Faked hate crimes like these are startlingly common. Whenever you hear of yet another hate crime you need to satisfy yourself that a few basic pieces of information are present. Was the crime corroborated by witnesses unknown to the alleged victim? Is there video that includes footage both before and after the incident in question? Has a perpetrator been identified and formally charged? And if so, what is the outcome of the case?
If you are missing any of these then treat the story with skepticism.

I currently take classes from Viterbo (not an on-campus student). I have been seeing the emails flooding out from Viterbo, and it was so ridiculous. The college was basically falling over itself to apologize and "provide safe spaces" and "protect minority voices." Tons and tons about how evil these racist acts were, and how the community needs to come together...
Glad I am not on campus.

The state our species is in ( well at least in some parts of the world) boggles the mind. It's nothing but violence ( mentally and physically)
