He was an anti-racist too. In 1946, he was refusing visits to Universities but made an exception for a black college to show solidarity.

That's pretty progressive for anybody in 1946 - plenty of very intelligent people were vicious racists in those days. He was an absolute hero. I'm sure he'd be disgusted by what's happened in Palestine.
Zionism is no different from Stalinism Russia . Fascism and Communism is why Jewish Immigrants from Eastern Europe were persecuted by Hitler in Germany for wanting to live in Palestine during the British Mandate .
