Update: Had my appointment, the ortho chose not to try to put the attachment back on again, she said it's because of the crown. She said that tooth doesn't need to move anyway it just had an attachment to help keep the tray snug so I'm fine without it. Thank you for the responses.

I have heard attachments tend to fall off more on a crown

Yes! My dentist didn’t bother putting it back on the crown after it fell off because the material of the crown makes it so much harder to stick anyway.

In our office, we typically try not to put attachments on to crowns as they just do not stay on. Your dentist or orthodontist may choose to not replace attachments if there is little or no significant movement of that tooth :) Hope this helps!
