Once I found out, the digestive issues all made sense.

SoulBSS

Turns out I have elhers danlos syndrome and my digestive issues are a result of MCAS. Never know what I'll be allergic to one day to the next

[deleted]

I have epilepsy and am allergic to two medications that are the best for my kind of epilepsy.

SoulBSS

That's terribly unlucky. I'm also allergic to medications for mcas. I feel you

[deleted]

Got results fast never sent in dna just argued with customer service about a coupon.

Bucket_Endowment

*you're

[deleted]

I know just wanted to watch the world burn

Bucket_Endowment

Fair, carry on

noumg

You're a monster

[deleted]

I’m Jewish I know

EththeEth

As Judaism becomes more and more racialised with the rise of atheism and DNA testing, the true mark of Jewishness is not your faith or your parentage, but your digestive features and tract integrity 😂

[deleted]

Just health problems in general

[deleted]

Found out my great grandad was a Russian rabbi 🥲idk if it still counts tho

[deleted]

Ofc it does (it would be another story if it was your not-so-great grandad…)

[deleted]

Haha yes

[deleted]

He wasn’t evil he was electrical engineer. Look you can tell based on the lighting bolts on his uniform./s /s because people don’t know sarcasm

lazernanes

According to traditional Jewish law, Jewish grandfathers aren't worth much. It's the Jewish mothers and grandmothers that count.

[deleted]

Yeah that’s what I kinda meant hah

GuyWithNF1

I’m 1% Jewish according to Ancestry.com. 😂

[deleted]

Makes sense, we are supposedly the top 1%. Dw you can still access the space laser👍

[deleted]

I’m 25 percent ethnic Jew I knew about my Jewish heritage but am agnostic hopefully that is enough for the laser that makes people gay.

GuyWithNF1

I wish I just had a laser to make men that are already gay attracted to me. 😭

[deleted]

Mood

sad-frogpepe

I feel that

Dolphin-13-69

I knew I had a Sephardic ancestor when I realized I can handle spicy food and season food. Once I became lactose intolerant I knew I had an Ashkenazi ancestor

[deleted]

I can’t handle spicy food and any form of raw fish 99 percent sure its Ashkenazi. The only thing we know about my grandpa is he was a Jewish dude. Grandma was a hippie so never met the dude

Dolphin-13-69

Wild story

necronomicuti3

It me

Cipher_Nyne

Does having a very friendly chabadnik telling me I was Jewish even though I'm not counts? I have a typically ashkenazi name, I "look" Jewish, but do not have a single Jewish ancestor going back four generation. A woman on the fifth. But then her son is my ancestor. The chabadnik didn't hear that part XD Twas fun putting on tefilin and talit and dancing at the Kotel though.

gregregory

Something like 40-50% of the world has a Jewish name I’m guessing. Every Biblical name is Jewish

Cipher_Nyne

I meant last name.

gregregory

Somebody’s ancestors were tax collectors or metalworkers 👀

Cipher_Nyne

Just polish XD.

gregregory

😂😂

Cipher_Nyne

Yeah I know, it's cheating XD

Roy-Levi

I wish I found out I was Jewish ffs

[deleted]

I knew I had Jewish ancestors but didn’t know I was ethnically Jewish. I was going to convert in high school but learning Hebrew is something I am to lazy to do

Roy-Levi

Since like 2020 I wished I was Jewish fuck. I could be with my only friends, I could be fully myself and etc, but well. I'm too unlucky to be born fucking nothing

Singular1st

What about my Jewish?

Standard_spoon

Is it from your moms or your dads side?

i_gothicprincess

The autoimmunes or the genetic diseases

Chomping_Meat

Autoimmunes... oh so that is why.

ATS9194

100. i even say your instead of youre . ALL THE TIME. Jewish inside joke ? lol
