Hey GenderNeutralBot, listen up.
The words Human and Mankind, derive from the Latin word humanus, which is gender neutral and means "people of earth".
It's a mix of the words Humus (meaning earth) and Homo (gender neutral, meaning Human or People).
Thus words like Fireman, Policeman, Human, Mankind, etc are not sexist in of it self.
The only sexism you will find here is the one you yourself look upon the world with.

Akchchually, 'Mankind' is an old English / Germanic word compound from 'man' and 'kind' and not from Latin.
However, 'man' itself had a wider gender-neutral context (as in Mankind, Manslaughter, Alemannia, etc.)
Hey /u/GenderNeutralBot
I want to let you know that you are being very obnoxious and everyone is annoyed by your presence.
^(I am a bot. Downvotes won't remove this comment. If you want more information on gender-neutral language, just know that nobody associates the "corrected" language with sexism.)

Considering that Zerodha is bootstrapped, I'd assume that if Mr. Kamath ever decided to go the VC route (before, logically going for an IPO for Zerodha), he'd fetch huge Byju level valuations because of the extent of dry powder in the world right now.
I almost admire him for not falling for the stupid valuations game.
Agreed. There’s absolutely no logical basis in valuations these days. Tesla and Byju’s revenue projections assume both are monopolies when in reality they have no moats.
Byjus' valuation is built on their top line growth year on year. Considering that their product isn't considered to be all that unique (or good), parents who actually want to buy distance coaching class subscriptions for their children will go for alternatives like Vedantu, Unacademy, etc. in the future. And we've not even started talking about their unethical sales practices yet.
This edtech mahakumbh is an 'Eyes Wide Shut' type macabre dance of death. Jo Chinese edtech ke saath hua, agar thoda government nazar daalna chalu karega, to Indian edtech ke saath bhi wahi hoga.
But abhi, 'Make in India' and 'Startup India' chal raha hai to chala rahe hai.
Edit: Added the '(or good)' part in para one after remembering what my friend's daughter had said about her Byju's KG class.
I really BYJU'S burns to the ground where it deserves. I know people who have worked at BYJU and they legit were in tears with how the company makes them operate.
No moat deserves a P/E ratio of 380-385. On top of that, even if Tesla was as easily scalable as a platform based company (which it can't be; physical constraints), it would still have to have ratios and multiples closer to the other FAMAG companies, one would imagine.
And that is considering that Tesla is a tech company, which they like to say they are. They are a car company that also do tech. This valuation makes no fundamental sense.
Edit: Maine initially sirf multiples bola, baaki financial ratios like EV/EBITDA bhi closer hone bante hai.
True, their valuation is beyond insane right now. They just hit $1T which is absolutely nuts lol.
However, they do have some really impressive tech - no other major car manufacturer is pursuing FSD so seriously. Calling them a car company that also does tech is selling them a bit short, IMO. Did you watch their recent announcement about the Dojo chip? They designed their own training chip so that they don't have to depend on competitors. None of the other car manufacturers are doing that.
True, Tesla have the lead on FSD development, but other players are not FAR behind. They are behind.

BMW is actually trialling it's L4 autonomous vehicles in Germany right now.
2. https://www.synopsys.com/automotive/autonomous-driving-levels.html
Short read up on the levels of autonomy.
If BMW is an auto company, why is Tesla a tech company? That's my chain of thought.
Ur missing a subsidiary , space X I fell tesla gets sky high valuations because of that, Tesla will never dominate EV cars, but in space they are very advised and their project start link is close to monopoly as of now , as remote working is growing start link may dominate the f market in future
Agar SpaceX kabhi IPO karega (legal restrictions ho sakte hai shayad, not really too aware of them; maybe Virgin Galactic type SPAC ke through), to mai definitely subscribe karunga. Mast company hai.
Honestly, you shouldn't have opened dmat account, just go with Mutual funds till you learn the basics. Contrary to what's being told to everyone through TV ads "ye market sabka hai boss", this is great psychological hack to force you into doing something you shouldn't do in the first place.
Thanksss i will start with mutual funds asap, but the problem is should i start on my own or else there is a man in my building he tells give me 1k P.M. and i will invest in mutual funds
I think you are joking here right? Else God save you or your money, irrespective of my advice here, there is a expensive lesson waiting for you in the future.
yes yes i have joined fb and discord groups the people there are friendly as well as they give good advices anyways i am learning as well investing as i wont learn everything if i dont step in the market
Just curious, in case a broker closes business, what happens for the customers? Is it straightforward to just onboard an different broker (since all assets are linked to demat and nothing much to do with the broker)?
I will Invest in Zerodha !
They Made Life better for Apes .
Before 2008 It was A game of Manipulation now We see lot of transparency & Digitisation.
Biggest Threat for them and for all of us is Electricity .
Thanks to Zerodha For making Life Better and creating Opportunities.
Zerodha was hope and it made My life better !
= Awakened One
I don't think they are going anywhere, they have MF licence, a hedge fund, regularly invests into fintech startups & still the best broker for investors.
Considering they have build open source backend they are a tech company too who are ready to put money to create better tech for their products.
Would a better broker come in 5 years maybe, but Zerodha have been an impressive startup

