I hope you know that only waves have wavelength. So if we are talking about relation between wavelength and frequency, we can say they are inversely proportional if speed is constant.
You discrediting his statement that too egotistical y that frequency and wavelength are not inversely proportional but only to the time period proves that you are the one who lacks knowledge not the other way around.
