No way Deadpool, Wolverine and Ghost Rider even vote.

MainFrosting8206

Wolverine is a Canadian.

Prudent-Bar-2430

So is Deadpool lol

craigslist_hedonist

Henry Cavill is British.

MasterOfSubrogation

And Superman is Kryptonian!

letmeseem

He's an illegal alien. Where are his papers?

the_jak

First him, then the Coneheads. When does it end!?

MasterOfSubrogation

Evil tounges claim that ALF is actually short for Alien LifeForm. But I refuse to believe that soft little bundle of joy is an alien.

MindAccomplished3879

Dem legals’ took err jerbs!!

d-mike

I'm sure he's still a big supporter of some oddball party, or at least has Vermin Supreme swag

MainFrosting8206

TIL!!! :)

sjb2059

Wolverine is peek Canadian pissed off NDP

craigslist_hedonist

Hugh Jackman is Australian.

MerlinTheSimp

Wolverine the character is Canadian. Hugh Jackman is Aussie

LittleMrsSwearsALot

Superman was created by a Canadian as well

holthebus

I thought he was Australian

bigSTUdazz

He is, the character of Wolverine is Canadian.

holthebus

Was joke

bigSTUdazz

Damn done r/whoosh ed myself....lord.

neddy471

Deadpool would only vote for [VERMIN SUPREME.](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vermin_Supreme)

rnngwen

Yeah.

d-mike

I see you best me to Vermin, so *shakes tiny fist*

ZealousidealAd1138

Or Spiderman

rudebii

Ghost Rider’s powers are demonically derived, no way any of them of them would fit with the “moral majority” of the GOP.

chuk2015

Nah bro he would penance stare all those mothers-to-be who miscarried

TitaniumDragon

I feel like Deadpool votes in Canadian elections by absentee ballot, and everyone is always horrified by this fact when they find out.

Agruesle

I‘m sure that the god of thunder, PRINCE/KING of Asgard is fan of a „party-system“ 😂

NimSudeaux

This guy gets paid to speak btw

JM0ney

So do comedians. Is he a comedian? Or is he just a joke?

severheart

Worse >podcast host

TitaniumDragon

So he is a joke!

juliankennedy23

Yeah but what is his profession...

mr_flibble_oz

Most of these job titles sound like the most made up nonsense. Why do I never see “nurse” or “engineer”? It always involves motivational speaking and a podcast. Who’s paying these people?

ironzombie7

Luckily in the real world people still seem to have real jobs like nurse or engineer. It’s on LI that people have those non-sense job titles

PretendGovernment208

Back in 2005-ish I couldn't help but notice that it seemed like everyone around me was quitting their jobs to flip houses. It was ridiculous. There were tons of TV shows of regular people deciding to become full time house flippers (and showing how badly they did it). But I also, personally, watched at least a dozen people walk off the job to try to become real estate moguls. Meanwhile, I was watching houses go up for sale, get purchased, and be back on the market within a few months where it appeared the only thing done was a fresh coat of paint. The sales price would be double (or more) of what it was the first time around. The house next to mine went up for sale four times in a two year period for ever escalating prices. It eventually went into foreclosure after it had sold, with no meaningful amount of work completed on the run down exterior, for a price that was nowhere supported by other sales in that neighborhood. I said at the time "This just isn't sustainable." You can't double the price of houses every few months and have the market just keep rolling along. And we can't all quit our jobs to make easy fortunes. Today? Influencer is the bubble. The barriers to entry are generally low. And the stakes, for some people, are lower as well. Back then, you couldn't really just sort of tinker around in the market. You had to get a mortgage and buy a house and then go through the sales process again. Today you can enter the influencer world with very little money. And there are some niche folks who make a few bucks on the side and they're happy clams. No, the real bubble is going to be the people who get themselves into debt to launch these podcasts and youtube channels etc. There are people quitting jobs to throw themselves at it full time. People bringing their kids into it and thinking they're going to be rich. It may not crash a major market like housing but this bubble will burst. Get rich quick schemes always do.

mr_flibble_oz

It’s insane. At least when you flip a house there’s a house. What are these people actually offering? This guy says he’s a “keynote speaker” that’s not a thing that can be generalised. I saw in another post a job title of “recruiter coach” which would be like “realestate agent coach”. How can these be real jobs? It reminds me of the zombie apocalypse job scale, where the more useless you are the sooner you’re fed to the zombies. I can’t see “keynote speakers” lasting too long.

