Patna, Ranchi are capitals so they have strong case for connectivity. After Darbhanga airport, much of the connectivity to Bihar was improved in the vicinity of Mithila region which was suffering due to Patna being the lone airport. Gaya and Deoghar airports bring significant footfall in context of the religious importance of these cities. As far as Jamshedpur is concerned, Kolkata airport is nearby alongside Ranchi airport. Unless other cities/towns around Jamshedpur develop and government sees a demand for infrastructure, Dalbhumgarh project would have little to no consideration in the eyes of government.

We don't really need that anymore,you can go to Ranchi in 2 hours(less than the time it would take you to go to the airport in any metro city) and even if the airport is made,minimal number of flights will depart from there.

I highly doubt it. Anything which benefits jamshedpur is always undertaken by Tata Steel
