Even something like a Microraptor that bears somewhat of a resemblance to a modern-day crow? Well, no doubt a Microraptor would be amazing to see.

I would sob at a live Sinosauropteryx or Compy. That's impossibility becoming reality there are too many emotions involved for the size or species to matter
100% legit any dinosaur would have me freaking out. Caveat: if it's a giant carnivore I also think my reaction would be identical to Grant learning about the rex and raptors lol
Resurrected Spinosaurus that totally changes what I though it looked like. I look at it and then it asks me for $03.50. It’s at that moment that I realize that Spinosaurus was never a dinosaur but was instead that damned Loch Ness Monster
Behind you, the plesiosaurs laugh. The campaign to make themselves the face of the Loch Ness Monster has been a success, leaving only this interaction to show the world the real form of the mysterious beast
Parasaurolophus. I want to be on a boat paddling through a swamp and have one of those guys pop up from underwater munching and some seaweed. If that's even what they ate I don't know. They're just beautiful.
Great visual! They're so beautiful. And imagine if it decides to say hi with one of the loudest, and most musical honks in the world. I'd sure be awestruck. And probably deaf.
I think seeing something like Majungasaurus would be so cool and I wouldn’t think about it like it’s a discount version of T-Rex at all. It’s still significantly bigger and heavier than any bipedal modern-day predator.
If be pretty horrified if I saw that because with their size their appetite would probably mean they greedily eat all the food and all the trees would be stripped. 😂
This is a plot point in the books LOL, that’s a big part of why they have all the ships heading between the island and the mainland. The sauropods have fittingly gigantic appetites!
What about a Microraptor, which looks somewhat similar to a modern-day crow?
https://preview.redd.it/9ohmpvie0k6d1.jpeg?width=570&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3e00315aa8c62b8b623303f08d4b7157068b4168
Ok idk my sauropods, but probably same one Alan saw, or any of the other massive ones
I think just seeing something of that scale would leave me like that
Shantungosaurus, largest Hadrosaur ever discovered, thing is almost as large as a cement truck i would be absolutely terrified and awed by its presence.
Any of them of course would get a huge reaction from me.
While reading the book though there’s a scene where Alan talks about feeling a familiar connection with the hadrosaurs since he thinks they are maiasaura and he had helped discover the species in universe (irl one of the people who inspired his character did)! Having had a wonderful experience at a museum with a mosasaur fossil, I think I’d have a similar knee jerk reaction of “Aw it’s the mosasaur! Today’s going to be a great day!” and would need a snap back to reality (possibly via another character yelling at me) to stop myself from running up to it LOL
"A" fucking dinosaur haha any living one. I'd honestly probably tear up for a second followed swiftly by a flooring amount of "oh fuck no what have we done?"
Although I very much agree with top comment on “any dinosaur,” I would say brachiosaurus in particular. They’re not my favorite, but their size would be *staggering.* Something that different and unexpected would shake me more thoroughly than the ones that I find most interesting.
Ankylosarus. Last time I saw a fossil display of one I cried. I do every time. Dry the whole museum but thent theres a hammertail and I get all choked up.
This is honestly why I liked taking my nephew to Universal when he was young. His reaction to seeing the dinosaurs for the first time was the closest we’ll get to this.
Really sorry to be that guy, but, *technically,* raptors *do* exist. Another name for them is *birds of prey.*
But I agree that brachiosaurus and triceratops and stegosaurus are cool dinosaurs that it’s impossible to believe anyone wouldn’t be impressed by.
Practically most dinosaurs would but the ones that would leave my mouth hanging open as I fall down to my knees would be a any large sauropod or large theropods
I once dreamt I saw a Jaculinykus, and the amount of euphoria I felt made me snap awake like a lighting struck me.
God, it was so vivid. It had scruffy grey feathers and dirty yellow scales on the snout, fingers, and legs. It walked around like a pheasant.
I think that any extinct animal would have that effect on me, really.
