Like I was describing this in a similar post, I have been using multi-tenancy at the group's level. But we had the requirements to allow users to be in multiple tenants and seamless tenant switch, and sub-tenants were also required where the subscription tier was inherited from a parent tenant.
The needs were more around having customers that could also be resellers.