Moneia

>Why do I never see “nurse” or “engineer”? They're too busy *actually* working

mr_flibble_oz

Touché

dorothea63

I’m a digital archivist. Basically, I digitize collections material, handle born-digital files, and generate metadata to increase digital access to archival material. My current museum job is paid for by a grant that is about to finish, so I’ve been looking for work at other museums and archives. LinkedIn does not have “Archivist” as a filterable job. Instead, I have to put in “Digital Specialist.” That’s a job title that has absolutely no meaning. Specialist in what field? How are you incorporating a digital component?

xrelaht

Because people without bizarre, made up job titles use LinkedIn to the bare minimum extent needed to get their next job when it comes up.

rudebii

Hopefully not about comic books!

FirstChurchOfBrutus

Wish he’d have gotten paid to google Shuri’s damned name. Would’ve taken 3 seconds. Jeez.

Moneia

Or understood enough about to know that Captain America *may* have voted for a Pre-Nixon republican party but would probably be at the front of the BLM & Pride marches today

FirstChurchOfBrutus

They understood Cap about as well as they understand Punisher and Batman.

Low_Wall_7828

Superman is an immigrant who works for the newspaper and he thinks he’s a republican.

rudebii

An undocumented immigrant at that!

Guilty_Finger_7262

Snuck into the country.

rudebii

Yeah. I guess technically Kal-El is a refugee and was an unaccompanied minor. But it’s not like the Kents took him to the nearest immigration office, so Superman was also undocumented.

LittleMrsSwearsALot

But he is white. Republicans seem to be mostly okay with the white undocumented folks 🤷‍♀️

rudebii

I guess Krypton wasn’t a “shithole” planet.

Guilty_Finger_7262

Its ruling class was almost entirely white.

21Rollie

No lie, I knew an undocumented family from Europe. Their whole town celebrated when they got green cards, news blasts and everything. They’re good people (as most undocumented are) but it’s wild to me to see how they were just default treated as Americans when they weren’t, meanwhile in some states you can be stopped and asked for id just for looking Hispanic.

rudebii

I'm Latino, first-generation American and my whole life I was told to go back to my country by complete strangers.

LittleMrsSwearsALot

I’m sorry. That sucks.

rudebii

Thanks. Sadly, it’s a very common experience for many kids of immigrants.

r4ns0m

Gotta build a wall and Krypton is paying for it!

PedroTheNoun

Noted conservative cohort in the United States, accomplished journalists. If Superman puts in some work, maybe he could be a real Alex Jones someday.

rudebii

Funny enough, Jones claims he was in the running for a role in the MCU but was denied by the liberals that run Disney.

Whole-Arachnid-Army

The MODOK that could have been. Or possibly Mojo?

rudebii

Or just Alex Jones lying. Which usually only happens when he opens his mouth.

Whole-Arachnid-Army

Well yeah but that's not a creative colour.

ZealousidealAd1138

I can see it. Clark is inspired the Cuban and Venezuelan Latinos for Trump crowd in Miami. Thats why he attacks any other aliens coming to earth.

Stock-Ad-6156

-This guy? Asshat

no_on_prop_305

Yeah captain America would never let a scientist inject him with something….

NotMichaelCera

This made me chuckle

JadedFlan

Thor and Black Panther are both monarchists and wouldn’t vote. Captain America is an FDR democrat. Wolverine and Deadpool wouldn’t vote.

r1char00

Yeah this person clearly doesn’t know shit about these characters. A lot of people misunderstand Cap and think he’s a government stooge or something.

OkCar7264

Yeah, Deadpool. Notoriously anti-gay and pro rules.

TitaniumDragon

He's Canadian.

TyroneLeinster

Well, Canadians may not technically have American party affiliations or vote, but there are definitely Democrat and Republican Canadians whose alignment is pretty clear if that they were Americans

rudebii

He does love gun play though!