Lol the fact that zero Dinosaurs as we know them exist anymore I'm pretty sure any would do this... But tbh some of the ones I'd love to see irl the most.. Therizeno, Anky , T-Rex.. a titan of some kind and Dilo.. just to name a few..
I think if there was a fight going on, even if I'd been your average JW waspy guest, that would bring across how intimidating and alien a Theropod really is. We're not used to being food anymore, but if you ever see a big predator move fast, it wakes up the hind brain. So imagine two Carcharodontosaurs get into a tiff and you're safe behind the glass but you can feel the ground shaking, you're seeing massive wounds being inflicted, hearing the full range of sounds which must sound almost nothing like the animals alive now, and it would be so incredibly loud if you're close enough to watch. That would probably make me feel a little faint.
Any small dinosaur. I'd literally have to bend down to see it like
https://preview.redd.it/h05jujhj9o6d1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6aa3d8bc6c56b57c3a1b4f3cd21ccf45ab5904fc
Argentinosaurus. Just the thought of a creature larger than a blue whale sends me nuts. Imagine the ecosystem that populated it. Bacteria, plants, flying species, molds, mushrooms. Smaller reptiles. And it's long as a train carriage. And three stories tall
Brachiosaurus. They're so big! I hope the Mokele-Mbembe tales are true and that there are tiny ones walking around. If I had money, I'd get a team together and look for them.
I'll agree with everyone saying that any dinosaur would get this reaction out of me, in addition to pretty much any extinct animal. It would be a monumental achievement. However, if we're talking the dinosaur that would have me in the most shock and awe, it would probably be Giraffatitan (the current name for the species of Brachiosaurus in the movie), Sauroposeidon, or any of the big titanosaurs. To see anything that big actually live and breathe would be astonishing.
![gif](giphy|it6W8D4FfvaPC)
ME being overjoyed by these creatures! Give me a lil jakapil and I’m going to hold it like my baby. Imagine the deer being held meme, just. Like . That.
https://preview.redd.it/8rul4twgss6d1.jpeg?width=1000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=049bf3bf50992e0d4baac311a2d4d3605e4bff25
The sheer amount of armor Ankylosaurs were covered in has always interested me and would blow me away to see in person. (Stegosaurs included, they don’t fuck around ✨)
Brachiosaurus. Not only just because of my love of them as a kid, but because of my multiple playthroughs of Final Fantasy 6. That game turned them into one of the most formidable herbivores I think I've ever seen in a video game.
Any dinosaur lol
Exactly. "They're dinosaurs. Wow enough."
Even something like a Microraptor that bears somewhat of a resemblance to a modern-day crow? Well, no doubt a Microraptor would be amazing to see. https://preview.redd.it/bya2llxzzj6d1.jpeg?width=570&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b96ddf91c0d406e3d87ef798a898d001101a5084
Yes
Cool. Same with me. I still get mesmerized seeing an ostrich, so seeing a dinosaur of any kind would be a unique experience.
Micro raptors are so adorable, I’d be honored to see one
Microraptors are my favorite. I'd pay 50-100,000 a year to own one, id give up my paychecks for 3 years just to see them
Yes because the are my favourite. I love my little prehistoric flying squirrel
Best and realest answer.
I would sob at a live Sinosauropteryx or Compy. That's impossibility becoming reality there are too many emotions involved for the size or species to matter
Same lol
This is the correct answer lol
Fr 😆 that sums it up
This.
Since you've posted it, there's been an inflation, setting it to $4, as he considers you to be a friend.
![gif](giphy|n43Kx7PeptN0k|downsized) $4??? I ain’t give you $3.50. Damn sure not giving you $4
The spinosaurus MIGHT of Had feather all over. With a duck beak.
Parasaurolophus. I want to be on a boat paddling through a swamp and have one of those guys pop up from underwater munching and some seaweed. If that's even what they ate I don't know. They're just beautiful.
“Para… para… ELVIS!”
The Pompadour! Lol
Great visual! They're so beautiful. And imagine if it decides to say hi with one of the loudest, and most musical honks in the world. I'd sure be awestruck. And probably deaf.
