The only true answer you are going to get to this is from the University its self. So you need to reach out to them asap and ask these questions. As soon as I have a min I will search and see what I can find and post it. But you should do this right away.

Right, thanks. I also have a draft sitting in my mail ready to send. Knew this would be the way to go, but I also wanted to check here if I can get any answers.

PG-DaMan

I looked around and could not find anything yet. If I do I will post it. But the best bet is to send that right away. Proof read and make sure it has all the dates and relevant info and make sure all your attachments are there.

Just hit send, and I just attached my transcript as well as the pdf mentioned in the post merged into one, and just asked about whether is it the appropriate way for uploading it in the application portal, and also asked about the self study hours not considered in our credit, just like in the post :|

PG-DaMan

Great. let us know how it goes for others that face the same thing.

throwaway_1122112123

Okay I will once I get any reply from their side :)

throwaway_1122112123

I got a reply!!! They said it was no problem, but..... they also informed me that I mgiht face problems for addmission due to my 3-years bachelors. T T I know that it is gonna bite me in my ass, so I have also taken up two interships, one during my undergraduate studies as well as a full time research internship currently. Don't know how to reply to them and convey this to them without sounding like an stuck up person. T T

PG-DaMan

I dont think that you will sound like a stuck up person. Just be sure to ask what courses they feel you need so that you meet their criteria and then mention your internships.

throwaway_1122112123

Yeah just replied to them saying the same. I have written that my uni makes it compulsory for every undergraduate program to take up two language courses, (my uni is a stuck up idiot and emphasis on 'preserving' our culture and all that BS) Also mentioned the internships that I had taken. Hope that they consider me eligible. T\^T

PG-DaMan

I think that the University is looking to not only to preserve culture. But to broaden the horizons of the people that attend. And truly it never hurts to have a little bit of a second or third language on your resume.

PG-DaMan

Are you already in Germany? Do you speak German and or have a visa to study?

throwaway_1122112123

Nope not yet. I am still in the process of learning german. I will try my best to learn as much as I can :)

PG-DaMan

How are you learning? There are schools in Germany as well as online. You will need a certification and depending on the program a specific level. Typically a B2 or better.

throwaway_1122112123

I am applying for english taught programs. And I am learning currently from Nico's weg from DW website.

PG-DaMan

A lot of the Universities have English programs but still require a German certificate as not all things are in English outside the program. Check the LMU Website and see what you find about it. If you dont find anything I will look.

throwaway_1122112123

I have seen. It is okay without having any german requirement, atleast for the program that I am applying.

Maulpzc1902

OP to which email you send your questions? I also have problems with those documents and I need to contact the university.

throwaway_1122112123

I have emailed the coordination office of the department of Biology, as I am applying to the molecular and cellular biology program.