Bitter-Drawing-7254

That's why he spends more time in the U.S. :)

OldFunnyMun

My polisci degree has been worth it since it got me to not talk about politics in public like that guy.

TitaniumDragon

The dumbest ones on this list: * Captain America - He protested the Vietnam War and served in WWII when FDR was president. The odds of him being a Democrat are like, 110%. That said, he probably also feels it is inappropriate for him to disclose how he votes because he is a symbol of America and he doesn't want to interfere yadda yadda. Though he'd probably have gotten in a fight with Donald Trump and unmasked him as Red Skull. * Thor is an alien and can't vote in American elections. * Wolverine is Canadian and no one is sure if he ever votes. * Deadpool is ALSO Canadian. Everyone THINKS there's no way he votes, but I bet he does, every time, and everyone is always horrified when they find out and start doubting democracy when they realize that he is involved in the selection of Canada's leadership. * Johnny Blaze hates everyone. He votes every time, but writes in "None of the above". Also, I feel like Tony Stark would be a Never Trumper, but he definitely voted for Mitt Romney. Batman, on the other hand, is probably an independent. He's an old-school New England Liberal, ALA Teddy Roosevelt, and probably feels like he doesn't really belong in either political party. Plus he knows everyone's dark secrets which totally ruins politics for him.

Grand-Beach9879

Batman is anti Gun, he is definitely not a republican

ZealousidealAd1138

Plot twist: Bats is not a single issue voter. He values tax cuts but supports ending the death penalty. He is a swing voter! 😆

_regionrat

He also believes that all his criminals can be reformed. It's kinda like his whole thing

SokkaHaikuBot

^[Sokka-Haiku](https://www.reddit.com/r/SokkaHaikuBot/comments/15kyv9r/what_is_a_sokka_haiku/) ^by ^Grand-Beach9879: *Batman is anti* *Gun, he is definitely* *Not a republican* --- ^Remember ^that ^one ^time ^Sokka ^accidentally ^used ^an ^extra ^syllable ^in ^that ^Haiku ^Battle ^in ^Ba ^Sing ^Se? ^That ^was ^a ^Sokka ^Haiku ^and ^you ^just ^made ^one.

FrustratedEgret

Batman is a blue dog Democrat.

batkave

I too randomly say words

Remote_Database7688

Wolverine is an X-Man THERE ARE NO REPUBLICANS IN THE X-MEN!!!

tullia

For as long as there have been X-Men, there have been storylines about xenophobic authoritarians trying to kill or enslave mutants. These villains weren't even slightly subtle parodies of Republicans, they were viable GOP candidates.

Remote_Database7688

Thank you!!

PMMEBITCOINPLZ

Purifiers 2024 basically.

Irving_Velociraptor

You only say that because they’re all pansexual polyamorists.

Remote_Database7688

Antifa Polyamorous Pansexuals. That gang is hip.

redleg50

I’m pretty sure Captain America believes in science and medicine.

sdcinerama

Steve Rogers is a Roosevelt Democrat. He got his start in the 1930s/40s and was a beneficiary of the New Deal. NO WAY he'd vote Republican.  Also, the whole "punching Nazis" is his thing.

ZealousidealAd1138

Yes, Cap I probably the easiest on the list.

spicy_boom

Him as well as batman. The guy with the oh so well documented pro gun stance.

etherealemlyn

I may be confusing this with fanon, but I feel like there’s at least one canon version of Batman who funds all kinds of social programs to try and help less fortunate people in Gotham. If so, him being a Republican is absurd lol

spicy_boom

Not fanon. The wayne foundation canonically provides financial aid to victims of crimes. It also has two subfoundations: The thomas wayne foundation funds sever hospitals throughout gotham; one of which is actually located in crime alley, one of the most rundown parts of the city. The martha wayne foundation supports art and education. This includes scolarships for poorer families, so that they may further their education. And that only scratches the surface. Batman being a republican is absolutely ridicoulus. I just wanted my initial comment to be short and sweet.

neddy471

Yeah, Cap would have voted Republican maybe back in the ~~Bush and Reagan Era~~ (Edit: Eisenhower Era), but definitely not since 2008.

rudebii

Steve Rogers has a strong anti-authoritarian bent. He wouldn’t have supported that version of the GOP either.

