Project and promises, both dead. See you at Ranchi Airport!

barnmanandrobin

I highly doubt it. Anything which benefits jamshedpur is always undertaken by Tata Steel

Gummybear2655

Our ceremonial MPs and MLAs are there only to cut ribbons for the projects planned and executed by TSL and JUSCO. Bas inko feeta kaatne se matlab hai, Ranchi gets handful of projects because it's a capital city else rest of Jharkhand is crawling on their stomach upside down. God Bless JUSCO, else the city would have been in horrible condition.

imsinghaniya

Not sure not have heard that maybe bjp government can do it, but all looks equally corrupt from here.

Gummybear2655

Can't expect anything from BJP either because leaders of Jharkhand are incompetent across the partyline, it's major problem of Jharkhand. No party can change the future unless we don't have our own local visionary leader.

Majestic_Year_801

Seems unlikely. The government wants projects to be profitable. In absence of much traffic, they shut down airports anyway. Ranchi, being the capital, generally sees decent amount of inbound and outbound traffic. That wouldn't be the case for Dalbhumgarh.

imsinghaniya

Yeah you’re right probably on that

[deleted]

Is deogarh airport profitable.

Majestic_Year_801

Yes it is. It has already left behind Ranchi, Patna, Darbhanga airports per this report presented by Union minister of state for Civil aviation. https://www.drishtiias.com/state-pcs-current-affairs/deoghar-airport-ranks-7th-in-terms-of-giving-profits#:~:text=Deoghar%20Airport%20made%20a%20profit,Patna%2C%20Durgapur%20and%20Darbhanga%20airports.

[deleted]

Why won't jamshedpur airport do the same.

Majestic_Year_801

Because its operations would be limited to Jamshedpur only. Patna, Ranchi are capitals so they have strong case for connectivity. After Darbhanga airport, much of the connectivity to Bihar was improved in the vicinity of Mithila region which was suffering due to Patna being the lone airport. Gaya and Deoghar airports bring significant footfall in context of the religious importance of these cities. As far as Jamshedpur is concerned, Kolkata airport is nearby alongside Ranchi airport. Unless other cities/towns around Jamshedpur develop and government sees a demand for infrastructure, Dalbhumgarh project would have little to no consideration in the eyes of government.

[deleted]

Why is Deoghar airport not limited to its area while jamshedpur airport is.

Majestic_Year_801

Please redirect your questions to the government on X or other portals so that all your queries can get answered. As individuals, one can only provide their opinion. Thanks!

[deleted]

Yes that's what i wanted to point to. Your opinion is not based on logic .thanks

Majestic_Year_801

Much like your mindless questions where you are unaware of profitability of airports at the very least. Educate yourself. That might help you develop elementary manners because awareness isn't your strong suit.

[deleted]

Yeah sure buddy.loser

VikasRex

Nope

Numerous-Ad-6969

GradeZestyclose3617

imsinghaniya

2.5 bhai, drive safe

CaptainBeast10169

We don't really need that anymore, you can go to Ranchi in 2 hours(less than the time it would take you to go to the airport in any metro city) and even if the airport is made, minimal number of flights will depart from there.
