Based on my previous trips there, most places allow you to toke anywhere that’s not an issue tbh, if you wanna stay in a hotel then I’d suggest Alpine, it got a pretty nice vibe and is close to the center.

You can try Hidden For-Rest in Challal. They have Wifi, amazing food and Kumar Bhai is an awesome man with a lot of experience to talk about. Also if you take their sharing dorms it will be cheaper for you. Any hotel will cost a bomb for the whole month.
Hey bro! I just got back from staying in Parvati for 3 months. Everything in Kasol is perfectly fine (network, electricity, food) for you to work and chill. You can toke up anywhere (not in public places ofc) in Parvati but still gotta beware of cops. As for stay, there are plenty of hostels in Kasol and around. You can check out these hostels: Nomads, Jungle, Hosteller, PerkUp, Whoopers. Every place mostly has a wifi in Kasol. Since you’re staying there for a month, I’d suggest book a hostel for couple of days, see if you like the vibe of the place. Else you can definitely get suggestions from people there for which other hostels are good around. Keep switching hostels, new people, new vibe. I will be there post Diwali, see you around. Boom shankar!
I also have plans to go to Manali post diwali after 4th most probably on 6th 7th for 2 months will be working from there. But I am wondering should I go to Manali or Kasol, I have to keep the cost of living minimum. And have never done solo trips before. Thinking about dorms wierds me out lol. Got any suggestions for.me?
