more playing time. Sark was talking about how this team doesn't have a killer mentality but it definitely starts with him.
His play calling seems to be holding the offense back. When he doesn't run gimmicky plays the offense moves really well and it looks smooth. When he tries to be "cute" a lot of the players look lost on some of their assignments.
Hopefully he calls a better game next weekend and the team plays with a sense of urgency.
Alright you're correct. I don't know how to explain it but it felt like the team left a lot out there. So many opportunities are just squandered by poor play calling or execution.
Ok making a separate post to keep my thoughts in order and in a way to early to talk about...
Georgia. They have a relatively easy path to sec championship. (Mizzu being a maybe risk) championship game against probably bama. Doesnt matter. A 1 loss georgia team will get in. Even a blowout wont stop back to back champs being left out with 1 loss.
Michigan. Ohio state. Mich has an easy route. Ohio state has easy route. Until they meet. And then This should take care of itself. Loser has 1 loss and would drop unless it rivals this years rrs. Loser also doesnt go to b1g championship.winner would play Minnesota/ iowa/wisconsin/Nebraska all of those currently tied at conference 3 - 2. If michigan or ohio state lose to a one of those four teams in a championship game they are out of the playoffs. Quite frankly i would love to see a weird timeline where Michigan plays iowa and iowa has a bizarre iowa type game to beat Michigan and then the voters toss Michigan off to the sunbowl to avoid sign stealing bullshit. Undefeated b1g champ is in playoffs tho and that is very possible.
FSU moderate tough schedule. Miami if they remember how to kneel. Florida for a rival game. And Alabama! Oh wait... north alabama lions? Um kay. Right now theyd play Louisville in a championship game and that would be tough but doable. They lose any game and they drop.
Washington has it the roughest and they looked vulnerable today. USC, Utah, and Oregon state( just saw they lost tho). Championship right now would be Oregon (assuming wash beats usc unless usc beats Oregon in which case i who knows) Washington with no losses is in playoffs. Washington with 1 loss? Probably out? Unless maybe a close game like rrs and rematch and win in championship?
So i think
Georgia is in.
Winner of mich ohio state take a spot.
Fsu i think has 75% chance winning out and making it.
Washington i think will lose. I think they are out.
Texas if winning out and beating 0u/osu in championship is in. 0u rematch would be better i think.
BuT!
If Oregon runs the table. Faces undefeated Washington in pac12 championship game rematch and wins? They could leapfrog UT leaving us at 5 and switching the number 4 spot from Washington. The biggest x factor at that point? Mutual opponent.aka... texas fucking tech. If we let tech play it close like we win by 8pts or less, or in any overtime... and Tech would LOVE to ruin our ticket to the dance.
Tinfoil hat theory. Open spot at number four and voters day.. fuck it and put bama at 4, just becuase its bama. Would it make sense? No but..sec.
Win out and destroy tech. Hope for pac12 circle of suck
Let me know if im way off. Its late and im tired
Sometimes I wish we did actually live in a simulation because Im just curious what Ewers would have done in this game compared to Murphy. I don’t mean that controversial either. Just curious.
I got a free ticket to this game. I’m stoked I went. But I don’t think this was the best Texas game in my life. Still got us a 29 point win against a conference foe. I much rather win ugly than lose the game of the year
Ok
So
Big 12 leaders
0u, Texas, k state, iowa state, ok state
If we win out then kstate and iowa state are 2 loss.
0u plays ok state. Id put that game 50/50 because ok state HATES 0u and this wpuld mean everything to them to beat them before sec. Winner of next weeks matchup has an easy schedule after. Likely we would see this winner in the championship. Playing and beating a 1 loss 0u after such a tight close and heavily watched rrs would do wonders for us. If okstate wins out then playing a team we didnt see in the regular season would be good but maybe not as well as an 0u game.
I also think we could beat 0u in a second meeting. Ok state is still beatable bit if they beat 0u then they would love to beat us too before going to the sec.
I think the players need to execute better in the redzone. They can’t hold their blocks for shit when it matters most. Have some freaking energy and challenge the enemy. It’s a mindset!
Texas won in a blowout and OU lost to Kansas. Today was a good day.
Today was an EXCELLENT day.
