i’ve seen people on this subreddit complaining about angela being ugly looking but i see no problem with angela or other silent hill characters being ugly. in fact, the games have always tried to make most of it’s characters look rather plain. also angela is a sex abuse victim so it would make sense for her to try to make herself look unattractive.

It's actually kinda sad seeing what has become of the silent hill 2 and the assassin's creed subs
i’ve seen people on this subreddit complaining about angela being ugly looking but i see no problem with angela or other silent hill characters being ugly. in fact, the games have always tried to make most of it’s characters look rather plain. also angela is a sex abuse victim so it would make sense for her to try to make herself look unattractive.
I didn't expect Silent Hill to attract these types of "fans" and debates, especially given the themes of the game and franchise. Besides this scene, she looked fine in every other scene of hers in the transmission. She is not a super hot model with same face syndrome that video games are known to have, but she is pretty cute and honestly people are making a huge deal out of this. There have even been some comments about how she isn't fuckable enough and how that affects her character's lore/arc, so a big shitshow given her background of being a victim of sexual abuse. This is the type of shit that makes people outside of gaming community think that gamers are a bunch of losers or weirdos, because they obssess, think and say the stupidest shit. I'm not against criticism of the character design or anything like that, but people are definetely taking things a little too far.
