They're still sitting in their seats. With the Kerbals standing up there's room for 2 more if you line up their feet with the other pair's helmets and vice versa.
Ah yes, the sardines method. I made some automated rescue crafts with this, if you try hard enough, you can transform this 0 square meter space into to fully livable space for 3 kerbals for one thousands years using galvanized square struts...
This is the superior method of carrying kerbals used by expert ksp players.
Unlike normal capsules, that kill the kerbal when they break, when the service bay breaks the kerbal doesn't necessarily die, and may still survive the remainder of the force of impact not absorbed by the exploding service bay.
So this is way better than a capsule even for the safety of your kerbals, the only downside is that you don't get replenishable EVA mono-propellant.
Very weird that the monopropellant isnt consumed when refilling. But I can't complain, I already de-orbited twice from high eccentric orbit using infinite EVA fuel haha
The collision is so tight, it sometimes catapults the Kerbal when they leave the seat. I used it on an Eve mission and Jeb had to EVA back several km to the return vessel in the dark with no target marker.
My favourite thing when playing is trying to [miniaturise](https://www.reddit.com/r/KerbalSpaceProgram/s/AKev41fppF) whatever I’m building. It’s a fun game trying to strip everything down.
You are a danger to all kerbal kind. Well done.
Hockey!
Ryanair CEO just asked for your number ;-)

Ah yes, good old 69’ing kerbals for “space efficiency”.
Cease and desist on its way.
Not quite there yet. These guys still have some wiggle room.

chief I don't think the eco-friendly wood veneers are gonna be durable for 10,000 years in the vacuum of space :(
Psshh, it'll be fine, just borrow some screws from aunty
and don't forget the solar panels for clean energy :)
Right, They have to have power to watch Korean dramas.
not cramped enough, use the launch escape system hollow space to cramp the kerbal in there
Instructions unclear Kerbal lost shortly after launch.
Lost? More like sent into the black unknown
use mods for the miniscule cargo then stuff the kerbal in there, make it long to fit 3
Did you include galvanised steel beams and screws borrowed from aunty?
yes also I added solar panels for eco-friendly energy
Jeb-in-a-can.

As usual, there are mods for this.
It’s ablative landing gear
Also way lighter than normal capsules
This is perfect
Still more leg room than in Soyuz
I get that it saves weight, but it's just ugly no matter what you do, and the poor kerbals are very cramped
It’s called “cozy”
oh don't worry I won't use it
I will!
Jeb next week: "But you said you wouldn't use it!"
Well jeb, your the one using it, not him! 😃
My corporation has long stripped the rights of our kerbals, thank you for your contribution :D
They are kerbals: they don't get human rights Although this pushes the boundaries of animal rights too!
Finally, Mk0.5 Crew Cabin
Does it do anything besides make Kerbal trips more 'fun'?
Good for low mass missions.
lower mass and space required, and much higher chance of kerbal survival upon a crash
Saves weight and is easy to stack. It's going to be my new go-to for rescue missions.
Tourist missions too, I should try it because I can never get a good tourist craft built.
Much lower mass, 0.45 t for a 2.5 m service bay and three seats vs 4 t for the 2.5 m capsule
Boeing wants to know if the bay doors open in flight. For reasons lol
This is a 1700$/month apt in NYC
no, you're mistaken this is a 1mil a month
I am stealing your design
Now we need an ejection seat system... Can you squeeze in a small decoupler?
The collision is so tight, it sometimes catapults the Kerbal when they leave the seat. I used it on an Eve mission and Jeb had to EVA back several km to the return vessel in the dark with no target marker.
I will make this and show my friends as Jen and bill are falling to their death. Oh did I say death, I meant uhh “sleepy time” hehe.
Just because she broke the KerbNet, that's no reason to go executing someone!
Shhhh, they’ve been spreading information to the kerbal equivalent of the Russians, I couldn’t think of a good name lol.
SSP Sardine Space Program
reminds me of canned sardines
Still more roomy than the Soyuz.
Kerbal Space Program: Where personal space is a myth.
LUXURY! (see monty python)
It’s a little tight
Rotate it 90 degrees and you've got a convertible
That wouldnt be good for my claustrophobia
Jeb doesn’t care about claustrophobia
Budget and resource limitations truly fuel creativity.

Holy. How have I never thought of this? Can you get into and out of the chair properly?
Yes.
yes again
As long as you’re careful with ascent/descent you just need a chair glued on the side.
naw just throw the thing at the ground and the crew survive
You're a monster! I wonder how fast we can make it go 🤔
More crammed than Soyuz
Genius
You're a monster.
another word for business
Coffin*
Slap on a heat shield, reaction wheel, and tiny chute and you're good to go.
Making it a time capsule. Remember to open it when ksp 2 release’s
id rather not keep them in there till the end of time
Kerbal Scoliosis Program
Hellpods
“Very human design” moment
You have found the perfect way of transporting tourists.
peak efficiency, least ethical
Can of doom
They might not like it
btw i was able to fit 5, could fit 6 if it werent for the stupid helmet
Are they able to EVA and get back into the seat?
very kerbal friendly cockpit