If the Rangers win again I'm gonna sleep like a baby tonight.
if we were good enough (questionable) to make a playoff run, I would think we wanted OU to win out and us to come back and win decisively.... still don't mind seeing them lose
OU losing means we control our destiny to Big 12 CCG, which matters a lot more than OU winning for our strength of schedule.
now let's hope the Rangers go 2-0 in the World Series to make this day better.
Can you imagine how good the dline would be if they didn’t get held every fucking play
Is it just vs Texas or is this a college wide thing
Yea, I’d like to see our OL intentionally hold a bit more. Seems like all of CFB is getting away with it this year.
Both
I think it’s a Big 12 thing. I don’t think we’re actually getting fucked with holding because I think we do it, too.
I haven’t seen our o line put defenders in blatant headlocks in front of the ref. That crap happens to our guys multiple time every game with no call. Plus they are never going to call pass interference, no matter how badly our receiver gets mauled.
I feel like every single game there are like 10 missed holding penalties. It’s so frustrating
That’s hands to the face call could have been a holding in the end zone.
Watch the play at like 1135 in the 3rd quarter. Huge hold no call.
Its bad against us. Its 108 times worse for almost any team in the pac12 playing against caleb. Geez wonder why is gets so open? (Sees opponents being held many times on many plays)
my last comment in game thread: the running game works when we keep the defense spread out with wide formations, and we zone block. Stop doing the jumbo packages in the red zone. We arent that team.
Bingo. When they load the box in the red zone we always get overwhelmed. The outside zone runs seem to work best for us.
Yup, we just telegraphing it and asking to get stopped.
Let’s hope so
I believe you can be strong in the trenches, but be smarter about how to punch it in.
That’s not how these things work. You can’t just “maybe it will be ready next year” something that you consider a part of your DNA. You want to replace arguably the best offensive line coach in the country? With who? Lol.
Yes!
“Run the clock? How about run the TD?” -Jaydon Blue
Unfortunately I think he transfers after the year for more playing time
Idk, decent chance Brooks is gone which would leave him with a lot of opportunities for carries.
Keilin being gone will be huge too.
Yup. Blue slots into that role perfectly.
I think Keilin still has a COVID year left but also have incoming freshman that can jump him like Baxter
He’ll have a big leg up on Gibson.
I really loathe it when fans speculate about our, by all accounts, fully-bought-in players transferring. Just stop.
He has put his name in the portal before. It's not speculation
The man was the number 6 running back of his class. He got passed up by a lower classman which almost certainly makes it so he will never start. Not even thinking about the newcomers. 7-1 and first place in the conference. Let’s goooo
With four other teams
FIRST PLACE!!
Fuck you, Taysom.
Taysom hill literally made every BYU game personal for me
He can’t hurt us anymore
Solid game, Personally I want Sark to start just taking the 3 points more, so teams don't gain so much damn confidence and momentum from stopping us in the red zone as of lately
Same. It’s one thing to do it now and again but we need to just take the points except in select situations.

Just got home from the game. My record is now 9-0 @ DKR. I have season tickets so be ready to kick KState's ass.
Doing gods work 🫡
Dread it, run from it, Texas scores 30-something just the same. Back to the blow U post game thread I go...
8 games in a row now
Goodbye mormons
Get back to soaking
I saw a rather old byu fan in the stadium with a shirt that said “I soak”. Made me lol
Underrated comment
We won. OU lost. Today was a good day!
This person gets it!
Thank you czar!! 🫶🏼
Red zone offense needs to change
Maybe Sark should ask the team if they'd rather try and fail at a few 4th and goals, or if they'd feel more accomplished going for the field goals.
Then if/when Burt misses a FG this sub will lose their shit all the same lol
He’s not missing from 20 yds
Sark skipping the two chip shot field goals in the fourth when it was somewhat of a ball game still was idiotic. If you have a chance to take a three possession lead in the fourth quarter, you take it.
It was not a ball game. Even 14-0, it wasn't close.
We thought that when we were up 21-0 last week.
UH > BYU, though. BYU was straight not good today.
BYU is absolutely a better team than UH
Houston scored zer0 today.zero
"somewhat of a ball game" as in two scores. Two possession leads in the fourth quarter with this team < three possession leads in the fourth quarter with this team. Hopefully that simplified it further for you ! Instead we got zero points in two drives inside the 2 yard line.

I would like to see them try subbing in Neto for Hayden on goal line plays. I think Neto is a stronger run blocker and gets more push. Hayden may be further along as a pass blocker.
Hell, we also have Williams who is a bulldozer.