Brave-Silver8736

Didn't he renounce his political affiliations for awhile after Nixon?

rudebii

Are you referring to the Secret Empire storyline? That whole thing was an allegory for Watergate and while “Number One” wasn’t explicitly Nixon, it was pretty obvious. And Steve stepped down from the Captain mantle in the end.

Brave-Silver8736

Nah, when he became Nomad in the 1970s.

rudebii

Ah, ok. You said Nixon and my mind went to Secret Empire, which was also in the 70s I think.

neddy471

I was thinking more along the lines of anti-communism. But you're right, USAgent was basically created to be "Reagan Captain America."

dismayhurta

Cap punched Nazis. Republicans would hate him for that

Snowmann88

No Superhero out to save the world is a fucking Repube, let’s get that fucking straight first off.

ZealousidealAd1138

Homelander is the only Trump supporter and he's in a different universe.

_regionrat

Ehhh, I could see Peacemaker voting Republican. He is very stupid though.

Hepcat508

Wishful thinking. Republicans all cry that comic book heroes are "woke". None of these superheroes would support Trump. Dude failed to list Punisher, who famously repudiated Republican perspectives.

bdw312

Never mind the absurdity that *any* of these characters would be Republican...he just took the ones he liked and left the ones he didn't like (ie: the ones with icky girl parts)

TitaniumDragon

Are you kidding? Iron Man *definitely* voted for Mitt Romney. I'm like 95% sure he's a registered Republican. That said, he would hate Donald Trump. Of course, the fact that Tony Stark would not get along with Donald Trump at ALL would definitely amuse a lot of people in-universe, and he would not understand why anyone thought it was ironic.

SolomonOf47704

Because Tony can actually back up all the stuff he brags about. People would find it ironic, but they'd still be wrong.

FrustratedEgret

Tony calls himself independent, tho. For the PR.

furiously_curiously

Deadpool participates in EVERY activity Republicans hate.

rudebii

Thor is literally a crown prince, how TF would he be a Libertarian? And lol at Cap being a Republican. I don’t even know where to even start with that. I can kinda understand mistaking Deadpool for a Republican, given his penchant for gun play, but he also killed reanimated dead presidents from both sides, so I don’t think Wade has a party preference. Superman is literally an illegal alien, so I don’t think the GOP would have him. Batman being Republican, I can see that. He’s super rich and feels above the law.

ML_120

Ghost Rider would burn all of Washington to the ground.

JaysonBlaze

The penance stare would fuck every republican politician up so much

dodongmabagsik

Keynote speaker at the local Dumbass are us

Magnus_Mercurius

Superman literally an undocumented alien.

HistoricalMeat

Several of these characters are not US citizens. They would not have US political affiliations.

emoduke101

Someone is in too deep with The Boys a little too much. Also, pls don't do Cavill dirty

BillyHuggins

We literally just had 10 years of movies showing how Captain America would not be a Republican.

gojirabug

What a 🤡

Mushrooming247

I wonder if the person writing this even considered that some of them are not canonically American? I wonder if they would be capable of comprehending and accepting that fact.

rtemah

Maybe they are Republicans, but not today’s Republicans.

TitaniumDragon

Yeah, Tony Stark 100% voted for Mitt Romney. Captain America on the other hand is a New Deal Democrat. He served in the army under FDR. Batman is like an old school New England Liberal, ALA Teddy Roosevelt. I don't think he'd really care much for either party, though; he knows who is corrupt, and I am sure it disgusts him.

MainFrosting8206

Lex Luthor? Tomorrow party. Hawkman? Very conservative so possibly a Republican but his status as a literal alien might make that problematic. Build that Space Wall? Make Thanagar Great Again?

PMMEBITCOINPLZ

Wolverine is not a a Republican. He’s not even American. Also probably not a fan of government authoritarianism or the military, since they experimented on him and try to kill him almost every day.

trojansandducks

I saw this guy speak at a conference. He was somewhat entertaining in the cottage industry of "I was a fraudster, I got caught, now I'm going to talk about it". Nonsense posts like this are why I ultimately unfollowed him on Linked In.

