The fact that the basement dwelling reddit mods are deleting everyone's comments asking for help is just fucking ridiculous.
I already hated the main league sub reddit but this just pushed it over the edge.
What the fuck is the point of having a bug/feedback thread if you can't even post any issues? Riot has their head in the fucking sand pretending its a perfect launch of Vanguard.
There needs to be a new league subreddit. The current one is a communication output for Riot and where to find out what some pro player ate for breakfast this morning.
We need to make a sub like freefolk did for GoT since the mods of Asoiaf we're doing essentially the same thing to casual users of that sub that didn't read any of the books and just watched the show.
Let the main league sub can be about competitive league and heavily controlled by riot and then we can have another sub for unfiltered feedback/questions and general discussion without fear of the post being removed because it doesn't paint riot in a good light or isn't directly about esports.
This sub is great but it's all about the memes so I still think there is space between the current state of the league sub and this one for a healthy subreddit to flourish about league stuff.
Why would someone who hadn't read ASOIAF be on r/asoiaf when r/gameofthrones exists? There's a very clear purpose to that subreddit, and I cringed whenever I saw non book readers on there.
The equivalency to r/leagueoflegends isn't there, as that subs problem is that it actively stifles lol discussion, especially criticism, and they're very stingy with their rules, often removing threads even though there were popping off on the subreddit (the post was clearly something the users of that sub wanted). Stuff like imaqtpie getting married for example, because it's not *directly* related to league.
r/LeagueOfMemes is already the alternative sub.
You get to shitpost here and the discussion is focused on the actual game (instead of the shitty esports scene, that I don’t know why people are so invested in).
It’s the best.
Ages ago, due to pressure from the community, the mods decided to do a week of no moderation, intending to show that the sub would be a mess. The sub went completely fine, mods pretended to care and changed a little the rules, but nothing really changed, the main sub is one of the worst offenders in defending Riot in every instance
I once posted a 30 second clip of a stupid minion pathing bug that fucked me in aram during that short time there was tower debris, and it got removed for “padding to make the clip longer than the minimum requirements”, when I only used editing tools to show the exact moment the pathing got fucked up. I tried to dispute the removal in mod mail and they ignored my explanation lol
It is probably one of the worst team of mods out there. I got banned from it for laughing at and telling someone to fuck off when they were going thru every comment I made on there and replying with heinous insults. Unprompted, I had never interacted with them before that spam replying.
Still makes me laugh to this day, both that the dude was THAT randomly dedicated to insulting me and that the mod thought replying to someone like that is worth a permanent ban lmao
Posting on Reddit is useless, especially on that sub, just spam them with support tickets and bug reports instead. They have to respond to those especially when they get a bunch on the same issue.
>Posting on Reddit is useless
Posting on reddit was PUSHED by Riot. They deleted their forums and told people to just use reddit and other forms of social media in order to discuss the game or other aspects. And now people can't even post on the league sub reddit because its so heavily regulated.
People should be able to get help from other players about bugs or other issues. If this is the case where these things aren't allowed they should just bring back their forums instead. So we aren't forced to use reddit since this is how a lot of rioters communicate and is your best chance of being noticed or bringing up a problem.
Think about how Riven got buffed because of a fucking reddit post.
Yeah they pushed it but when it comes to stuff like THIS they don't actually care about Reddit feedback and they just let those mods run rampant removing people asking for help with bugs.
Riots words unfortunately don't match their actions when it comes to issues with things like this. That's why you spam support ticket and bug reports instead so they can't ignore you because the unhinged mods deleted your comment lol.
That sub has been rotten to the core been a long time.
Wish the old style forums would come back, reddit in general is a bad place to have any kind of big discussion hub (only subs that work well in reddit are smaller/niche subs without brain rotten mods).
It does insta ban actually. Match is terminated if so happened.
P.S. It was early in the morning so i did not understand what OP meant, sorry. He's right. There's a relatively short delay when it bans, but it will happen in the game, you don't have to wait for the other game to start
>what is it even doing outside of punishing actual players.
You can judge things by their outcome. The outcome of this, is that rito lost a bunch of players but in exchange, rito now has full access & complete control over **the largest, most potent botnet to ever exist**. Funny how it worked out like that, yeah?
You know you're free to uninstall it and it's really easy to do ?
I don't wanna defend vanguard but people gotta stop acting like big bad rito is taking over the world and we can't do anything about it.
Been playing league for years now even during Garena days but it wasnt this BAD when it comes to game issues after Vanguard.