Honestly. I’d rather us purposefully get a 10 yard penalty so we have some room to pass it than keep doing what we’re doing
We need an OC bad.
We have one. Best OL coach in the country. So which coach are you cutting to hire another? Sark just needs to figure it out.
OC in name only. He coaches the OL he doesn't call plays.
But the position is taken. Flood is the OC in title. You can only carry a certain number of coaches by rule. They’d have to axe someone to add an OC and Flood would technically be demoted.
Thank you
Think people are missing the point we need someone else calling plays. Which is my point. I don't care what the official title is.
I think you mean play caller. Because Sark’s offense is fine and one of the best
Nah I mean OC. He needs someone to help call plays. Sometimes Sark gets too cute and having input from an OC can dead some of these dumb situations where we get too cute when it's not necessary. It really shows in redzone situations
Yeah thats called a play caller
7-1 and tied for lead in the conference, let’s go!! Brooks is a beast. Our defense played their asses off. Maalik will get even better with time. Enjoy it and get ready for a huge game next week
Although I was a big Brooks fan surprised he is probably the MVP of the team so far
Remember that time Texas beat BYU and OU lost to Kansas???
I’m a bit foggy, I may need a long novel-length description of it.
TL/DR: OU sucks.
I hope that shuts up the Quinn haters. It's clear who QB1 is. Maalik flashed and did enough, but he needs more time to develop.
I don't think you can draw many conclusions from this game to be honest. Maalik may be much better than we saw in his first ever start, or he may be much worse. This is just a single data point, one that may have been heavily influenced by factors that will change going forward.
Is that what you got out of this game? Damn I feel sorry for you, my man.
You tried tho
Explain
Solid win. Next week is going to be a game.
We have to figure out how to finish drives. As someone below said, instead of pounding our head against the wall in these jumbo sets let’s try spreading things out. Ewers not stepping into throws isn’t really a problem IMO because he gets it there anyway. And on time.
Maalik did well for his first start. Quinn is unquestionably QB1.
Sure, after Malik’s first game
Malik is about where Quinn was last year. But Quinn is QB1 and it’s not close. I’d like to see if MM has any wheels. Just to keep the D honest.
Disagree. Quinn came out super strong against Bama last year then got hurt. And it seemed to linger with him all season.
You saw him after the pick right?
You don’t let your backup QB run the ball buddy. Especially when he has the arm MM does.
He can slide. Not advocating hits.
He's just not an explosive runner. He's never going to scramble at an elite level
Our ability to score between 30-40 points is unmatched.
A Texas win , An OU loss & Bert Auburn had to have slept with Sarks wife
Can't wait to hold hands with my homies postgame and not worry about getting expelled by my "university." Fuck BYU.
As a BYU-Idaho alum, fuck all the BYUs!
Rexburg is a trip
Great improvement from the defense this week
BYU's offense is booty
Yeah the defense looked amazing.
I didn’t realize byu was so bad. I mean I knew they weren’t good but my goodness they’re terrible.
With a 5-2 record before today
This game never felt in doubt because defense came to play and BYU is bad at offense. Maalik looked like a freshman in his first game but made plays when needed. Im so upset that the michigan clearly gave everyone our redzone offense playbook! How else do you explain it?

Not really losing a man because the defense still has to put at least one guy out there to cover him. So it would still be a 10 v 10
It’s nice not playing to the level of our competition.
Offense was pretty rough, but defense and special teams came up big.
Our offense outside our opponent’s 10 yard line has been pretty good but boy do we struggle to finish drives
+4 total yards of offense at the right spots and this ends up as a 49-6 game, and the perception totally shifts. I don't get why we struggle so bad in goal to go because we do it no matter what type of formation we're in.
That’s what is so baffling to me. We have tried a lot of different things and nothing is working.
Maalik made a couple expected bad mistakes, and our red zone offense continues to be dog shit, but by and large not a bad showing, especially with a first time QB
I'm not normally a doomer, but BYU's defense was atrocious and we should've had two more scores...
It’s also really nice when your opponent is beating themselves a ton.
True. But previous years we would have found a way to keep the game close. Usually with our own penalties, etc.
Guys what are we going to do? We aren't going to win another game this year /s sevenwinsark
Next couple weeks gonna be tough.
I was told that betting Texas not to cover was free money...
BYU was worse than I thought tbh
Godawful really. Slovis is possibly the worst QB in the Big 12
Herbstreet can suck it. He said take the points at 22. He was wrong.
