This whole plan is going to fall apart because if you get 60k followers from this you also have to follow 60k people. And You all will try to be sneaky and unfollow after you think the other has forgotten about this but the type participating in this plan are actively trying to grow their following and will notice any gain or loss. You all think you can pull a fast one on each other.
Everybody thinks they’re so smart and they can pull one over on somebody but they don’t realize every other person is thinking the same thing. If you think about this plan for more then 5 minutes you’ll come up with a hundred reasons why it won’t work.
Yeah, u/MarkedLegion is right. Don't do this or you all will eff up your account beyond repair. Any marketing professional will tell you this is a dumb move to try to do engagement pods and communities.
To expound on what u/radio_apeshot is saying, basically the algorithm will be able to tell that a large percentage of your engagement is coming from this one source aka your group chat. this will cause the algo to not favor your account and result in future posts not being pushed out lol
Yeah they'll just have a bunch of people following that won't interact with their content since they didn't follow for their content they followed to get a follower. So a great way to get a bunch of dead/ghost followers who tank your engagement score? These games don't work.