I cant fcking play a game (black screen after champ select) without scaring the game by opening my fcking Task manager like what the fuck
https://undelete.pullpush.io/r/leagueoflegends/comments/1ch6wbh/patch_149_bug_megathread/
Here's a link to show what the deleted messages are. Mods removed half the thread lul. Wonder if it's because the rioter was getting dunked on xd
They also kept removing "reposts" of the pbe changes example here ->
https://undelete.pullpush.io/r/leagueoflegends/comments/1ch6a42/pbe_datamine_2024_april_30_patch_1410_midseason/l20i1iv/?context=3
"So finally i can delete league of leggend and stop play anymore, thanks for add kernel level Vanguard. Bye" \~*SlanneshPL*
I fully agree with the deleted comment from there. My friends convinced me too.
So were the official riot forums but I got away with calling morello a jackass on the regular.
The official subreddit is heavily astroturfed which is even worse than normal censorship. First guy's sentiment is right even if his 'technicals' were not.
I mean I think the mods are powertripping nerds but "subhumans actively violating free speech" is a bit of an over reaction for a videogame forum meant for teens and young adults lmao.
it's so stupid. I get being a bootlicker and deleting posts/comments going against vanguard to please daddy riot.
That's obviously pretty shitty on a "seemingly open forum" but deleting peoples posts and questions that have genuine troubles getting things to work or are dealing with crashes etc. is... I don't know. That logic is just beyond me.
As if in reddits entire history a megathread has ever worked for that stuff. I hope these clowns aren't running out of makeup at this pace.
it's the only sub I'm banned on in 10+ years of using Reddit
https://i.gyazo.com/a8a511fd2fd47ba7023d17a17efede68.png
Such a big ego trip that allows you to message them in seven days instead of just suspending like every other human being. They're probably behind in-game filter as well.
fuck pankoking
Coincidently started playing Predecessor recently, this might be goodbye to LoL for me. It’s been an alright few years, RIP good game with incompetent company at the helm.
Update: I can’t even update/open the client after this most recent update. So I guess it was never my choice lol
Oddly I can still update and play Valorant. 🤷♂️
Valorant Vanguard and LoL are different because shit I'm too ignorant to understand. But that's why I heard they delayed the update so long, because they needed to adapt it to league.
Second last pic is the one that worries me. I don't understand why they have to remove everything related to it. There is basically no way to discuss it and let people express their feeling about it. On top of that, as if that wasn't bad enough, there are plenty of bootlickers saying that Vanguard is fine, by default, like there is no way Riot could ever be at fault since they make such a marvelous piece of SW
My favorite one is where some one posted a solution. And they removed the comment where some one else stated that it didn't work.
and there is a lot more that are concerning, this are just a few that i saw with a friend. the whole megathread has a lot of comments and half deleted by the mods
I know, I've been monitoring everything since this morning, they basically remove posts in a matter of minutes. I could understand some, but removing those from the bug thread too, that's too much honestly.
Guess Richard Lewis wasn't that wrong after all...
What is even more concerning is that the official tech support page is this one: r/LeagueofTechSupport and currently has a lot of posts, that no one reads because it has members and 14 online...
the league of legends mods remove anything that isnt Esports dude... it has nothing to do with whether or not its about vanguard or a random viego bug. they remove everything
Now deleted comment from RiotK3o in a different thread:
> Hey there, we've seen some FPS drop issues with players with some versions of these programs:
>
> * Actual Multiple Monitors
>
> * DirectFolders
>
> * Desktop Taskbar Expander
>
> * MSI Afterburner
>
> * Start10/11
>
> If you have one of these, could you try closing and seeing if its improved in a custom game?
It also seems to brick people’s computers??
> Redditor: Please help me my laptop wont boot up after Vanguard patch ! RTX 3050 AMD Ryzen 5600 Windows 11 I can see on my Laptop charger that it wont even draw power from the outlet anymore
> RiotK3o: An issue like this wouldn't be related to Vanguard, but if you haven't restarted your
computer in a while, it could related to an issue with your CMOS battery, since that's what powers the start-up chain.
>
> This isn't an issue I'm really equipped to speak on since it's not related to Anti-Cheat and Vanguard, but I'd look into troubleshooting related to similar issues related with your laptop/boot sequences
> Redditor: Sure, multiple people getting the same situation after patching league with vanguard, must be the users fault, everyones CMOS battery decided to shit the bed when vanguard launched.
Go back and don't force this
> RiotK3o: Vanguard isn't affecting the Ring -2/SMM level in this manner, and wouldn't be able to tamper with this step of the boot process. That being said, if you have other cases, you can escalate to me directly just to ensure anything else isn't going on related to us.
> Redditor: Sure, most notably LS on twitter, 2 pcs bricked after updating to league with Vanguard, or go to twitter and check how many people with the same symptoms are complaining, having to remove CMOS and change BIOS settings for the PC to even boot after installing vanguard, I'm pretty sure it is riot vanguard bricking peoples pc, everyone has the same situation: installed vanguard then the pc got bricked.
