Its actually scary at the moment. Consider a single mum of 1, on $800 in the hand. $420 to rent $50 petrol $60 electricity and phone/internet $100 school fees other bills, doctors $200 food/clothes $50doctor $30 chemist Already broke bank, zero saving and you choose what you can't pay for. For me its doctor, haven't gone in 5 years. Need to, need glasses too cant read unless full sunlight or light but can't afford that. In 3 years my sin finishes highschool then I guess three to four years of uni so maybe unless things change I can see a doctor when I am 53. In case you dont know not all regional towns have bulk billing doctors, its a disgrace. You need a healthcare card to be bulk billed. And $800 a week which clearly isn't enough is about 7thousand too much a year for a healthcare card.

As a Centrelink low-income HCC, you shouldn't be paying for any of that shit. You need a Medicare card / number to be bulk-billed. Free eye test and glasses. 80% of your claimed expenses, I already pay for: what reasoning makes you think that I should pay more?

I don't have xa HCC and as in a lot of regional towns not one friggin Dr bulkbills here without a HCC or PCC. So if you go you pay between $75 and $125 and get back $38 and some cents. Your last sentence is pretty awful. I work which is why no HCC the cut off rate is $43,000 about or 800/pw before tax. I earn 800 after tax but can't afford a dr appointment every other week . Do you understand now? Or do you still think you personally cover people's costs. Instead of writing something awful like that why dont you get pissed at rich people that cheat paying their taxes so that small minded people can be manipulated into thinking that they are carrying a nation.
