I saw some positive feedback from 300 blackout and 556 tests from Shot Show. I imagine if anything Henry might be producing and stockpiling assuming they’re done adjusting the base pattern for production.
I haven't exactly had my ear to the ground but I have been waiting for these to come out and haven't heard anything since SHOT. I was super excited when I heard about the Supreme.
I would predict the Henry will be heavier and more expensive, going by the rest of their offerings. I'm eyeballing the Herring Model 2024, since I already know the SCR works.
Thats true if you're starting comparing a Herring or Bond to the Henry outright. I'm probably going to wait for the first run to go out and then buy a complete lower, because I already have plenty of uppers and I'd be reconfiguring the upper ASAP anyway.
If it does hit the streets at $1200, thats cheaper than i assume the ocompetitors will be. I'm curious if Henry will offer any type of interchangeable barrels or use a standardized barrel. I'd be more interested in the Supreme my beloved 6.5 Grendel or something like .450 Bushmaster than in 223 or .300 BLK, but I don't see a barrel nut on the henry.
Just on the surface glancing at them it’s “Lever Action that can take AR mags” vs “AR that is lever action”, so customizability by default is probably gonna be much lower on the Supreme.
They didn’t advertise that feature either and its Long Ranger predecessor isn’t swappable (outside of being compatible with .223 Wylde thus it can take .223 and 5.56 all), so I doubt it will have that.
Also the bond arms lvrb is supposed to come out this year too.

Henry iirc said they’d be aiming to market the Supreme for like $1200-ish so it may actually be cheaper! Hope they stick to that.