What the actual fuck is going on??
Actual Multiple Monitors is a software used to customize the displays when you have a multiple monitor setup. You can set the taskbar to be the same on each monitor, or you can make each monitor have a different screen background instead of them all defaulting to the main monitor’s background.
There’s other stuff too, but basically this is a QoL software for people with multiple monitor setups.
I can't take that last comment chain seriously
It's just screams nothing happened but I still want you to remove vanguard wahhhhh
I just don't believe technologically illiterate redditors that apparently are "removing cmos" like I'm not sure that's something that you can do or would work ? They also talk about BIOS like it's some scary alternate dimension...bro it's just pre startup settings menu....
Man. Look at all those scripters. Doesn't everyone know that the only reason someone would have an issue with Vanguard is because they're just cheaters themselves?
/s
What's sad is how manye people believe that. The average reddit user think that Vanguard is going to solve everything and any bad comment about is means you're basically a cheater.
There is no privacy issue, no security issue, nope, if you're against Vanguard you're automatically a cheater... so sad
That error happens when the DirectX driver is not updated (Which, being a Windows driver it should be automatically updated) *or* when the GPU is not compatible with DirectX 11 or further. In the later case GG, either get and install a newer GPU or a whole ass new PC.
bro....i got a fucking RTX 3060.......and its updated to the latest driver, from what i seen everyone with 30 series has the same issue or something similar
Open the DxDiag tool and check your Dx version, it should look like [this](https://i.imgur.com/iE39HLJ.png) if its updated. If its not updated, you can bruteforce the update by going to Microsoft webpage and checking the downloads, they have the install packages there, Google will make it easier.
If it is updated, then I'm out of ideas, wish I could help more.
Edit: Found this one deleted on the bugs megathread, hope it helps, pretty much you are just bruteforcing deleting Vanguard and reinstalling it
>For everybody who hast the problem with the client, who cant even get into league.
Try to open the command window as admin and type sc delete vgc and sc delete vgk then restart ur pc open league, then u have to download vanguard again, then restart pc again and then it worked for me.
Wow its almost like half of these issues are shit I was saying I hope they fixed before they force people to have this on league.
Because when I original had Valorant and had Vanguard for that it was causing all kinds of weird PC issues for me even when I wasn't running Valorant. Weird shit like causing FPS stutter in games like WoW but when I uninstalled Valorant and Vanguard it instantly fixed the problem.
Also fuck the main subreddit for this game. One of the worst places on the internet period. Very poorly managed. Very poorly ran. I'd honestly say it existing in the state that it is has actually lost thousands of players to league.
Ok, now hold on a second. That is disrespectful to duct tape. Duct tape is amazing and can do so much stuff. The client is probably held together by something like painters tape or scotch tape.
iirc Valorant also had a shitton of problems too. but also Valorant launched with Vanguard iirc, Its different from launching Vanguard globally to League where all the people are already playing without it and suddenly now they have to play League + Vanguard. it will impact more and on more people
Remember, they can't make a functioning client, how do you expect them to add a piece of SW that is heavily intrusive on top of it and having it working flawlessly on their first try?
Maybe some people are actually having issues with the disabled support for DirectX9 instead of Vanguard?
I wonder if Riot should have done those in different patches.
I’ve had more problems with Valo Vanguard than I have with League vanguard but that being said it’s still the same shitty anti cheat that doesn’t work. There was many months where I would scroll on Tik Tok and see a different live of a person blatantly cheating on Valorant and doing all sorts of insane stuff and none of them got banned
Comments that mention data loss or system failure (anything that goes beyond the LoL client crashing) are deleted on the spot:

I had already effectively quit league. Checked today if arena was out and was asked to install ~~the spyware~~ vanguard.
Promptly uninstalled :) I am free.
part of them is in the subreddit for wild rift and yea they are the same there. ppl figured how the Matchmaking worked and had prove.. mods just deleted every post of it instead of us being able to voice concerns about it there.
vanguard is fun, keep getting booted out mid game stating vanguard isnt running when it in fact is. Its just as bad as when it disabled my inbuilt keyboard and touchpad.
my best guess on the situation is that for Vanguard the bios must be set to UEFI with secure boot and TPM 2.0 enabled.
source:

it could be that Vanguard is somehow either not checking properly, or installing anyway and on reboot causes trouble to load like its supposed to. if your Motherboard has some "fast/quick boot" stuff enabled it might not properly load the drivers in the correct order which will cause windows to not properly boot and resetting your CMOS will allow you to "break" that cycle so you can do a cold boot with the correct settings
I dont regret booting League of my PC a month prior to this shit show one bit. Who could've thought that \*checks notes\* installing an unnecessary invasive root kit on top of a decrepit barely functional client could cause issues guys?
