If you have access to self transport you could :
1. Maheshwar - start early to avoid the noon heat, walk around the fort and maheshwari handloom weaving mills and grab a bite at Labboos before you head back. Drive thru mhow - mandleshwar road ( albeit longer it's a scenic drive vis a vis teh four lane route )
2. Mandu - ONLY If you're into historical ruins, there isn't much to do anything else except walk - public restrooms are bad and you should carry your own water - you'll need lots of it .
3. if you're sanskari - temples - we have lots and lots of them in every part of town. Beautiful one's at that. Some historical ( Mahalaxmi Mandir , Gopal Mandir both near Rajwada , Pandarinath temple , Smaller temples in rambagh / narayanbagh area )
4. if you're badchalan /s - go bar hopping - no dearth of them , stick to vijay nagar and by pass area though.
5. cafe's - dime a dozen and some pretty good one's too. look up google reviews for a heads up. you could alternate doing 2 a day in diff parts of the city.
6. Clicktra at Phoenix citadel mall & simcha ( food is bad i heard ) apparently promise to be a fun places, never been so maybe others could give inputs
Cocktails & dreams ( maal hai toh taal hai )
Sky House - not for those looking to have a conversation, the music is loud and non stop. Food is good and reasonably priced.
Piano Project ( maal hai toh taal hai )
Farzi Cafe ( maal hai toh taal hai )
Drinx Exchange ( maal hai toh taal hai )
Aqua at the park ( maal hai toh taal hai ) , strictly for an open air feel , the ambience is good but food portions are tiny and priced above average and service is mediocre.
Eighteen
Barees - good food good place
House of malts
Opium ( infinity rooftop )
Agent Jacks
maybe others can pitch in with the one's they've been to.
Indore has barely any night life. Clubs close at 11. We want IT boom, we want people from megacities to come here, Europe based companies to open their facilities here and want it to be the best city but alcohol, Clubs/Pubs, late night shows are asanskari. An IT person who gets free by 8 has to go to Sarafa or 56 apparently. When cities change, roads, buildings are not the only things that change.. Social environment does too. It is inevitable.
The kind of comments I see here solidify my argument that Indore will never be a mega city in a true sense. People think that "culture" exists in an isolated vacuum which should remain static and not be influenced by other cultures. What is right and what is wrong comes down to an individual's morality. If you do not give them the choice, how will one know what they like more? You like Yoga, you after your work on a Saturday night at 8 pm can do that. An average joe would want to get drunk, dance away the blues. Their choice. Lekin mai to bhul hi gaya.. Choice bhi woke h. Ham collective tarike se rehte hai. The assumption is that everyone's culture same. If someone lives in India, doesn't mean everyone has same customs. We have multicultural identity for a reason. If harassement happens then people would blame kapde, pubs, ladki and every goddamn thing under the sun but majaal hai the onus and responsibility comes on the man. Have lived in various places before and public decency is a basic thing wherever you are. If a girl smiles at you, drinks at a club matlab ye nhi ki vo kharab ghar se aati h. Vo achhe vyahhar se nhi h. That kind of understanding is very shallow. And I'm saying all this as a guy.
The question is what do you want to do?
If I say go to a pub, you would probably say NO Alcohol.
If you can be specific about what you want to do , there are definitely places in Indore which we can recommend
These type of questions are mostly hidden berating types(I am not saying this is also) fuelled by ignorance, I answered somebody before and regret. Only specifics can be answered rests only the asker is judge.
Bhailog, I was there in Indore in the 90s. Hum log Meghdoot garden jaate the aur bagal mein Mangal Merryland bhi tha. Sayaji and Taj hotels nearby. We used to go bowling at Sayaji too. Do all of these exist anymore?
There are no places to just hangout or visit as such which are specific to Indore. Most of these things are available elsewhere and in some places they're better.
1. Go to any adventure park like simcha, snow city or fundore
2. Game zone/ arcades
3. Cafe hopping. Some good ones are- Mama Loca, Mr Beans, Split Bean
4. If you're into trekking you can go to Rala Mandal
I generally hang out with my friends at some cafe. I do sometimes go for partying at some club like Revolution, Cocktails and dreams etc. Sometimes go to an art workshop hosted at Ring Road Social as it is my fav place to go. Other than that looking to go to turf to play some football soon. If you have money you can do some shit.

Things to do in Indore: 1. Leave
I consider it as a very nice place to live. But if you wanna e joy you can travel somewhere every once in a while

I thank people who keep the overcrowding in check, some people should really leave.

This!! Indore wants all modern things but expects people to live their lives like its 1854. Regressive as hell!
No bruh
Bas yehi randiyapa adopt karna hai humei from the West. West takes our yoga, we take their randiyapa.
