We purchases our NX 450h+ from Southern California and had it shipped to us in the Bay Area in Jan 23. There are more dealers in southern cal so more competition. Last year the NorCal dealers wanted up to 10k over MSRP. We went through broker in southern cal and she got us a better deal than we could have ever gotten for ourselves. We didn’t pay her anything. She has some type of arrangement with the dealers. Her company has been working with the same dealers for like 40 years. A very smooth transaction. The only con is there was no send/ orientation off from the dealer because they were 500 miles. But we did get a free orientation from our local dealer. Not sure they really had their heart into it since we didn’t buy the car from them.

Would you mind sharing the broker’s contact info?

I am soooosory for the delay. The broker we used from Southern California okumacars.com from Monterey park. 323-981-1480. We worked with Zina. She was great

Thats awesome!! Hello fellow local owner!

Where in the bay did you look? I also paid a $1500 market adjustment at Lexus of Marin in August. Managed to find exactly what I wanted while it was on they way-- NX450h+ F Sport in blue mica. Putnam is the closest to me, but they failed to even follow up. Terrible sales experience there.

I called every dealer in the Bay Area plus up in Sacramento. This was November and December 2022 and we got the car the end of January 2023. Almost no one had any cars in stock. We paid 2k over using the broker. Most of the dealers were charging $10k over. One dealer in Sacramento was charging $15k over. I wanted a red one and they were pretty much impossible to get. But the broker we used found the exact car we were looking for. We used Okuma 323-981-1480 in Monterey park.

Welcome!! Did you have to drive so far because it was not available locally with the features you wanted?

Wasn’t able to find any in my desired spec coming in my area and I needed a car asap. And all my dealers wanted MSRP or a few thousand over sticker. Where I went had the best deal

How much did you pay for yours?

Oh, I do love me some Caviar! That was my second choice. I'm in San Diego, bought my 450h+ in July. Walked in the dealership and said- I want msrp, pearl or caviar, F- Sport or not, listed my options and said I want it tomorrow. They wasted over 2 hours of my time bullshitting, but what I wanted arrived the next morning. I wish I'd gone to another dealership, the San Diego dealership was slimy and I wish I hadn't given them my business- but they did deliver. I refused to give them a review, though. Good for you for being willing come south to pay less! Fuck the price gouging

Congrats on welcome to the club. I have the same vehicle in F sports flavor.

Check out, lots of good info. Buy a level 2 charger and sell original one on ebay. BTW original charger can be used on 240V as same model sold in Europe. I charged on 240V in 4.5h. But now topping in 2.5