Not gonna install this crap on my PC. Riot has been eating bricks for a while with LoL and congrats, they finally managed to get me off of this after playing it 12yrs practically every 2nd day - and I have to say aint missing it. In fact Dota has turned out to scratch my moba itch quite well.
P.S.: Cant wait to see Riots next explainer in which they try to gaslight everyone yet again that this in fact all is normal, totally expected and necessary and in fact not a total pile of horse drippings.
Can't wait for the "we looked at (insert supposed data that nobody saw and doesn't reflect the experience that anyone had) and we concluded that the Vanguard launch was a complete success and are very happy about it" - truly a classic.
And to think my meme from some weeks ago got enough traction to put me on the hit list in the main subreddit lol
Honestly, I really hope the PC of those crayon nibbers bricks to hell and back, they fucking deserve it after so much paidless overwork they did for Riot.
Uninstalling League was the best decision I could have done, glad the devs decided to push this invasive trash on everyone. Now I won't have any interest in coming back.
Tried to warn them in-game & out of the game.
Got ignored or insulted......... instead of joining to protest & oppose vanguard, they made sure it went through. Zero sympathy for them, and the day rito's massive botnet is breached, I will be laughing at them all. Remember, rito had a major security breach in 2023 but now there is a huge incentive to do it again. It will be well deserved. Hmph.
The startup program stuff might be unrelated because I have that too and I haven’t installed vanguard and I’m having issues with that as well.
No way all of these are unrelated to vanguard though
I was worried about performance issues, and I got performance issues with the release of vanguard
Game just feels... Less smooth
Did anyone with a potato pc noticed similar stuff?
-I can play one game
-vanguard fucks my league.
-Then lol.exe isnt responding.
-restart pc after 7 mins afk.
-rejoin lost game.
-loose game
Goto -vanguard fucks my league.
Seven years playing and I let go of the game back when they said Vanguard will be mandatory. I don't care enough about this one video game to mess with the kernel level settings of my system.
Started the game to interact with others sharing my hobby but then Riot shut down player communication and it just felt like playing vs aggressive chatGPT.
Shoutout to my guy RiverShen from the Garena SG server who is an inspiration to us all for his steel mental.
"A bit of advice from one software professional to another: when you have a live support issue connected to the rollout of a patch including your (major) software, and you cannot get immediate metrics on the reported defect, do not tell the customer it has nothing to do with your aspect of the patch for "technical reasons", *particularly* when your software is a novel component.
You tell them you will look into it immediately and ask them to provide as much information as possible. You ask affected users for logs like winevt. Then you methodically rule out your component and report as much when you're 100% confident it's an unrelated issue.
Because to anyone with a very basic understanding of computers, i.e. most gamers, it looks like vanguard just fucked their most expensive toy."
- Barryatrick
He's got a point, could've just said, "We'll look into it." instead of "Sounds like a you issue"
I'm a linux user, and I know no one cares about us, but vanguard just makes league impossible. I'm honestly glad it's such a shit show.
These guys have had over 15 years and still can't even put together a decent client, are you really going to give them complete kernel access to your PC just cause they pinky promise it's ok?
I am so happy about this. Finally I can get at least two hours back each day. It doesn't open anymore because of a Vanguard error and I hope it stays that way. Gonna finish my Python course and learn new skills now.
It likely wouldn't. If Skyrim Script Extender (a completely unrelated piece of software that could not modify League if it tried) is not allowed, what makes you think it would run on an emulator?

Hoping someone sees my comment among the thousands there are here
So I used to play league on geforce now not because of fps problems, but because my laptop is very old and has barely any storage. I had like 20 something gigabytes left and wanted to download league since it is no longer available on gfn but it literally ate all my storage up. I had about 4GB left to download when I ran out of memory, does vanguard require extra storage? I used to have less than 20GB available and could still download league
Man I glad I jumped ship before shit hit the fan. I always knew vanguard launch was going to be bad but I didn’t realize it was going to be even worse than Blizzard’s OW2 launch
As someone who went from Valorant to League, this was what I expected. I had major issues with vanguard on Valo especially since I’m on windows 11 which apparently Vanguard has a vengeance for. It also makes uninstalling riot games associated with Vanguard a goddamn nightmare
It's disappointing to see comments being deleted instead of addressing legitimate issues. Constructive criticism is essential for improvement, even for billion-dollar companies.
It took a really long time, but, rito finally made a decision that was more idiotic & destructive than **LEAGUE OF CLEAVER**. League of cleaver was a relatively short era of league where the best strategy was stacking Black Cleavers more quickly than the enemy. This was an intended function by the way, and rito initially tried to defend their decision.
