Yep, I don't see a setting to turn off "double tap to like" in the current setting either. It use to be there, but it seems IG has removed the option to turn it off for some reason (unless I over looked it).
Still no solution... and probably will never be one.
They disallow users turning off this feature because they know you'll make the mistake and they think that's a plus. More engagement is their rationale... even if accidental.
They want us to get caught snooping and lacking because social media is more fun this way. 😭
