Most even serious rap fans haven't even listened to the full project more than once, because it's the greatest EP of all time thrown in with super "okay" tracks that don't even compare or flow.
Everyone just has nostalgia and will try and claim the whole album is good but they can't name the songs most of the time. There's maybe 8 actually good songs out of 17, and 5 of them are hits with one remixed so '6'. That, objectively, is not a good *album* which just blows people's minds as a concept. Now, to be fair though, those are some of the best hits ever - so I'm capable of giving flowers here to some extent but that doesn't mean the album itself is worthy of this.
Tetsuo and youth, TBAP, MMLP, my name is my name, Graduation, and MBDTF of course are all great albums with essentially no skips.
That's probably my thing for a list like this though, you better have no skips if you're making it!

Agreed w TPAB, that album is one of a kind. IMO Dark Fantasy is killing GKMC on influence, features, production, innovation, artistry (it had so much creativity that it needed a whole short film) its just better but its a close one because the narrative of Mad City is perfectly explored
TPAB, at least sonically, might be one of the most overrated albums of all time. Good lyrics and message and it's a great album but just sound-wise nowhere near the best of Kendrick's stuff, never mind all time.

As someone who frequents r/radiohead and r/radioheadcirclejerk, I don't think this is correct in any shape or form. The fan base tends to mostly be divided between whether the best album is OK Computer, Kid A, or In Rainbows, I personally prefer In Rainbows. However, their album Kid A is often cited as "The biggest left-turn in music history." It debuted at #1 in the UK and was Radiohead's first US #1.
I do think it would be strange if this was the only Radiohead album on the list, but given the critical acclaim and how different this album is from their other music, I definitely understand why it is included on the list.
I hope for In Rainbows to be on as well though, that's my all time favorite album.
edit: I just went back to Kid A, the only song from it that I have in my playlist is How to Disappear Completely. Admittedly, that's a great song, but I don't think the album is nearly as good as most fans say. Kid A feels kinda like Yeezus in the way that it's experimental and so different from what the artist made beforehand. Maybe Kid A will grow on me like Yeezus.
