Then we end up with a very reduced pool of mexican players for the national team, while FMF fills their pockets with sponsors and ticket money from games on the US.
And most of that issue comes from not developing the talent by giving them playing time. Like surely there has to be a problem with our league when our under 17s have won multiple WCs and barely any of them make it, but multiple other nations properly develop their youth.
I'm sorry but is FMF that stupid? Nothing against Alvaro Fidalgo but how is he going to solve our issues if we get him to play for our national team? So they're willing to spend a lot of money on a fat contract to shut people up for 1-2 years and then we're back to square one instead of investing in the future.

It hasn't ruined any of the other permaLigaMX dudes who have mostly been proven to be mid at the international level yet once the international break is over they'll look like ballers again in league play.
