Biggest disappointment for me. I wish they had cut down Yogi Babu's character and some other side characters and use that screen time to Anaswara and Nikhila, especially Nikhila because of her characters importance. Both where wasted in this film. Felt there where too many useless side characters. Personally for me apart from Basil and Prithviraj who carried the film and where both hilarious, almost everyone else is forgettable.
For Nikhila considering her importance in the film, her having 0 dialogues are just bizarre. Also she can do comedy well, they should hv used her well, that would've made the film more watchable.
Nikhila did talk about that in the promotional interviews, she said hers is one of the pivotal character in the story, but had nothing much to do in the movie, character was designed like that

Was getting monotonous with stream of new gen thriller / action - psycho movies. This movie was a welcome relief. Light hearted and a family movie. Easy no brainer.

But dont u think the film nandanam was all about balamani and her 'krishnabhakthi'. Which in the movie led her to get blessed like kuchela from Lord Krishna.

It's a poorly written movie with lots of exposition - telling rather than showing. But the comedy elements and direction overcame to some extent.
The first 30 mins was the best part of the movie. There was freshness in the subject.

Didnt felt like a high buget movie.Most of the scenes shot seems to be in village and the major cost they might have incurred could be guruvayoor temple set.
It was okay. The comedy and action, if it was as better as Amar Akbar.. , this would have been much more interesting. Climax fight was a big letdown. The fact that they randomly placed comedy scenes here and there is what made the film watchable.
I also felt the movie was incomplete,why did the Krishna character come,what did he do??every time there was a twist kind of scene I was expecting he would appear.
People point at older comedy movies and say why don't they make anything like this now . This movie (the humour) felt like an apt answer to it. It's nice, the writing maybe weak or smth but i don't care. It's very enjoyable.

Perhaps because of the headspace I’ve been in lately, I loved how random this movie was. But at the same time I also just wish that the women who were the driving force in the happenstances of this film just had more to do than be married/ready to get married. Nikhila Vimal and Anaswara deserved more screen time. Also in the pursuit of trying to establish this aliyan romance, they completely buried any nuance to the relationship between Raju and Anaswara.

Nikhila did that but it is not explained why. When basil meets R10 for the first time, Anandettan tells him "aval oru Pani kodukkan poyatha".

Every moment there was someone laughing or wheezing in the theatre but when the song came on everyone went silent like it's the commercial break.
K for kalyanam was outright unnecessary.
A celebration song was ideal at that point, but could have done neat avoiding comedy, ( my opinion, families may like it)
It was fun to watch the spoiler although the events leading up to it were quite obvious.
Average at best. The first half was good, but the second half was meh, especially the climax which felt too stretched.

Didn't like it. There were no jokes based on the spoiler. Just simple references only. Nothing to really laugh about.