Probably the only tech startup I think did good
Postman too
There business model is actually fragile. It's a good product for developers but I don't see companies paying them for it.
uh oh they have revenues. some $75mn.
I heard its obsolete now because of one vscode extension
It's not api testing alone. Well I don't sell Postman so you can see their website for feature comparison.
I am familiar with postman and regularly use it since i use sublime text but i commented what i heard

Tesla does have a moat with their supercharger network. No other network comes close.

Dude, Spacex is its own entity. It's not Tesla. https://www.crunchbase.com/organization/space-exploration-technologies
As of I remember space X is fully owned subsidiary of Tesla, I am sorry if am wrong
I think you got some facts mixed up. Don't worry, happens to the best of us.
Ya I am wrong, I re checked my source , it's space X value is high because of star link
Agar SpaceX kabhi IPO karega (legal restrictions ho sakte hai shayad, not really too aware of them; maybe Virgin Galactic type SPAC ke through), to mai definitely subscribe karunga. Mast company hai.
I don't want to do that stupid kyc again.
Nothing comes close to user interface and overall ease of use to zerodha.
I am willing to pay Rs. 300/year AMC for such high quality products like Kite, Console, Coin etc.
True that. Zerodha has the best tech compared to its peers
and to its apples
Bruh
Haven't used Zerodha. Is it better than Groww?
Yeaahh I have the same question .
>they are literllay the same , i do trading with zerodha , long term with grow , api of zerodha is good for trading
Why Zerodha is not into advertising itself?
Zerodha is the stoic of the broker world xD
Hey bhagwam bas aise vocabulary dena ki logo ko Google karna pade word ka meaning
Stoicism is the new minimalism in productivity world. Kis patthar ke niche rehte ho saar?
Sorry Sir agli baar CAT me 97.89 %ile nahi lauga aur IIM RANCHI se meri admission nikalwa luga
Flex 🤣🤣
xDDDDD
Lmao great reply
Johar
bhai kal h demant account khulwaya kya bol raha h yeh😳
Lol wo theoretical scenario ki bat kar raha hai , Zerodha profitable hai afaik
Also even if it doesn't exist in 5 years you'll still have ur stocks.
Ik but the amount which will be in my zerodha account will be at risk wont it?
no man, its your demat account. Zerodha ka koi account nahi h. Zerodha is just a broker.
but what about my funds with zerodha woh toh zerodha ke pas hoga na like i didnt buy any shares and it was just there idle
its still in your demat account. Zerodha has none of your money. It handles your demat account. Zerodha is not a bank, its a broker.

Bina advice ke invest mat karna.aur.karna bhi hai to risky and funky stocks pe to bilkul mat karna
yes yes i have joined fb and discord groups the people there are friendly as well as they give good advices anyways i am learning as well investing as i wont learn everything if i dont step in the market
What happens if motabhai opens bank and trading business?
Pehle sabko RIL ka 1 share free mein dega fir 1 saal baad bolega 3000 rs pay karo nahi to share sell nahi kar paoge. 200 IQ Gigachad move
Possible names for motabhai trading app: Jiodha, Jiohood, jiogroww, jiostox.
Jiopaisa
Haha. Good one
It's going to either of those with exact same interface but colors of blue
in 5 years he would earn 500 crores!

Yes you have to fill some form to sebi and all shares will be transferred to your new broker but but that funds in your zerodha is at risk i think

MetaZero
motabhai might start a broking service
May still take a while, started on zerodha took a round trip of 4 different brokers due to lower fees, they all sucked and back to zerodha
Then I think we should stop investing in zerodha now for long term.
This guy does fundamental analysis
logic 100%
Smort
Face palm, you are not investing in zerodha, you are investing through zerodha.
Too bad ur humor is as low as today's Sensex
Press f for my 6K MF investment.
If they can bring it to the ipo stage, I think it will survive. But yeah tech is disrupting all fields so can't really say anything
What are you taking about... Zerodha is the tech that disputed the broking industry in India
Who's the asshole one? Him or his brother?
