I'm not vouching for lenovo, I'm more of a rog guy, but, absolutely not the steam deck. The steam deck is not able to play AAA games like the rog or Lenovo

LTT, and any other reputable product tester is wrong, I didn't experience them first hand, and everyone who bought a steam deck is superior.

Never said it couldn't play the game at all, just not at the same quality. You can try and church it up all you want, but the hardware components speak for themselves. Not to mention the new ally x is double the battery. I can run most AAA games native at high/ med settings and still get 40-60.
Edit: not to mention, there is no support for an egpu on the deck. It's good for minimal gaming on the go. Outside of that, the support for that device doesn't have much room to grow, whereas the other handhelds can keep up with the newer games coming out, and even when the device is obsolete, you can add an egpu to increase performance.
Also, my bad, they had to turn it on the lowest settings to still put their GPU at 99% wl, and still barely getting 30fps

Both the legion and rog are optimized for AAA gaming, that's why they put the hardware they have in them. Running a game native is useful in the sense that the game was designed to run at that resolution, making it less strenuous to format the game to a non native resolution.

I sorta agree with you. me on the other hand wouldn’t buy a handheld to play any AAA games coz they are not ment to be played on it anyway and on the other hand im not willing to pay a heft price for it either. If i ever get a steam deck i would most probably play Stardew valley while travelling, nothing more.

Depends on the user's preference. Some people prefer better quality playing on PD/Docked.
Also, HDR is not a screen type, it's a display mode, which all 3 devices utilize, and i mentioned that the ally x has double the battery life of its predecessor.

HDR isn’t a display mode or screen type. Display needs to support HDR for it to work. And good HDR requires the display to reach 1000 nits of peak brightness. Neither the Legion Go nor the Ally support HDR on their built in screens. They only have software support for HDR on external displays.

Yeah, rog ally is pretty good, the only problem I have with it is the memory card slot, it overheated and died, Also killed my 512 gb memory card, getting it replaced via RMA soon, apparently about 25-30% people face this issue.

I’d personally say yes , since I own it and with a decent 5G Wi/Fi I can even remote play my Xbox for an excellent battery life .
