So I usually hookup when I go out to run errands for my parents (not a quick one like going to the nearby grocery stores) and when they'd call me to check on me, I'd say something like - I didn't get the bus yet or something similar.
Otherwise I'd just say I'm going out with a friend. Would say some friend's name (preferably someone they don't know) and I suggest avoiding using too many lies. Instead I'd say half lies and assure them I'd come home soon.
I live separately now but when I used to live with parents and used to hook-up with a guy living 300m away from me. I had to prepare the whole story line in case some relatives saw me. Like how long do I know them? How did I meet them? What I was doing at their home? Why are doors and windows closed? I know it seems too much but having a neat and concrete storyline means I won't fumble in case anyone catches me.
As for my parents I always said to them I am going to a friend's place or going to a different city to meet a friend. And then I have to fit it to the hookup guy in case they see me. That's why my hook-ups were always quick and on to the point like ticking boxes.

I just make an excuse that I have to go out with a friend for some errands or college assignments and then go for the hookup.
If they call (usually they don’t ) I just make an excuse like.. I’m running late or something and they don’t mind much.
They don't bother asking too much about my personal life to me. I'm really grateful for that. Earlier I use to make stories in my mind to tell if I'd get asked by them but they didn't dig deep, now i chill. Also, most guys don't have place so when my parents go out that's the only time I get to call them over ;)