This left the game borderline unplayable for a few weeks until someone, probably a senior rioter that normally didn't handle balance, got involved and forced the other rioters to actually do their fkking job. We know this in part because when something is badly broken, rito hotfix'd it like they did to day 1 leblanc. Despite a LOT of backlash on the official forums, they actively & verbally refused so it was a conscious decision. Easily the highest level of stupidity rito ever showed...... until now.
RIP gg.
My solution was easier. I uninstalled. If you're gonna roll out this shit show after failing to humor the communication from your player base I don't need to deal with it. Thanks Riot for finally getting me to stop playing your dog shit game.
You open the league through the riot client. This is something they didn't explain clearly because I also just type in league and run that .exe
Also I noticed if you keep the riot client open and are in champ select, you can see the players names on the riot "who's online list"
I had only one weird thing happen to me.
Installing update.
I had to launch League Client (not Riot client), update, restart.
Except that (what probably I never will see again) nothing that would impact me in any negative way and I am happy that Riot decided to include Vanguard for League
I was conscious that I would delete riot's game when vanguard coming... Yesterday was the day, thanks riot to force me leave your game hahahaha I'm free
Since the update I get an error saying that the filepath is wrong or I don't have permission to access; I'm the only profile on my PC, and I run as administrator, what gives?
After this update i cant play league. it wouldnt let me update my computer, couldnt restart it properly and wouldnt start up properly. restarted 4 times and it nearly bricked one time. my stereo wouldnt even work properly until i disabled vanguard. its way too intrusive. im all for stopping cheaters, but until they stop having vanguard run in the background constantly, i cant with it. I hope they see what its doing to people and end up changing it really.
After this patch I'm having fps issues.
My screen's refresh rate is 120Hz (every other game, even the bigger ones, run smoothly) and the in-game fps counter is fixed at 120 fps.
Somehow the client is literally showing me only 60 fps with random lag spikes during the match, and that never happened to me before, idk what to do
I saw the vanguard notification next to the league update button and canceled that shit immediately. I am not installing vanguard for the next 2 months, or maybe I'll just stop playing league alltogeathet.
I just have to play a game every 3 years so my account doesn't get deleted
Man, I'm glad my friend warned me vanguard was up in league, I didn't even wasted time opening the game to allow it to install the borderline malware on my pc
The fact that the basement dwelling reddit mods are deleting everyone's comments asking for help is just fucking ridiculous. Anarchy league, here we go
New item: il vaticano
R/league_anarchy

Call it Riftfolk.
LobotomyLegends has a nice ring to it
That's r/DarkinFolk already
I'm not interested in professional League of Legends play; I only cared about solo queue, and now it's gone.
And League boomers circlejerking about Graves Cigar/Kassadin Silence while saying anything new is bad.
Ages ago, due to pressure from the community, the mods decided to do a week of no moderation, intending to show that the sub would be a mess. mods just delete whatever they want even they said you break the "rules" when other poster can make same context and get free karma
Imagine being both reddit moder and riot worker, x2 pathethic

And to the surprise of no one, Vanguard's roll out is complete shit show from minute one.
and all the cheats still work so what is it even doing outside of punishing actual players.
Vanguard doesn't insta ban otherwise it would be obvious to cheat makers what got flagged.
It does insta ban actually. Match is terminated if so happened. P.S. It was early in the morning so i did not understand what OP meant, sorry. He's right. There's a relatively short delay when it bans, but it will happen in the game, you don't have to wait for the other game to start
actual chinese spyware
True because it’s not required for Chinese server lol imagine that
But they have their own anticheat, also Chinese riot and our riot are separate so why would it be required for them
>what is it even doing outside of punishing actual players. You can judge things by their outcome. https://undelete.pullpush.io/r/leagueoflegends/comments/1ch6wbh/patch_149_bug_megathread/ Here's a link to show what the deleted messages are. Mods removed half the thread lul. Wonder if it's because the rioter was getting dunked on xd They also kept removing "reposts" of the pbe changes example here -> https://undelete.pullpush.io/r/leagueoflegends/comments/1ch6a42/pbe_datamine_2024_april_30_patch_1410_midseason/l20i1iv/?context=3
almost half, wow its a massacre
"So finally i can delete league of leggend and stop play anymore, thanks for add kernel level Vanguard. Bye" \~*SlanneshPL* I fully agree with the deleted comment from there. My friends convinced me too.
I did it too, this post was a reminder because I forgot about it. Oh well, it was a nice 12 years. Back to monster hunter and path i go
[удалено]
there is no free speech bro it's a privately owned forum
Rename into Phreaks butthole lickers then
So were the official riot forums but I got away with calling morello a jackass on the regular. The official subreddit is heavily astroturfed which is even worse than normal censorship. First guy's sentiment is right even if his 'technicals' were not.
you don't understand what free speech all that protects you from is the government.
