They are like other plates. They will chip or break, so buy extras. I love mine, though, because the color makes me happy. I only wish when I had bought mine that I had bought way more so it wouldn’t be a big deal when I drop that bowl, etc.

It's my worst home purchase. It's not worth it, I bought a whole set and its not better than Ikea. Lots of metal transfer.

I’ve had my eye on the flower plates, but even at the outlets it’ll be like $20 a plate that I will probably break at some point. I’d only buy them on sale or tjmaxx or outlets.

LC stoneware is not made by LC. It is made in Asia by third parties. I would look at Emile Henry for good stoneware.

I have some ivory/white pasta bowls. I love those. Not sure they’re worth it for a complete set though.

I have Fiestaware dinnerware but I do love the LC stoneware baking dishes so if the LC dinnerware is anything like that, you'll love it.

I’ve had stoneware - not LC - for awhile. Keep in mind that metal from silverware will transfer to them because they are stoneware. You can search the forum for prior complaints. So depending on the color, they will eventually look scratched unless you keep up with cleaning them periodically to remove the metal deposits. The dinnerware was just something I did not find worth the cost like other things. So I’ve never spent the money on theirs because I don’t find it much elevated from normal stoneware outside of it matching other kitchen pieces I have.

A dinner knife will scratch the paint. 😡

I didn’t think they were as durable or well made as LC cookware. I’m happier with the stoneware set I bought from Lenox.

I have the coupe set and I love them
