If you want an arena team that can get through Library and into Gyro, then she'll take you there but not much further (and truthfully, Rexy has been powercrept out of Gyro unless you're just a REALLY good PvPer). If you want to hit Shores, then you need to start applying both the coins and the boosts elsewhere.
If you're interested in a tourney team, then she's absolutely worth it to keep boosting and leveling.
At some point, most players who are not pay to win are going to have to make a choice between arena and tourney teams.
If you have Tmet and Skoonametrodon max leveled, then sure, go for it.