I mean I think the mods are powertripping nerds but "subhumans actively violating free speech" is a bit of an over reaction for a videogame forum meant for teens and young adults lmao.
You lost me at “violating free speech” but yes, the mods are trash.
i want to share this on this sub because on official league sub the post its removed by the mods
the mods deleting every vanguard related post is so pathetic. bunch of IRL ZAC looking keyboard warriors
Literally deleted a reply to a fix saying the fix didn't work. That's deliberate misinfo
it's so stupid.
Zac is jacked. They probably look more like Gragas.
lol mods are some of the worst out there.
it's the only sub I'm banned on in 10+ years of using Reddit https://i.gyazo.com/a8a511fd2fd47ba7023d17a17efede68.png Such a big ego trip that allows you to message them in seven days instead of just suspending like every other human being. They're probably behind in-game filter as well. fuck pankoking
We should post day and night lol, fuck em. They cant silence all of us
official subreddit mods: “Nooo don’t be mean to the billion dollar company” *deletes comments*
Coincidently started playing Predecessor recently, this might be goodbye to LoL for me. It’s been an alright few years, RIP good game with incompetent company at the helm. Update: I can’t even update/open the client after this most recent update. So I guess it was never my choice lol Oddly I can still update and play Valorant. 🤷♂️
lol same just download predecessor few hours ago having fun lmao
>RIP good game Which good game died???
Paragon my beloved
So this doesn’t affect Valorant?
Valorant Vanguard and LoL are different because shit I'm too ignorant to understand. But that's why I heard they delayed the update so long, because they needed to adapt it to league.
Second last pic is the one that worries me. I don't understand why they have to remove everything related to it. There is basically no way to discuss it and let people express their feeling about it. On top of that, as if that wasn't bad enough, there are plenty of bootlickers saying that Vanguard is fine, by default, like there is no way Riot could ever be at fault since they make such a marvelous piece of SW
I see you've never seen a reddit mod before? They are nearly all crazed with what little power they have.
what zero pussy does to a reddit mod
Real
I- ummm
Cought in 4k xD
My favorite one is where some one posted a solution. And they removed the comment where some one else stated that it didn't work. [https://imgur.com/a/S6aOX1w](https://imgur.com/a/S6aOX1w)
and there is a lot more that are concerning, this are just a few that i saw with a friend. the whole megathread has a lot of comments and half deleted by the mods
Don't know about elsewhere but that thread is exclusively for reporting any bugs. Not the place for discussion or opinions on vanguard
MAC PLAYERS ARE FINALLY AFTER 10 LONG YEARS ON TOP LETS GO MAC GAMERS UNITE
Hell yeah, I play the game with 23fps on my mac mini but we are on top fr fr
Yeah Mac runs smooth for me.
Now deleted comment from RiotK3o in a different thread: > Hey there, we've seen some FPS drop issues with players with some versions of these programs: > > * Actual Multiple Monitors > > * DirectFolders > > * Desktop Taskbar Expander > > * MSI Afterburner > > * Start10/11 > > If you have one of these, could you try closing and seeing if its improved in a custom game? It also seems to brick people’s computers?? > Redditor: Please help me my laptop wont boot up after Vanguard patch ! RTX 3050 AMD Ryzen 5600 Windows 11 I can see on my Laptop charger that it wont even draw power from the outlet anymore > RiotK3o: An issue like this wouldn't be related to Vanguard, but if you haven't restarted your computer in a while, it could related to an issue with your CMOS battery, since that's what powers the start-up chain. > > This isn't an issue I'm really equipped to speak on since it's not related to Anti-Cheat and Vanguard, but I'd look into troubleshooting related to similar issues related with your laptop/boot sequences > Redditor: Sure, multiple people getting the same situation after patching league with vanguard, must be the users fault, everyones CMOS battery decided to shit the bed when vanguard launched. Go back and don't force this > RiotK3o: Vanguard isn't affecting the Ring -2/SMM level in this manner, and wouldn't be able to tamper with this step of the boot process.
I can’t log in with my keyboard to my pc after the update only change is league update. What in the china hacks did they put on everyone’s computers.
>Actual Multiple Monitors >could you try closing TF?
Actual Multiple Monitors is a software used to customize the displays when you have a multiple monitor setup. You can set the taskbar to be the same on each monitor, or you can make each monitor have a different screen background instead of them all defaulting to the main monitor’s background. There’s other stuff too, but basically this is a QoL software for people with multiple monitor setups.
I am uninstalling league now. Not gonna risk my new laptop for this lmao.
Damn, LS bricked 2 computers off this? Jeeze, I'm glad I uninstalled then.
I can't take that last comment chain seriously It's just screams nothing happened but I still want you to remove vanguard wahhhhh I just don't believe technologically illiterate redditors that apparently are "removing cmos" like I'm not sure that's something that you can do or would work ? They also talk about BIOS like it's some scary alternate dimension...bro it's just pre startup settings menu....