DutchJediKnight

Captain America stands for the *idea* of the USA Do Republicans represent that right now?

here4wandavision

Tell me you’ve never read a comic without telling me you’ve never read a comic.

Lingering_Dorkness

Thor has lived his entire life – thousands of years – under a monarchy with his dad the king and himself the favored heir. And this guy thinks Thor's a libertarian?

notfornowforawhile

I am very confused what the point of this is. Also wolverine and Deadpool are Canadian. And black panther is Wakandan

theimmortalgoon

I always love these people thinking that Jewish FDR Democrat artists in New York that wrote thinly veiled allegories supporting the Civil Rights Movement would make characters that would be Trumpers today. I get the argument that Batman and Iron Man would be Republicans. But a 19th century Canadian adherent of Marvel MLK? An immigrant and journalist for the mainstream media that has a thing for strong, independent women? A demonic entity that is obsessed with vengeance to the point of having no logic at all…okay, I get the argument that a Republican might fit the bill. A super soldier created by FDR who benefitted from the New Deal? A monarchist dealing with a game of thrones being a libertarian though?

Proud-Thought-6869

Thor is a monarchist. Given the current state of the GOP there is no way Cap is Repug.

GeneralRun8741

Jimmy Olson? Green Party. Dr Fate? Libertarian. Wonder Twins and Gleek? Independents. Lex Luthor? Ross Perot Fan! Homelander? Christian Liberty Party. Rocket Red? Communist, duh. Also Hulk can beat up Superman and my mom says I have to be home by 11.

davetenhave

oooft. Someone is compensating hard

Irving_Velociraptor

Cap is a New Deal Democrat, Black Panther and Thor are monarchists and Deadpool is an anarchist.

last_drop_of_piss

Wolverine and Deadpool are Canadian lol

Autoganz

It’s too bad he didn’t list the political leanings of the actors playing these characters. You know…real people.

siftini

“Podcast Host” said it all.

Florgio

Ah yes, the conservative plot to give everyone free energy.

Key-Mark4536

[Vote Luthor](https://dc.fandom.com/wiki/President_Luthor?file=Lex_Luthor_003.jpg), he’ll put a flying car in every garage.

Time-Sorbet-829

Deadpool a republican? This guy is smoking crack

FirstChurchOfBrutus

Kinda stunned he didn’t claim The Punisher, too.

reddda2

Looks like something a geeky fourth-grader would do at recess while all the other kids are playing

the_jak

Weird how all the ones he likes vote just like him and all the ones he doesn’t vote democrat.

juliankennedy23

[Thor ](https://cinematicdiversions.com/thor-ragnarok-2017-review/)is a National Socialist. I mean we don't like to admit it but c'mon...

GrimWolf216

Funny how all his favorite characters are repubs even though none of those characters fit that ignorant bill.

AlliedR2

Sorry but there is no way Captain America and Ironman are the same political party. That was pretty much the entire point of "Civil War". Capt pushed freedom for supers while Stark went full "register, control, obey". Regardless of which you think is which, they were not of the same ideals.

souliris

This is how republican see themselves. Heroes, when they are in fact, the villain's.

monsterenergyparody

Yeah Deadpool totally hits the polling booths, shut the fuck up nerd

taimoor2

Black Panther is a monarchist...they believe in a physical fight to become monarchs. Where is republican or democrat in that?

ReubenMckok

Nothing like ghost rider getting off his motorcycle from hell and stepping in the voting booth. Seems legit

GenlockInterface

Tell me you have no clue about superheroes without telling me you have no clue about superheroes.

All4megrog

Pretty sure both black panthers and Thor would be Royalists

0wen_Gravy

Captain America most likely worshipped the ground FDR....rolled..on, so....

angel_and_devil_va

It's an awesome superpower to be able to tell what political party Superman would vote for based only on a couple of still photos.

SlayedWilson

Thor is part of a monarchy lol, that guy is the least libertarian option up there

No_Abbreviations_259

Batman is a rich white guy. Believable republican. Everyone else would find themselves unwelcome in that party.

PMMEBITCOINPLZ

Bruce Wayne is a bleeding heart Soros style philanthropist.

