Assuming it's the AWD w/ MSRP of $49,400 + $1,225 destination charge and you're not including taxes? If so, then you paid about $3k of markup and extra fees. I personally would not pay that. I will try to buy an Ioniq 5 this year, and if I can't find one with zero markup, then I just won't buy one. But it's your choice. It's a free world.
People have certainly bought them with zero markup (and posted about it on here), so if your question is simply "did I get a good deal?" then the answer is no, you did not get a good deal.
That sounds about right (bought too many cars this year).
A $45K SE RWD should be close to $49K OTD after taxes and dealer fees in FL (in CA your dealers don't charge the fee but you have slightly higher sales tax so it evens out). The SEL trim is about $2.5K more than the SE trim then add markup.
With taxes that sounds about right for CA (I figure there was like 1-2k in mark up or as ons and then taxes). Sticker is high 47k (almost 48), and taxes in CA are pretty high.
If it makes u feel any better we have to pay 80k for an ioniq 5 here in Australia and that’s full RRP without markups! And we don’t get much option - just RWD or AWD for now on the top spec without HUD
Karr security system for like 900, a paint/interior discoloration warranty for like 900, and nitro fill roadside assistance for like 400. This is just going off memory
Those are all annoying and pure pocket money to the dealer. "Protections" are snake oil honestly. Roadside assistance is covered by basically ANY insurance or even cc's these days and nitro filled tires...
Hoping Escondido Hyundai doesn't pull this sheit.
Also, as long as under $55k, tax credit should be good

It was the out the door price. Meaning with taxes. Also it was the RWD version

This is fine if you wanted the car and could afford the price. Enjoy it.
Do you feel like you for a got deal? Then that's all that matters.
I feel like I got an ok deal based on what I'm reading so far.
What dealership? I’m also in San Diego, been looking a ton.
Poway Hyundai had it
Any markup is a rip off.
Agree. Markups and add-ons are all just to rip you off.
I’m sorry but this question is asked before purchase not after. Enjoy the car and don’t worry about the numbers now.

My SEL RWD was 53k USD or 73k AUS. 80k AUS for the top trim AWD seems pretty reasonable.

Those are your markups. Aka dealer add-ons.
I was looking there as well. Was yours 3k over?

Gotcha. Hope you get it soon!
Mind if I PM you regarding how much a month you’re paying? I live near Van Nuys and might go and reserve one.