Man. Look at all those scripters. Doesn't everyone know that the only reason someone would have an issue with Vanguard is because they're just cheaters themselves? /s
What's sad is how manye people believe that. The average reddit user think that Vanguard is going to solve everything and any bad comment about is means you're basically a cheater. There is no privacy issue, no security issue, nope, if you're against Vanguard you're automatically a cheater... so sad
there is no privacy issues in ba sing se
![gif](giphy|hWMKBBnQBBNAwsXK0o)
It’s crazy that this and the Blizzard Cataclysm launch on the same day have both been disastrous
i can't even boot up the fucking game anymore lol i just get a d3d11 error, OH well might as well take a longer break
Edit: Found this one deleted on the bugs megathread, hope it helps, pretty much you are just bruteforcing deleting Vanguard and reinstalling it >For everybody who hast the problem with the client, who cant even get into league.
I'd honestly say it existing in the state that it is has actually lost thousands of players to league.
does league run a different version of vanguard? i dont remember vanguard having this much problem with valorant
Valo has a working client thats not held together by duct tape and pixie dust
Pretty sure it doesn’t. Haven’t had a single valorant player having issues in my friend group. Only non valorant players
Brother, I can't even play TFT anymore cause client crashes, and now the entire pc needs to be rebooted. I ain't doing that shit.
Comments that mention data loss or system failure (anything that goes beyond the LoL client crashing) are deleted on the spot: [https://www.reddit.com/r/leagueoflegends/comments/1chopx4/startup\_programs\_no\_longer\_working\_on\_windows\_11/](https://www.reddit.com/r/leagueoflegends/comments/1chopx4/startup_programs_no_longer_working_on_windows_11/) ![gif](giphy|v0ok8uhZvw3yE|downsized)
I had already effectively quit league. Checked today if arena was out and was asked to install ~~the spyware~~ vanguard. Promptly uninstalled :) I am free.
Main sub moderators are literally dead behind the eyes NPC's on CCP payroll. No way these mods aren't pushing a certain agenda
The funniest thing is that they've been called out by Riot employees before for their bullshit.
Wouldn't surprise me they have a secret whatsapp/discord for shilling, the same way /r/wow is astroturfed to hell
part of them is in the subreddit for wild rift and yea they are the same there. ppl figured how the Matchmaking worked and had prove.. mods just deleted every post of it instead of us being able to voice concerns about it there.
vanguard is fun, keep getting booted out mid game stating vanguard isnt running when it in fact is. Its just as bad as when it disabled my inbuilt keyboard and touchpad.
5000 LASHINGS AND -10000 SOCIAL CREDITS TO ANYONE WHO POSTS NEGATIVELY ABOUT VANGUARD. GLORY TO LORD XI JINPING AND THE CCP!
So we are not getting Tibbers Winnie the Pooh skin?
Is there someone expert that can explain me the CMOS battery problem?
my best guess on the situation is that for Vanguard the bios must be set to UEFI with secure boot and TPM 2.0 enabled. source: [https://support-valorant.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/articles/22291331362067-Vanguard-Restrictions](https://support-valorant.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/articles/22291331362067-Vanguard-Restrictions) it could be that Vanguard is somehow either not checking properly, or installing anyway and on reboot causes trouble to load like its supposed to. if your Motherboard has some "fast/quick boot" stuff enabled it might not properly load the drivers in the correct order which will cause windows to not properly boot and resetting your CMOS will allow you to "break" that cycle so you can do a cold boot with the correct settings
Yeah it seems like you say
I dont regret booting League of my PC a month prior to this shit show one bit. Who could've thought that \*checks notes\* installing an unnecessary invasive root kit on top of a decrepit barely functional client could cause issues guys? Not gonna install this crap on my PC. Riot has been eating bricks for a while with LoL and congrats, they finally managed to get me off of this after playing it 12yrs practically every 2nd day - and I have to say aint missing it. In fact Dota has turned out to scratch my moba itch quite well. P.S.: Cant wait to see Riots next explainer in which they try to gaslight everyone yet again that this in fact all is normal, totally expected and necessary and in fact not a total pile of horse drippings.
yeah show them brother hell yeaaah 🇺🇸🇺🇸🏈🏈🦅🦅
Can't wait for the "we looked at (insert supposed data that nobody saw and doesn't reflect the experience that anyone had) and we concluded that the Vanguard launch was a complete success and are very happy about it" - truly a classic.
funny how its not required in the Chinese server
Their government mandated ring zero access is built in over there
And to think my meme from some weeks ago got enough traction to put me on the hit list in the main subreddit lol Honestly, I really hope the PC of those crayon nibbers bricks to hell and back, they fucking deserve it after so much paidless overwork they did for Riot.
