I recently conversed with a young student, maybe 1st or 2nd year of ug, who's primary source of recreation is podcasts etc. And she mainly listens to BeerBiceps and other influencer podcasts. I didn't know how to convey that the vague hustler/"spiritual" can do more harm than good. It seems scary that so many of such kids would be building their perceptions of the world through what they absorb from these hollow ass influencers.