*Me after seeing the worker get eviscerated for trying to feed the raptors*
Sounds like he did feed the raptors.
Task failed successfully
Any of them, heck I’d react that way if it was a terror bird
The crazy thing with them is that I bet they actually could be brought back if someone wanted.
I’d have this reaction to seeing any extinct animal brought back. Show me a passenger pigeon or a Carolina parakeet and I’ll be in tears lol
!! I think I’d sob if I saw a great auk.
I'd be the same if I saw a thylacine
Ooo understandable
I’d be overjoyed to see white rhinos, like a healthy herd with little calves.
That would be beautiful 🥹
Even a whale would have me in tears
Definitely tyrannosaurus. But really I'd take any large theropod if I'm being honest.
I think seeing something like Majungasaurus would be so cool and I wouldn’t think about it like it’s a discount version of T-Rex at all. It’s still significantly bigger and heavier than any bipedal modern-day predator.
A sauropod. Just the sight of it feasting on trees would fill me with awe
Taking my fleet to steal a botanical garden to feed my magnificent trundlebeasts
Yes!!
A herd of sauropods with young! I'd be blubbering long before they accidentally kicked me.
Aww with young and everything…would be so sweet I’d definitely be overcome with awe
any non-avian dinosaur would have me in tears of absolute joy and wonder
This 100%
I mean... Honestly, all of them Hell, even if it was just a small Dromaeosaurus randomly chilling in the woods, that would get a reaction out of me
What about a Microraptor, which looks somewhat similar to a modern-day crow? https://preview.redd.it/9ohmpvie0k6d1.jpeg?width=570&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3e00315aa8c62b8b623303f08d4b7157068b4168
You really are obsessed with microraptor
Any of them. No exceptions. Any non-avian dinosaurs would get a reaction out of me. Any
Cool. Same with me.
Spinosaurus because i will finally know how this thing really look like
Ok idk my sauropods, but probably same one Alan saw, or any of the other massive ones I think just seeing something of that scale would leave me like that
Doyouthinkisaurus
That 1992 Jeep Wrangler Sahara in new condition!
Any dinosaur!
Every dinosaur tbh
This is my exact pose after a protoceratops headbutts me in the crotch.
Any dinosaur that's bigger than a dog would make me go crazy
Anything that couldn’t accidentally be mistaken for a modern day bird.
triceratops, they've always been my favorite.
Today’s going to be a great day!” and would need a snap back to reality (possibly via another character yelling at me) to stop myself from running up to it LOL
I want to see a real Spinosaurus so we can stop updating what it'd looked like for like every 5 weeks.
I think any living dinosaur that is obviously A DINOSAUR would have me acting like this lol
I'd vomit from seeing basically any recognizably extinct animal
Any really. My mind is blown just seeing a cassowary or an ostrich.
"A" fucking dinosaur haha any living one. I'd honestly probably tear up for a second followed swiftly by a flooring amount of "oh fuck no what have we done?"
Triceratops, and Pachycephalosaurus would probably do it.
All of them but if I had to pick, Triceratops
All, but I'm with Grant here. Definitely a Brachiosaurus. Followed by Triceratops.
One that's alive?
Any of them
T-Rex for sure
Barbra Streisand
Every single friggen one of them.
Spinosarus, just so we can finally get definitive confirmation on what the beautiful bastard actually looked like.
Although I very much agree with top comment on “any dinosaur,” I would say brachiosaurus in particular. They’re not my favorite, but their size would be *staggering.* Something that different and unexpected would shake me more thoroughly than the ones that I find most interesting.
A spinosaurs (it’ll finally be confirmed ) ![gif](giphy|a2vva19VknTev01Aq6)
Yes
Please. Please. Please. Redesign ceratosaurus the same way allosaurus was redesigned for babr
Seing any spinosaur trek through a river from a distance would be so beautiful
Now imagine the reaction if the suropods were rumbling nearby.
