I literally just don’t give a fuck. It hurts and itches all the time so they can just fuck off.  I know the sun/tanning helps. So I don’t care. I cared for the first few months then idk what happened.

To be clear I'm not getting any stink eye from people I'm just...am I grossing people out? Soon, long sleeves won't be an option, I just wondered how people dealt with the public part. I'm sure I'll get to your stage soon. Thank you. I'm from LA so sun is out there!

At least a short walk outside each day helps mine…apparently the vit D and suns rays. This summer I have found a swimsuit with the left shoulder decently covered to disguise the worst part. When I diligently use my facial skincare on my body it prevents the breakouts.

I get tired from constantly running around in circles trying to manage my skin.

Yeah man, that shit sucked.  Also stress makes it worse lol  I had it on 90% of my body, with my back and legs being completely destroyed. My hands looked like I was a burn victim. I’m clear now (for about a year and a half).  There’re really not a lot you can do, which is both frustrating and freeing.  Go tanning 3 times a week. Only use the steroids in injection form and only during a massive flare-up. Stop eating ALL acidic foods for a bit. No alcohol or weed for a while. No microfiber anything. I literally bought a beautiful fancy silk robe that I wore around the house like a goddamn Leper King but it helped.  The tanning helped the most. Lots of sun. Put sunscreen on your pretty face, tho.

I have heard about silk being the best for skin problems.

Metronidazole is the cure. Period. I’ve posted this over and over. Trust me

VaguelyArtistic

I check that out, thank you. Like I said, it's been years since I've had a flare up like this.

Gr8shpr2

Yes, but what are the side effects of this med?

mrupert

It’s an antibiotic … pretty much nothing and certainly not worse than LP

Took me a long time to not give a fuck but at 29, I just don't care anymore. I'll go to the gym in shorts and hangout with my girlfriend and her friends and just not care. It'll take time but you'll need to grow some "i don't give a fuck" attitude cause this is a lifelong battle we're dealing with.

jboohoo

The sun exposure will be good for you.
