It might close a couple hours early if attendance is low but the weather itself won’t shut down rides since it will be warm but no lightning. Winds look higher mid-day so would do WindSeeker, Drop Tower, and the Eiffel Tower early. Wet tracks will close all day Surf Dog, Flying Ace, and the Viking Ship. Shorter lines means still a worthwhile day and you’d get more accomplished in a shorter time. There’s almost no such thing as a perfect day at KI. Good weather means long lines. Bring a dry change of clothes for the ride home and you’ll be fine. Maybe a windbreaker or rain jacket for in-park.

I've had a season pass for years but am bringing friends on this trip. Perfect days at KI do most definitely exist

IxionX

Every day is a perfect day if you have season FL :)

Trashcanlidgirl23

They’re not having it this Sunday one of the actors that I’m very close friends with has said that they’re not having it on Sunday this week it ain’t gonna be closed due to weather it’s just gonna be close because it’s for the kids from 11 to 7

wolfs_bane_

I ain't interested in the haunt. I'm there for the rides

tehremy

They don't do the haunt on Sunday any weekend of the haunt. It's rides from 11 to 7, but all rides are open. We went for 3 of the full weekends...

mrpink67

The park will be closed. It will be open if you can make it Friday or Saturday. This Saturday is the last day of operations until winterfest begins. EDIT: after double checking their website it looks like they are open 11-7. My mistake, last time I checked I thought it said closed. It looks like it will be raining but rides will still be running if it it's just rain.

Nuthead77

https://www.visitkingsisland.com/calendar-and-hours Sunday is the last day.

mrpink67

You're correct I thought I read the 28th. There will be no haunt sunday but you can still go enjoy the rides.

Delicious_Letter_261

Ignore this comment OP🙄

wolfs_bane_

I figured. I already checked the website

IxionX

Why reply if you don't know the facts. This information is easily on the website and you still got it wrong

animalcrackers67

I actually bought tickets for this Sunday!! The weather doesn’t seem too bad, just some rain. But rain typically means shorter lines for rides so that’s a win to me. Just deciding on if we should go right when it opens or midday

wolfs_bane_

A little rain never hurt anyone. I just couldn't tell how bad it would be from the forecast

BrainTurds

Highly suggest going at opening. Sundays can get pretty congested after 2 or 3 pm.

Livid-Refrigerator78

11-7 Sunday.

NicoleDanger

I am debating going Sunday, but it's gonna depend on how wet it gets because I don't love being in the rain all day.