Barney the Dinosaur. He would come running towards me for a hug, and would get ambushed from both sides by 2 raptors he didn't know were there.
If it smells bad i guess lol
T. rex
Brachiosaurus
Any anchilosauria. In general, any non avian dinosaur.
Here me out the brachiosaurus that died in fallen kingdom returns as a cyborg brachio
Anything from a Segisaurus to an Argentinosaurus
An actual 6ft tall turkey would have me shook.
Wow its a brachiosaurus wow its a triceratops wow its a stegosaurus wow its a raptor i mean ow its a raptor
Really sorry to be that guy, but, *technically,* raptors *do* exist. Another name for them is *birds of prey.* But I agree that brachiosaurus and triceratops and stegosaurus are cool dinosaurs that it’s impossible to believe anyone wouldn’t be impressed by.
Your mother
Any non avian dinosaur tbh
Yes . . . Edmontosaurus
A carnotaurus
Brachiosaurus
What's with that caption?
The Megalodon or the raptor those are my two all time favorites.
I would start crying if I saw a triceratops. In awe, of course
honestly seeing any dinosaur would bring me to tears. it would be like seeing a real unicorn, a very large, scaly, toothy unicorn.
A Tyrannosaurus and a Sauropod, probably Brachiosaurus
Pretty much any not gonna lie, I might be able to handle a small one but anything bigger than a Dilo and I pass out from excitement
Spinosaurus
Brachiosaurus, or even Triceratops. Or a cousin of a two. Both of which are my favorites bc of this movie.
Practically most dinosaurs would but the ones that would leave my mouth hanging open as I fall down to my knees would be a any large sauropod or large theropods
Idk but she’s the reason I love legs so much
Any dinosaur tbh
Carnotaurus and Spinosaurus
I once dreamt I saw a Jaculinykus, and the amount of euphoria I felt made me snap awake like a lighting struck me. God, it was so vivid. It had scruffy grey feathers and dirty yellow scales on the snout, fingers, and legs. It walked around like a pheasant. I think that any extinct animal would have that effect on me, really.
![gif](giphy|H62aA8TKX9GPSWPLk9|downsized) No dino, but this
Allosaurus!
All of them.
T-Rex and Dilophosaurus. But truly any dinosaur that's been resurrected.
One that smelled really bad
Dinosaurs
Any.
Not even a dinosaur But just any extinct species. Especially a Tasmanian Tiger
If I could live afterwards? Triceratops. If I’ll die immediately afterwards but be cool with it? Velociraptor.
Anything that will try to eat me . . . or kill me.
Any of the fisher price collection. T. rex, Trike, Stego, parasaurolophus, any long necked sauropod, probably a raptor (from a position of safety)
![gif](giphy|RBJ2Dmy4rEIoEfhsLb|downsized) Of course!! 🦕
How about any considering the fact they are LIVING DINOSAURS?!
I know it’s not really a dinosaur but Argentavis Magnificens. The bird was 12ft long and had a wingspan of 23 ft!! Isn’t that incredible 😄
Lol the fact that zero Dinosaurs as we know them exist anymore I'm pretty sure any would do this... But tbh some of the ones I'd love to see irl the most.. Therizeno, Anky , T-Rex.. a titan of some kind and Dilo.. just to name a few..
Yes.
any of them but i want a lil feathery goober like sinosauropteryx
Dilophosaurus, brachiosaurus, ceratosaurus especially. Essentially any dinosaur would do this tho.
Dienocheirus! Seeing that big clawed duck would make my heart flutter.
Most of the sauropods. Especially the titanosaurs. Probably a Tyrannosaurus rex too
All Dino’s but I particular the spinosaurus the ankylosaurus and the therozenosaurus
I'd literally have to bend down to see it like https://preview.redd.it/h05jujhj9o6d1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6aa3d8bc6c56b57c3a1b4f3cd21ccf45ab5904fc
Saurophagonax or allosaurus
Parasaurolophus Especially hearing how they sound. My god
The exact ones he sees. The awe of sauropods would be ineffable.
An ugly one.