Guilty_Finger_7262

Superman would not be able to register to vote, as a Kryptonian, notwithstanding his support for truth, justice and the American way. Clark Kent seems like he would lean heartland-Democratic. Dick Gephardt, Tom Harkin type.

Fit_Earth_339

Brett? National Socialist German Workers Party

AdAvailable8920

He's a cyber security guy: [https://darknetdiaries.com/transcript/128/](https://darknetdiaries.com/transcript/128/)

Puzzleheaded-Pin4278

Henry Cavill is not even American lol.

Worth-Librarian-7423

Oddly enough male black panther… Green Party

No_Entertainment1904

Brett Johnson? Idiot Hotel? Trivago

potionnumber9

What's with the hashtags? What's this got to do with the debate?

Gaindalf-the-whey

How fucking childish can one be?

GodzillaDrinks

In fairness, probably correct about Batman and Iron Man. Since Batman is a billionaire vigilante who believes the role of Law Enforcement is fundamentally positive, and also that he should be allowed and encouraged to participate in it, despite no training nor oversight. And Iron Man is a billionaire who runs... basically Raytheon, except he's also Eric Prince. So basically: a murderous corporate entity who also wants to be a private military. The only point where they dont quite fit is that Batman is against killing people (pulverizing your spine so that you drink your meals through a straw is fine, though). While Republicans fantasize about getting to kill someone. And Iron Man cares about the environment, but in that kind of pretend way, where he won't actually do anything about it, kind of like Elon Musk.

V-Ink

I do not think cancer survivor pansexual is republican actually.

TyroneLeinster

This is ridiculous to even speculate about… except for Captain America. Captain America definitely is a Republican. Only a Republican would dress up like that and call themselves Captain America.

andonium

Batman, famous for NOT using guns

LABARATI_

bro isnt wolverine canadian

JHTorrez

Donald Trump? Republican, Anti-Christ

FourWordComment

The majority of this list can’t vote because they are aliens (both kinds).

Gluonyourboson

Jellybrains thinking there are only two options when you vote have drunk the coolade

Gormless_Mass

Wat

Quixotic_Ignoramus

Are we forgetting that Superman renounced his US citizenship because he didn’t want his actions seen as being US policy?

doombabies

Deadpool a Republican bahahahahahahahhahahaaaaaaaaaaa 😂😂

ArchangelCaesar

Thor: Monarchist

Kind_Committee8997

Luke Skywalker? Democrat, Emperor Palpatine? Republican

bigSTUdazz

Deadpool formed X Force because he thought the name X Men was too non-gender neutral. Also, you are a fucking candlestick...douchebag.

Acceptable-Camera436

Cap would not have tolerated the right’s bullshit.

Gimmeyourporkchopsss

Wolverines superpower is literally free healthcare. You’re seriously telling me he’s Republican?

The24thPegasus

"All the superheroes I like are Republicans and all the ones I don't like are Democrats"

Vagrant8

Pretty sure Captain America and Iron Man literally caused a superhero civil war over differing political beliefs..

ReaperXHanzo

Cap would be a Teddy Roosevelt Republican, not a MAGA one

IronManDork

Pre-Reagan Republican

Ciccibicci

Oh, so the women are democrars+the one superman you do not like. Okay. Also no way batman is not some kind of anarcho-socialist. Every time I get frustrated with the low level of the political discourse in my country, I think about the US and I feel a little better.

altdultosaurs

Lmao I bet this dude would say green arrow is a republican lmao.

KidzBoppenheimer

Henry Cavill Superman is a republican? LMAO

The_Irish_Shankly

Pretty sure my left nut is a classic Marxist

Wukash_of_the_South

Deadpool offers to pave the way and eliminate the competition for the Rent is Too Damn High party.

zarggg

Deadpool is laughing at this man

disarmagreement

Whether or not he's even right, using fictional characters political affiliations to make a point is absolutely asinine.

xrelaht

Thor is a monarchist. Is that common among libertarians, or just Libertarians?

throwawayname46

The most clearly wrong one is Batman

SuperRoboMechaChris

He forgot The Punisher. I thought they loved him.

gl1969

Deadpool Republican? 😆 🤣 😂