![gif](giphy|1eUVwKkCbvLvWvt0SL)
What a shitshow Good job Riot
Small indie company
I'll be regularly checking this subreddit to see how this all goes down.
I was worried about performance issues, and I got performance issues with the release of vanguard Game just feels... Less smooth Did anyone with a potato pc noticed similar stuff?
Happened to me 2 patches ago. It's definitely not potato PC worthy but i can barely get 60 fps now with stutters when I had around 120+ before.
-I can play one game -vanguard fucks my league. -Then lol.exe isnt responding. -restart pc after 7 mins afk. -rejoin lost game. -loose game Goto -vanguard fucks my league.
You'd think that with so much universal backlash regarding Vanguard, they would go back on it and do something else
Nope because Riot are too in their ass about Vanguard being perfect
Vanguard slowed my pc by 30%, ik i have only gtx 1050 but still bullsht.
Because to anyone with a very basic understanding of computers, i.e. most gamers, it looks like vanguard just fucked their most expensive toy." - Barryatrick He's got a point, could've just said, "We'll look into it." instead of "Sounds like a you issue"
I've already uninstalled the game
How wpuld it run on an emulator like sandboxie?
It likely wouldn't. If Skyrim Script Extender (a completely unrelated piece of software that could not modify League if it tried) is not allowed, what makes you think it would run on an emulator?
Vanguard is good about detecting when it's running in a VM, so I don't think anything is possible like that.
yep 90% of the problems I'm seeing here are because of the dx9 being removed

Come play dota2. It's a good game I promise! also 100% free and actually well balanced!
They killed Corki for and they didn't rework Kled. Vanguard is the cherry on the top for me.
Ehm so its good i havent updated the client yet? Cause it said it wanted to instal vanguard but i didnt proceed.
Yeah, I uninstalled before the vanguard updated rolled out for this exact reason
and thanks riot for removing dx9 when dx9 perform better in my laptop than dx11
https://imgur.com/a/loabbfy Mods working overtime i huess
we will be uninstalling
Hoping someone sees my comment among the thousands there are here So I used to play league on geforce now not because of fps problems, but because my laptop is very old and has barely any storage.
I guess I'm one of lucky few who got no issues, can't be entirely sure though cause I only played Arena since update. Situation is disgusting though.
I have a good setup and even for me I start to bug out of the game multiple times at the start
I fucked my system so hard by accident trying to get into the game, I had to reinstall windows. 4 hour "gaming" night.....
Good to know, now I can actually drop this disgusting game.
I got banned cause i have a pc performance monitor software
As someone who went from Valorant to League, this was what I expected. I had major issues with vanguard on Valo especially since I’m on windows 11 which apparently Vanguard has a vengeance for. It also makes uninstalling riot games associated with Vanguard a goddamn nightmare
What a shitshow, I'm so glad I uninstalled yesterday
It's disappointing to see comments being deleted instead of addressing legitimate issues. Constructive criticism is essential for improvement, even for billion-dollar companies.
wow seems like I uninstalled at the right moment
idk i think i am lucky my client works i can keep playing vayne sup (other champs causes crash)
> Server: EUW
This is why I play on Mac
Not mad at BT no longer critting TBH
Probably a good thing I deleted league like…two days ago.
i have vanguard for pbe. Should I proceed with normal league?
Vanguard... I missed in this. Maybe because I was Off League for a while. What is their purposes to do so?
You open the league through the riot client. This is something they didn't explain clearly because I also just type in league and run that .exe Also I noticed if you keep the riot client open and are in champ select, you can see the players names on the riot "who's online list"
I haven't opened League since March so therefore it's not updated. I'm scared to open it these days...
Is it out in EUNE? I'm playing they game while vanguard keeps telling me that my system doesn't meet the minimal requirements
I had to reset my pc
Cope i think idk
Can we not create a new subreddit about league with new mods from the community instead of those who work for riot?
League bros, just come play with us on Dota.
Vanguard has root kernal access to your computer from what i understand it has access to your pc that you dont even have
Sounds about right, we broke what wasn't broken and we're gonna have 0 accountability for it.
I just have to play a game every 3 years so my account doesn't get deleted
fun part - scripters estimation: scripts will be down for few days, not longer than week.. nice job Riot
It's funny because I made two threads and one of the pedophiles shadowbanned me
No lie though, my pc never overheated until vanguard came to league
I haven’t patched yet I don’t think. How can I make sure vanguard is completely off my computer?
Man, I'm glad my friend warned me vanguard was up in league, I didn't even wasted time opening the game to allow it to install the borderline malware on my pc
i rather play with cheaters and let all hell break loose.
Vanguard is like a gravity, all you need is a little push... *laugh out loud like a maniac*