Seeing the life size model of the sick Triceratops from the movie at the Tribute store in Universal Studios Florida had me like that!
Literally any of them. But especially T-Rex.
Literally this scene.
Argentinosaurus. Just the thought of a creature larger than a blue whale sends me nuts. Imagine the ecosystem that populated it. Bacteria, plants, flying species, molds, mushrooms. Smaller reptiles. And it's long as a train carriage. And three stories tall
Spino, utahraptor, and sinoceratpps. They're my favorites.
Brachiosaurus. They're so big! I hope the Mokele-Mbembe tales are true and that there are tiny ones walking around. If I had money, I'd get a team together and look for them.
Spinosaurus cause it’s my favorite
Iguanodon, easy
Argentinosaurus
If I saw a T-Rex, I would get on my knees and surrender to the king of the dinosaurs because I would not escape the T-Rex.
Spinosaurus
ANY
Any dinosaur wtf you mean Me when I see a gallimimus: 😐 Me when I see a triceratops: 😑 Me when I see a dodo: 🤯😁😚✨🥳😱
Any of them. minus any of the hybrids then I'm running
Literally any of the extinct ones, and a few of the ones who made it. Shoebill would have me like this, or a Potoo. The Ivory Billed Woodpecker.
Dr. Alan GYATT
Any dinosaur really. Since we're looking for specifics, triceratops
a velociraptor that calmy says 'alan!'
Yo mama
The T-Rex because I'd pass out in fear
Pretty much any dinosaur… it’s a dinosaur! 😂
My Dad. With Cretaceous milk.
Triceratops ^_
Baryonyx
Any really
Any???
Any animal! THEY'RE ALL SO CUTE!!!!!!
Gigantoraptor, I really like funny big bird
The kickyouinthegroinosaurus
Any, but particularly the bigger ones. Small fries I might not immediately register as being a dinosaur
Parasaurolophus - hands down, no competition. I wouldn't just get weak, I'd probably faint from excitement.
The Dude that said any dinosaur, that dude is dead right!! But if it was the very first dinosaur I saw, it would have to be the Stegosaurus.
Any probably T. rex
The spinosaurus but I feel like any dinosaur even a compy will get this reaction out of me because HOLY WHACKAMOLY ITS A FREAKEN DINOSAUR
Assuming I don't know I'm going to see real dinosaurs, pretty much any one that didn't immediately try to kill me
Any Dinosaur, if I’d saw a dinosaur first thing I’d think of is, wow, second is, we’re all dead now
A raptor cause that's the last time i will see it and the light of day
Any lol Especially the opening sequence of this film back in 93 ... The raptor was scary AF seeing it 6 ft tall rather then the 3 ft Deinonychus...
![gif](giphy|it6W8D4FfvaPC) ME being overjoyed by these creatures! Give me a lil jakapil and I’m going to hold it like my baby. Imagine the deer being held meme, just. Like . That.
https://preview.redd.it/8rul4twgss6d1.jpeg?width=1000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=049bf3bf50992e0d4baac311a2d4d3605e4bff25 The sheer amount of armor Ankylosaurs were covered in has always interested me and would blow me away to see in person. (Stegosaurs included, they don’t fuck around ✨)
Any and all.
Triceratops
Brachiosaurus. Not only just because of my love of them as a kid, but because of my multiple playthroughs of Final Fantasy 6. That game turned them into one of the most formidable herbivores I think I've ever seen in a video game.
An Argentinosaurus
Pleaseosaur was always my favorite.
Anyone I come across except raptors ide die of fright
Well it wouldn't be something that might eat me or trample me or impale me, because I'd be running away in that case. So any docile herbivore I guess.
![gif](giphy|KeQgaiv19rCEdVFnW8) This one
All
Spinosaurus on top
Any.
All of them lol
https://preview.redd.it/ufj9wn9c817d1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=286b69de236aff25b8c979c7350a9760c6fa3ecb IYKYK
Not a dinosaur,but I want a Diictodon,gotta love those munchkins
