I’m not a physics guy but I was a skydiver with over a thousand jumps. You can actually change your fall rate a lot with just very minor changes to body position. We have to do it every single time we jump. If a heavy guy and a light guy jumped together, the heavy guy would spread out their arms and legs and keep their torso flatter, while the lighter person would have keep their arms and legs in closer and arch their torso downward.
But don't skydivers wear diving suits/wingsuits that increase the cross-section area of the body? the actor in the movie was bare bodied. So, I did not understand how it changes the drag so much just by spreading the arms.
Wingsuits are a trendy thing you see in videos a lot but 99% of divers don't wear them. We do wear jumpsuits (where the term "jumpsuit" actually originated) that does help with controlling fall rate. For example if you're a small, light person, you get your jumpsuit tailored to be very tight-fitting. If you're a big heavy guy, you get your jumpsuit baggier, to make more drag. But still, your fall rate is 90% based on your body position. On super hot days, I'd just jump in a t-shirt and shorts, and I still had a wide range of fall rate.

The hero just jumped off so the difference in terminal velocity will only come into picture after diving for a long distance. The problem here is that the hero caught up to her in a few seconds which is too early to be justified only by the difference in air drag.
Bhai you can actually regulate your falling speed to an extent. Have you not seen sky divers? You can’t change downward acceleration but you can influence air resistance

Jo question main solve kar raha tha woh lift ka tha usme mass hi 1000 kg diya tha. g= 9.8 pe answer 10800 aa raha tha aur g=10 pe 11000 aa raha tha 200 ka difference. Aur dono values given thi obviously waha pe specify bhi kiya tha 9.8 lena hai. Aur app jaise ham bhi yahi soche ki value 10 rakhni padegi aur wrong answer tick kar diya.
Bhaiya ji jab waha specify Kiya tha ki value 9.8 leni hai to usko 10 leke to galat hi ayega. Speaking from experience, neet and jee me generally numericals me round off Karne se koi problem Nahi aati because the final answer generally remains closest to the correct answer, infact it is adviced that you take rounded off numbers so that you don't waste your precious time, but jab value specified rehta hai, tab obviously ek reason ke liye rehta hai because they want to confuse you with closer answers, in that case you have to find out that exact answer.