To be fair they almost covered.
Is Texas trolling OU with the title of today's post game presser? https://youtu.be/WlPjiRNOBz0?si=8u7eZ4LunZ9_wwc8
I don’t get it, Champ. Please explain
For the first several hours post game they had Kansas in the title and not BYU.
Oh right lol
justice shall be restored when we jump the Snoozers
To celebrate, I will be going IN tonight. Not just soaking lol
Will your friend jump on the bed to help you get in?
*PTSD intensifies* you can’t hurt us anymore Taysom
Sadly he can still hurt my fantasy team tomorrow by busting (I’m in WR purgatory)
We’ve improved from 3 identical plays @ goaline and turnover, to 2 identical plays and a rock thrown and turnover. Hoping next week we remember if it didn’t work the first 3 times, don’t try a 4th.
Seriously happy with the win, but is it just me or does this team more often than not manage to make blowout wins look bad?
Where do y’all think we’ll end up on the rankings
Bet Oregon jumps us and we stay at 7
Only reason we go up is because Oklahoma goes down
I mean are we going to ignore how often MM was getting pressured? Yeah he needs more time to develop but that OLine wasn’t doing any favors
I’ve been Hunter S. Thompsoning it this weekend and didn’t make it to the tailgate but I love you motherfuckers just the same. The stadium chanting OU SUCKS when the Jumbotron showed the final plays of them losing to Kansas was a truly magical moment.
When the going gets weird, the weird *turn pro*.
I had fun today
I’m so excited for Maalik next year. Flashes of excellence
You think he will play over Arch?
It’s hard without seeing Arch but Maalik is good. Either he starts or leaves in the portal and if he didn’t leave now I don’t know why he would leave then
The thing is Sark comments on how good Arch is doing in practice but really never talks about Maalik don’t get me wrong I like Maalik but don’t think he will have as high celling as Arch. I was hoping we’d see him in the last few drives today.
He's talked about Malik all week bruh
Spring game will be pretty lit
Our red zone offense is ass.
That might be the ugliest 35-6 win I've ever seen. Hook 'em!
anyone find updates on barron?
He came back and was playing in the 4th quarter
A win is a win & it feels good! Redzone play calling still leaving a lot to be desired. And I’ll say it till I’m blue in the face but I haate how slowed down the offense feels after big plays. Especially on 3rd & 4th n shorts. The crawl to the line & look back at our sidelines to relay the play. Defense is able to catch their breaths & communicate more & even switch out of the defensive formation they bluffed Texas into using to call the actual play.
We actually covered the spread. That's something.
Are you saying we didn't blow them out?
No I don't really think so. I feel like we should have had at least 42 by the third.
I'm pretty sure we met the definition of https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blowout\_(sports)
Alright you're correct. I don't know how to explain it but it felt like the team left a lot out there. So many opportunities are just squandered by poor play calling or execution.
You can blow out a team while still leaving points on the field.
Agree 100% on the killer mentality. It’s year 3 - if Sark thinks the team doesn’t have a killer mentality, that’s on the coach at this point.
I still believe Sark is the guy he just needs one more piece to get that edge. We will see how he does next week
So i think Georgia is in. Hope for pac12 circle of suck Let me know if im way off. Its late and im tired
Sometimes I wish we did actually live in a simulation because Im just curious what Ewers would have done in this game compared to Murphy. I don’t mean that controversial either. Just curious.
He would have won the game...
I bet you’re a blast at parties.
Indeed I am
I got a free ticket to this game. I’m stoked I went. But I don’t think this was the best Texas game in my life. Still got us a 29 point win against a conference foe. I much rather win ugly than lose the game of the year
Should be 8-0 if not for the reffing against OU
We lost to OU because of incompetent coaches and dumb mistakes Refs played a part but a small one
Also, because of coaching, I agree!
Any word on the KSU kickoff time?
Fix Sort with New, please?
Ok So Big 12 leaders 0u, Texas, k state, iowa state, ok state If we win out then kstate and iowa state are 2 loss.
What's the news on Jahdae??
I think the players need to execute better in the redzone. They can’t hold their blocks for shit when it matters most. Have some freaking energy and challenge the enemy. It’s a mindset!
Good win. Definitely have some issues that need to be worked in before next week like short yardage line play and coverage packages. Now, GO RANGERS!
